I wonder if the union members who attend these things are paid...by whom?

Careful, I know the answer for at least one such "rally." And I was a union member once, in Boston. the rules and procedures have not changed.

Peter....still have yet to see the savings facts with a Wind Farm off our shores...let's see what those wind turbines actually produce (per the article) at Logan after a year as stated

You need not wait for the results from Logan. Town of Hull already has that information for you. Its been successful enough that they are shooting for 4? more in the coming months.

sparky...if you can't realize the difference between Logan, the town of Hull and Nantucket Sound we are in deep trouble.

Maybe it is your type of thinking that has turned the Cape into a strip mall.

Peter, how did you manage to comment on Mr. Brooks' article about Logan (Mr. Brooks does not use the comment link). The turbines are not just unattractive, and useless, they are unwelcome. Logan, half-an-inch of snow, and they panic. All flights cancelled and/or delayed. The expensive wind-mills are like bingo slots. bostonchamber.com. deval is the head of the board.

Amtrak is not as stupid as Logan. Washington, NY, Boston. You wait, after you both have 18-hour days, in two feet of snow, 10-minutes late, the train arrives, he shows up, we're both happy. Just don't feed him vegetarian!

Peter, I challange you to reach out for the IBEW 103's BM and inquire as to your assertion about union members being "paid to attend these things".

If you are interested I would be happy to offer his name & tele # for your query. As well a face to face interview could be arranged if you would prefer - on camera or off.
