Woman criticaly injured after car hits house
EASTHAM
- A local woman was critically injured after losing control of her car and hitting a house. It happened around 2 p.m. Monday at 85 Silver Spring Beach Road.  62-year-old Charlotte O'Connor was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital.  Officials are investigating the cause of the crash. The home should be repairable. Further details were not immediately available.

Surfers paradise but swimmers beware as tropical storm passes by
CAPE COD - Tropical Storm Cristobal will pass out to sea Tuesday. Building waves along ocean beaches will likely mean great surfing. However, swimmers are warned of the potential for enhanced rip currents and to swim only at lifeguard protected beaches. If you get caught in a rip swim parallel to the coast until you get out of it and then work your way in towards the shore. There should be little evidence of the storm's passing on land.

Brewster sailor rescued
BREWSTER
- A woman sailing on a small craft needed help getting back in after strong southwest winds carried her out into Cape Cod Bay Monday afternoon. Marianne Lieberman of Bechtelsville, PA was able to tie off to a buoy until Brewster firefighters could reach her with a boat and tow her in.  She was cold but uninjured.

Route 6 crash in Provincetown
PROVINCETOWN
- A car went out of control and crashed into the median along the sand dunes on Route 6 at the entrance to Provincetown Monday morning. The windshield was shattered by a low hanging branch. The driver was treated and released at the scene. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

I still cannot understand how you run into a house. We need slow house crossing signs on all the streets now.

What no questioning of how Eastham FD treated the lady of if med-flight was called or if they flash their lights?

they would have called med flight but since the area is so heavily wooded with trees it would have taken too long to clear the trees for the flight to land.
