House party leads to thirteen arrests

TRURO
- Thirteen teens from Milton, MA were arrested Thursday morning after what Cape Wide News has learned was an apparent all night house party. Truro Police say it started with an incident at Dutra's Market where two males attempted to purchase alcohol and left the store after reportedly removing a package of beer from a cooler. A short time later a vehicle described leaving the market was spotted by Officer Craig Danziger parked at the above waterfront summer home at 454 Shore Road (Route 6A) in North Truro Thursday morning.  With assistance from Provincetown Police, officers located 13 people all reportedly underage in the residence. EMTs were called to treat a male and female who were unresponsive.

During an investigation police learned the property had been broken into about 10 p.m. Thursday night. The home appeared ransacked with damage inside and out. With additional assistance from Provinctown and Wellfleet Police along with National Seashore Rangers the 13 were taken into custody. A Barnstable Sheriff's Department transport unit brought the suspects to the police station.

Michael Goedicke reported to be the grandson of the house owner, Michael T. Sullivan, Shane P. Sullivan, Michelle P. McCart, Valerie A Bosse, Andrew Cunningham and Breana A. Beatrice are all 17-years old. Alexander Pontes-Rosa, Terence M. Mayo, Jr. and Michael Killion are all 18-years old. Three Juveniles were also arrested and not identfied because of their age. All were charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime to commit a felony, malicious destruction of property over $250, and minors in possession of alcohol. Beatrice was also charged with possession of Class D (marijuana). Shane P. Sullivan was also charged with assault and battery on a police officer.

Police say approximately 118 bottles of beer and liquor along with a small amount of marijuana were recovered at the scene. The incident remains under investigation by Officer Craig Danziger and Sgt. Kyle Takakjian. Story and photo by Tim Caldwell.

Yeah, and they say, "Truro is such a quaint little town with zero drugs"....the wife of the Truro cop had much to say about "all the drugs in Truro"....but she's not real, just another one of my imaginary friends.

Well, since nobody was stabbed, beaten resulting in shattered cheekbones, tossed out bay windows...maybe it was another group of misfits. Who has a connected to this woman from Newton?

If it was a party in Eastham, maybe. Truro seems to always be in the news these days. Any word yet on why the Truro police are out to ruin Prada?

A little thing like sexual assault never seemed to be a problem for any of those neanderthals....hot tubs in the summertime.

Dutra's Market, Wellfleet....JF's old stomping ground....but underage? JF is beyond that....mid 20's? Will Orleans Court release the names, real names, any names, or will they get the usual treatment--just go home now and be good boys and girls. The sad part of this story is someone could have died from alcohol poisoning--unresponsive? They are lucky to be alive.

but seriously, these house-crash parties have turned into an epidemic worthy of CWN's spotlight team...I know, I know, they've been going on forever, and what's the big deal ,ids gotta go somewhere, but I'm gettin the feeling it's gone from intramural hijinx to organized mayhem, what with instant communication and all...solution? beats me, but the first step is always recognizing we have a problem...

Jeff [Member] writes:
correction. not a house-crash party in the traditional sense, because Goedicke's son was among the partiers, and so really in the end it is nothing more than your average party on the Outer Cape except that no one thought to invite the police beforehand...
