Truckin'....

Times are tough, and the price of gas isn't helping any.

Some people get mad, some people vote Democrat, some people clean their rifle and get a job at a book depository, some people write songs:

Maybe it is George II's fault, or maybe it isn't. Maybe it's those greedy Arabs, maybe it's the Jews and their hold on big media, maybe it's the speculators, maybe it's the spineless, liberal Dems not letting us saw off the top of the Rockies for oil shale, maybe the GOP is the bought/owned bitch of Big Oil.... or maybe it's our fault, for not acting sooner/bitching harder.

Some people spend all their free time worrying about who to blame, but I don't have time for that kind of sh*t. You have to kill a lot of people to get to The Man, and I'm not really built for that kind of work... but that doesn't mean that I'll just sit here on my thumb while the Corporates eff you over.

Hells no. I have resources, motivation, and a forum. F**k those people.

Lots of truckers come up to me and say, "Yo, where's the cheapest diesel gas in the Buzzards Bay/Wareham area... or in the state itself, for that matter?" It happens all the friggin' time, actually.

I usually send them here: http://www.massachusettsgasprices.com/index.aspx?fuel=D

That site is a good one to bookmark, It updates a lot, and is as grassroots as it gets. What I am going to do so as to save you the bother of surfing that site is to isolate Cape Cod area diesel prices for my Mack daddies out there.

According to this site... the cheapest diesel gas on Cape Cod- and in the whole state, for that matter is (drumroll, please).......... LukOil in Wareham, at a relatively reasonable $4.79 a gallon. Other stations in this range Halifax, Lakeville, and Acton.

Granted, Wareham is more gateway than Cape Cod... but only a fool is filling up on the Sandy Spit these days, as a 20 cent or so Cape Tax is in full summertime effect. At $4.00+ a gallon, it's worth going off-Cape for.

Diesel prices elsewhere on Cape Cod...

 $4.83, Gulf, Bourne

$4.93, Johnny's Tune and Lube, Falmouth, and Irving Gas, Sandwich

$4.94, Citgo, Sandwich, and Mobil, Sandwich Rd

$4. 99 Sunoco, Bourne

$5.09 Stop and Pump, Whitman

We have a rumor of $4.77 diesel in Middleboro, but we'll go with that we know for now.

Truckers are the road men for the Lords of Karma. You can f*ck with Joe Six Pack all you want... but when you lean on Daddy Mack and his rig full of Necessities, you may suddenly find yourself paying $9 a gallon for milk.

I'd rather just help the truckers out. No one else is going to. There's no reason to believe that McCain is any more honest than that Muslim the Dems are running, so the government, as usual, is good for two things: Jack, and Sh*t... and ol' Jack just left town, folks.

Gasoline has more than quadrupled since 9/11, and it has just about tripled from the time Bush landed that jet on the USS Mission Accomplished. If you think that the government will get us out of this, know that- out of the luxuries like gasoline, drugs (prescipt and non), tobacco and food that I consume regularly- only marijuana has maintained it's pre-Bush price.

In criminal times, only criminals get square deals. Other folks just have to read this column, and save some lira the old fashioned way.

Great music video and animation. Scary thing is that I don't see the sheep waking up any time soon, once the next scape goat is brought in no one seems to be held accountable and the fiasco continues. American's let this happen to them. I'm glad you're mad - I am as well, but where is the overall mainstream anger, largely being ignored. Make no mistake about it. Time's are about to get a lot tougher for a lot of people.

I totally agree, video paul. Where is the outrage? Where are the activists? Gone. All sleeping sheep and heads in the sand. Just shut up and keep your jobs. Be invisible, dont rock the sinking ship.

Corruption, denial, cover ups etc are everywhere, big cities, small towns. Why on earth do you and your cru waste your time and energy complaining about the same things over and over again. Why not take half the time you spend on this blog and do something constructive and productive. Organize something, motivate people in the real world. People you accuse of being in denial are just trying to earn a living, feed their kids and keep their house. We have lived in a fear based economy for eight years now, you should recognize it already.

Do they make energy efficient trucks?

There's a possibility folks may find themselves in the slot that aerospace engineers were when the Apollo lunar landing missions got scrubbed. Facts are, we in the USA had a highly energy efficient transportation system called the railways. We killed it off, putting all our eggs into highways, fossil fuels, and, daresay, trucks.

It isn't only the price of gas or the amount of driving: The United States as we know it is deeply, deeply dependent upon oil. It will hurt and cost to get free.

...and you are now living in fear based on an untrustable law enforcement. But go on and live your lives, working and caring only about yourselves, til it hits YOU. This is very small place. We are all connected to each other. It WILL hit you. In the cities, there is and always has been corruption. You can live your life usually uneffected and know that there is someone watching and the corruption gets uncovered - eventually. If you choose to ignore this, here, in this tiny community, it WILL effect you eventually. If you accept it, you reap what you sow. Enjoy.

**you have no clue what I do and whether it is unproductive or not. This is a blog..it is for nothing other than people voicing their opinions. I have mine, should only YOURS be heard? Get your own blog then, and block who ever disagrees with you, ok?

Here's another way trucks and the truck industry will be hurt ... See an article on how the highway trust fund is running a deficit because of less gasoline purchases, at:

More fear based spoutings from someone who is defensive and continues to be part of the problem, never part of the solution. Corrupt LE, DA, more lies and deceipt. Welcome to the real world. I lived through the abominable OJ trial, inept LAPD, moronic Judge Ito, and a guilty man walked free after killing 2 people in cold blood. He's finally where he belongs, behind bars! But not for the heinous crimes he committed. Like I said ...big cities, small towns...everywhere.

So...youre saying...hey, it happens everywhere, just go about your life and accept it? Even though HERE, where it is so tiny and we are all connected to each other, and dont dare open your mouth or you will get a dead rat in your boat? just a little warning right? Is that what you want? Then you got it! Again, enjoy!

** are YOU part of the solution? Tell me what youve done besides suggest everyone just accept it as "the real world"?

Clamshelli...
I never said that and you know it. What I said is...take ACTION, instead of complaining on a blog.

Your words, do you want to tell me what they mean? Again, what are YOU doing to be part of the solution, besides being the blog police? Who are you tell people what they can "complain" about on a blog? And who was talking about this subject here anyway? I was referring to videopaul's excellent post, which didnt say anything about corruption, and neither did I.
