Barnstable Town Councillor hosts fundraiser for Murphy
EAST FALMOUTH—Independent candidate for state representative Carey M. Murphy is
hosting a fundraising event at Wimpy’s Seafood Café in Osterville later this month.
The fundraiser, which is sponsored by Barnstable Town Councillor Richard G. Barry and Lindsey Counsell, is being held Tuesday, September 23 from 6pm to 8pm. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will be available.
The suggested donation is $50 per person, or $75 per couple.
Wimpy’s is located at 752 Main Street in Osterville.
A resident of East Falmouth, Carey is running to represent the 3rd Barnstable District. He is currently serving his third three-year term as a Falmouth selectman.
