Bank Forecloses On Cape Cod Timeshare
Attorney General's Office Calls Case 'Ongoing Investigation'

Navigator Beach Club in Dennisport was supposed to be a year-round timeshare. Dozens of people paid thousands of dollars. But developer Robert Reposa took their money and never delivered.

navigator_timeshare175_209Now Team 5 Investigates has learned the bank has foreclosed on the property and Reposa himself is under investigation

The project at 405 Old Wharf Road was supposed to be finished two years ago and include luxurious amenities like an indoor pool and sauna. But that never happened. Reposa never properly registered the development as a timeshare. Then he stopped paying his $2.2 million mortgage. Finally, work stopped... WCVB-TV.

Harwich Bylaw Would Allow Large Commercial Wind Turbines

The winds of change are wafting through the town's regulatory process as the planning board begins to shape a new bylaw allowing larger commercial wind turbines to be located in the town.  But there are concerns by some members of the board that the height and number of these structures could change the character of the town. Barry Worth, chairman of the utilities and energy conservation commission, was before the board last week with an update on the status of efforts to use wind to offset the $800,000 the town spends annually on electricity.

He said in 2002 selectmen charged his committee with looking into wind energy for the town with a couple of provisos, including the town not build, own or maintain the structures. Much has happened in the past six years, including the formation of the Cape and Vineyard Cooperative, a nonprofit that would own and operate turbines scattered across the Cape and provide low cost electricity to the towns... 3 Lower Cape FinComs agree to work together
Provincetown, Truro, Wellfleet combine info

In what may be a first, the finance committees from the three outermost Cape Cod towns - Provincetown, Truro and Wellfleet - met last week to discuss how to combine information and resources to help their respective towns save time and money.

The well-run meeting ended with the three committees agreeing to form a task force comprised of two members from each group that would meet regularly to discuss ways to share costs and information and how to streamline their budget processes. The whole group would meet quarterly to finalize any recommendations to take back to their respective boards of selectmen... Banner.

I am an owner? What happen to my week(s)?

If you bought you should know that the Navigator Beach Club was never registered as a time share. It is still listed as the Spouter Whale Motel. So you bought something that didn't exist. You can try and look up the property at the Barnstable County register. There is also no entity on record to sell the timeshares. if it's not on record then It doesn't exist. Timeshare law in Massachusetts clearly states that developers must form entities and file deeds.

· What should I do as an owner?

Folks should submit paperwork to the Massachusetts Attorney General.
Then File a Complaint with the Cape Cod Consumer Affairs Office.
Then file a complaint with Det. Sgt Ben Wunderlich at the Denni PD.
Then register as a member so you can post in the forums. (contact info for above copied here)

Nice gams, but the common train of thought in all urban schools I worked at is "don't date the red-headed blacks, as they are sort of wild... the Irish of Africa."
