The Post-Election Rant
Now the hard part begins, huh?
Whether you supported Obama or not, I hope everyone appreciates the history of what happened Tuesday night. The same people that celebrated in the streets MUST be engaged in the process, whether it is in their towns, state or wherever. Certainly the world looks at us differently now.
With today's economic summit, the Obama transition is looking more like it will be a shadow government, hitting the ground running on 1/20/09. Given the crises to deal with, that is a good thing. If you haven't seen, there is a transition website change.gov, up and running.
Before any Democrat gets too cocky, please remember that it was in this very decade that the GOP machine looked like it had rendered the Dems out of the picture. These things run in cycles, folks.
OK, except in Massachusetts where the GOP lost even more ground. Howell and Beatty didn't even win their own town.
McCain's concession was gracious and one hopes that perhaps since his presidential aspirations are gone, he will go back to being John McCain again.
And just for entertainment purposes, I hope Sarah Palin stays Sarah Palin. Not even the end of the week and the number of stories that have popped to the surface are hysterical. Mind you, as Campbell Brown on CNN so accurately refrained to the GOP people trashing her... YOU picked her! YOU told us she was capable of being a heartbeat away!
While Kerry did not do as well on the Cape as he did in the rest of the state, he did virtually the same as he did down here when running for president. In 2004, he got 55.8% on the Cape, this year, 55.3%. Obama did slightly better than Kerry did in 2004, getting 57.4% of the vote. McCain did about the same worse, compared to Bush '04, as Obama did better. Of the 24 towns on the Cape and Islands, Obama outperformed Kerry '04 in 19 of them.
LOTS of ticket splitters in Sandwich, as Jeff Perry rang up 8504 votes there, compared to 5928 for McCain (and 6111 for Obama).
I stood at the polls most of the day, holding signs, kibbitzing, enjoying the unseasonably warm air we had. My favorite and proudest moment was when my youngest daughter came by, when her mom stopped in to vote. My daughter had a handmade sign she had created asking people to vote Yes on Question 3. She ended up spending a couple hours out there, holding her sign and one of the more printed signs. She even took an Obama sign for a bit. She was pretty happy when her side of the issue prevailed. Her dad, the grizzled veteran of these things warned her, "Enjoy this, it doesn't always turn out that way for you."
No matter what side you are on, staying engaged is what should be expected of us as citizens.

Keep the faith. If Sarah runs around in a towel long enough I am sure she can capture the male vote. Look forward to 2012.
My goodness..are you surprised all the leftover Clinton rumswabs(nod to Howie Carr)are now advising and running the "change"'s new administration?
I assumed we were on the road to nirvana..
Guess I was confused with the myriad of hype and hyperbole ..

Bush derangement syndrome will be continuing for a long time..
and never, never, ever will a democrat take the blame for anything..
they have conditioned themselves well to blame everything on the repubs..not that they don't deserve equal blame.
but, please... can't any dem admit guilt?...ever.../
Never!
That's why they won and don't self implode and destroy their own party as the repubs do..

Like snow in the springtime. Gone for a lifetime.
Before you get all wrapped up in any former Clinton folks being involved in the government, try and recall the state of the economy when Clinton left, with a surplus.
The change, for those of you that still don't get it, is from what Bush has done to this country. Instead of whining, trying and fix all the ways your party has screwed things up. Novel idea, huh?
But I'm sure everyone will vote for a dalmation. Thats OK. That was my first pup in 1946.
Let's hold any sitting presidents feet to the fire..
I will show him the same consideration as Bush or Clinton...
after all, he's just a man..
and not my saviour
At least Clinton, Bush, Ford,Reagan, Carter didn't slam a former 1st lady in their 1st press conference..
what a class act!
Was Joe Biden advising him on that gaffe?
This is going to be quite an interesting 4 years..
Looks like a resurgence for SNL!!
And you thought Bush's gaffes were fodder..just wait...

The short lived "rally around Bush" was due to the lies and unanswered questions swirling around, still unanswered, investigators who slowly realized it was not an act of isolated terrorism by one group of Bush haters, but far more complicated series of fiscal mishaps which led to lucrative war for manufacturers. We found out Saddam was on the Bush hit list for CIA daddy along with same henchmen in adm.rummy, ashcrank, and others. Who's war have we really been fighting? Who had the most to gain? Hard one to swallow, but after this last heinous act of embezzlement on our 401k's, what else is there to say? Do we blame innocent Americans for leaving their money on wallstreet? That must be their fault, too. My money is in Fidelity. Guess they will drive them out soon as well, they just keep stealing our money till nothing is left. When do the massive bank robberies begin? Obama has to hire a group of mercenaries and put them behind bars. But I'm afraid soon he will realize he's surrounded by another den of theives.
Why don't you do a little research on the following Obama associates and see what you come up with:
James Johnson CEO Fannie Mae, Franklin Raines, Christopher Edley Jr, William Daley
Or how about his newly appointed Chief of Staff, Raham Emanuel? He was Director of Freddie Mac during the scandal.
Get back to me on those will ya?
After all, they spent billions impeaching Billo for an affair. But lying, killing, high-way robbery? Nah...doesn't rise to the impeachment level. Please.
These crooks deserve the death penalty and I don't even believe in it.
So, don't bother being Americans first, like you always preach, but never practice....fat Boy Rush was the first to say "He's not MY president".
Just be your mean, ugly, thug-like, elite snob un-American, my money first Republicans that we have come to know.
Go to Dubai with Cheney. That's his brand of "country first"...Saudi Arabia. That's who we die for. It's the oil, stupid.
Hopefully, your negativity will be drowned out by people who really care about the future of this country, not just their bank accounts.
Out with the old.....forever!!!
Possibly it's time to rename the boat "The African Queen" since "Maverick"s are passe...
"The African Queen"...?..LOL..oh, Neddy, you sure do come up with some good ones....
Mav, you should be careful, some of your comments could be misconstrued.
Many of us are upset about the state of this country and we are all effected one way or the other. Whether directly or indirectly by a friend or family member losing his or her job, healthcare, 401k, stocks, home, business, health, peace of mind, sanity....someone mentioned to me that it is just like the 1930 depression when the rich took over...people who lost businesses and homes watched in horror as the wealthy scooped up their years of hard work. Is that what really happened? Homes and businesses lost by the struggling middle class were taken be the rich? Is history repeating itself once again? Maybe the midwest farmers have the right idea--buy your land/home outright, live off the land and distance yourself from government and urban tax traps. Is that the better way of life? Many MA residents have moved to NH, ME and FL, but there are other problems in those states, right? It's national, it's global!
You cannot compare Obama to that Nazi president and his ugly regime. Go back to your history books and find out who Bush's grandpappy was supplying arms to, then come back and tell me what YOU FIND.
Ask any Anthropologist who travels to distant lands and they will tell you the real story about Bush and his rogues. I assisted a faculty member once who studied the devastation of Sierra Leone in the late 90's. She asked me to download all I could on what was going on there. At the time, I didn't realize the magnitude of slaughter on young children forced to work in the diamond mines. When I asked her why this story was not on the front page of the US papers she went into a rage and screamed, "because the US govt. doesn't give a SH!T". I was appauled and believed what she said. There is no oil in Africa. But they do have diamonds, don't they. She's from the UK, btw. Interesting how college kids get the uncensored news in class and the rest of us are dumb down day after day. Don't believe in fairy tales anymore.
The English have never stopped colonizing the world...HELLO!
How would you characterize your rant on Sarah?
It's a free country. At least until January.
We have not been winning any popularity contests with the global community and for this Nazi president to thumb his nose in everyone's face, was simply wrong and placed the American people in grave jeopardy in my opinion.
One does not have to be arrogant to show strength. Some great leaders use wisdom as strength and that counts more than one who is hell bent on waging useless wars on innocent people.
It's time we took our country back. And I wish more of you would understand the bigger picture at hand. Obama's strength is having Biden by his side. Biden's been around for a long time and knows what the deal is in Washington. Instead of criticizing, you should give him a chance. I would hope that the two will work as conservative Democrats, the way I was raised. It's a good balance and a human one. We must have compassion for the middle class who are faced with financial disaster. The middleclass is our backbone.
If Sarah Palin had been a qualified Republican VP candidate, I respect her, regardless of her make up, 60's beehive & short skirts. Win based on looks? All she had to do was open her mouth & it was all over. Many of us could see the "white trash hussy" in the 250k wardrobe paid for by McCains dipsh!ts. Even Reps. spoke out against her,& realized there were far better qualified, experienced & bright women McCain could have picked. In my opinion, she hurt McCain & the party. I see her as a narcissistic, corrupt, opportunist who's only mission was to lavish her husband with more power, & expensive gifts. Anyone looking at that couple sees it for what it is. He's always walking behind her, not beside her, you notice that? Who wears the pants? Her daughter is 17, getting married, having a baby. What is she trying to promote--women should remain in the kitchen, pregnant & barefoot? Sure the bible belters love her, but that way of life is not for all of us. Some teens & pro-lifers don't want more out of life, they settle too soon because many men would rather have a mommy for life.
Meant..."I'd have more respect regardless of her make up..." I'm basing my argument on the fact that she is UNQUALIFIED, think "the boys" didn't want a strong woman as a VP, because if they did, they would have picked one. Palin is not intelligent, educated, or experienced enough to hold the very important position of VP of the US.
Come one, Mav, let's be real here. If Johnny Depp was running for VP as a Dem, I would not vote for him either! He's not qualified for the job, bottom line. But he's a major heart throb, to many women who like a quick fantasy, so what the hell is the difference? At least Johnny doesn't have turkey neck.
Mav, I'll always love you regardless of politics or how you dump on my lovable friend Neddy....but please take another look at the aging brunette barbie doll, will ya? She's not helping your party, but making a mockery of it instead. I see her as a bubble headed housewife who got lucky in a state that doesn't know any better..Alaska..filled with wildlife, working poor & mountain men. I'd rather jump off the nearest cliff than live there!
So, she really in no stranger to "inside"
politics as they like to claim. She worked the press like a pro.
Nothing wrong with that...just admit it.
And I don't think anyone misconstrues people's meanings here...it's clear as day.
So, I'm waiting for all of you who always call Obama "Hussein" to start calling Rahm Emmanuel "Israel", sine that IS his middle name.
Now THAT would be politically incorrect, eh?
Betcha no one has the balls.
Yet they throw around "Hussein" endlessly....interesting, isn't it?
Was I on the conservative side? Yes. Did I think John and Sarah were the best choice the Repub's had? No.
Having said that I wish Obama all the best for the future. But have reservations about his qualifications and character.
Why if he is so all embracing are media outlets that challenge him being ostracized?
Now Mav, when you say it's a free country til January, I'm pretty sure that overlooking the current administration's tendency to traipse over the Constitution was an oversight.
It was nice to read how the transition team is already working on hundreded of executive orders to rescind, such as stem cell research, the environment, etc. It was nice to see a poll that 2/3's of America were proud and optimistic.
Being a Dem, I am looking forward to seeing how we mess up a good thing...
Tell me bitter, how did the "left wing" go gaga over Obama? How about Chris Matthews getting a "tingly" feeling up his leg? How about CNN? CBS? ABC? MSNBC.... all in Obama's back pocket. Then, you have a news anchor say "we don't really no much about him"... no Shi*
She sold herself that way.
Well, it wasn't true. She used her influence as gov. to get people to pay attention to her, and I'm sure she used other things as well.....not an insult, just the way things are.
If you got it, you flaunt it. Especially in politics.
That's all I'm saying. She is a politician just like all the rest.
She's not just regular folk.
Obama never claimed to be something other than a guy trying to get elected.
And I'm waiting to see how long before the Republicans totally destroy any hope of real change.
Hopefully, the optimism of the country will over-run their quest for Obama and this country to fail....
As Mr. *cough* Jay Severin stated months ago.
His call for people to destroy the Obama presidency.
Don't need a "fairness"
doctrine as far as I'm concerned.
I'll never listen to them any more. I've switched to "urban radio", which my view-point is more in tune with.
Hate radio....I've had enough. And Hate tv too...god, what a nightmare we have been in!!!
Hallelluja it's over.
I remember when Clinton proposed and passed banking "reform". That action dismantled one of the most important safeguards enacted in the aftermath of the Great Depression by allowing banks to once again combine with insurance companies and brokerage houses (and took away most regulatory oversight by state banking commissions).
Likewise, Bush has presided over the largest explosion of Federal growth and influence ever. So much for small government Republicanism.
All the while, both parties argued over social agendas.
We need to get serious and somehow adress a problem festering under 5 Presidents and 3 changes in Congressional leadership. As far back as Paul Volcker, there have been periodic clandestine meetings with "power brokers" (like Walter Wriston) to address the near collapse of the financial system. Sound familiar?
We've all got some major problems to address and bickering and delaying will only make the solutions harder to come by.
He's said he wants a bi-partisan administration.
And he told everybody on Tuesday night that he wanted to be their president...whether you voted for him or not.
Howard Dean said on Wednesday that they are about trying to heal the country.
Obama is NOT the problem!
It's the people who want to destroy him before he even begins.
I'm sure it won't affect him, as far removed as he is, but these people can keep the divisiveness and hate going down here in the real world.
And I would like to see more Republicans like Colin Powell, who will call these people on their un-American attitudes and behavior.
The hate has been damaging, and deliberately so.
It's hard to erase. Or forgive.
ps; Second amendment is safe. Obama is not a muslim terrorist.
It's hard to erase. Or forgive."
Let it go!
There was (and continues to be) negativism on both sides. I can't tell you how many Democratic commercials in different races (up to and icluding Obama's priceless rearview mirror ad) featured Bush's face superimposed next to a candidate's. Boy, Bush must have had a lot of close friends who always agreed with him (if you believe the voice overs).
And Rush and his ilk continue to snipe in the other direction.
The point is, I need to see evidence that we are working together, not just sanctimonious words. That would include bi-partisan appointments and a real plan (change, in and of itself, is not a plan; the Depression was a change from our previous circumstances).
So, what do you say? Let's start talking about what we would LIKE to see happen next. But I only want to hear psitive thoughts.
You're right. But there were warning signs including Greenspan in 2004 yes, I said 2004 "Mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac could pose a threat to the country's financial system if their debt is not restrained, Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said yesterday, urging Congress to consider capping the debt the two Fortune 500 companies can carry"
Did Congress, Barney Frank, Barack Obama or Chris Dodd who were receiving big contributions and had friends (and Boyfriends in Franks case) working for the agencies do anything about it? NO
I do agree and have said here myself, there is plenty of blame to go around for the current situation. I think Obama has done the right thing in already having an economic summit and you can be sure that come 1/20/09, they will hit the ground running.
I think the GOP has other things they ought to think about, rather than knee jerk opposition. Bi-Partisanship, obviously has to be practiced by both sides. Now Emmanuel was challenged on this, this morning and he said his marching orders on this comes from the top. Hey it's hard enough to keep the Dems in line, if anyone on the Democratic side thinks this is the time to bring up this huge laundry list of things they would like, they are dreaming. Not happening.
You be positive. I'll take the backside.
So, that let's me over- and- out.
Spoken like a true liberal. Go back and READ what I said and try to understand. Was Barney's boyfriend Herb Moses working for Fannied Mae? How does that make me "homophobic"? Say what you want, but DON'T suggest I'm homophobic asshole.

I know you say you're happy, but golly gee I just don't feel the love.
Only in defense to his lies of how "unemployable" I was on cape because I refused to be mistreated by cape employers who think they can't break labor and IRS laws. I spoke out, unlike many women and men on cape that don't.
Big difference between bragging and being self assured. To bad many can't tell the difference.
If buzz is so damn happy why does he have so few friends on the blogs? He's managed to argue with just about every poster on this site. Sure he loves life.
Assignment is to watch movie and read a few chapters of the book, and compare. We are learning how dialogue shows more about characters that narration. In the book "Jaws", part of the story is told from the acute senses of the shark as he attacks the woman at the beginning. Amazing techniques can be used in writing to create strong impact.
Only those who treat me with respect see my good side. Buzz you lost the battle years ago. You can't get to me and it's killing you! HA.
Suddenly I'm inclined to agree with crusader without even giving you a second look.
I do agree and also what Dem said about enough blame to go around. Who controls senate, house and congress? Dems over rule. They will agree on policies. Abortion and stem cell, heard tonight, Obama will overturn Bush's previous policy, hope there will be much more. We must keep the faith. We need to bring back a balanced economy & equal distribution of wealth. Restabilization of middle class is a must! Keep them in their jobs and homes. We can turn this ship around. Tax the rich.
Please don't take it personally. But don't ya think it's a little funny? What have we all become? Arguing, debating, comparing and sometimes agreeing with people we know as buzz, crusader, possee and somebunny?
Now get to bed.
PS Loved you in Harvey.
Let's see how you handle the "equal distribution of wealth"?
Cru, I'm calling a truce. Please explain the above.
You like a bull with his nads zapped just when the gate opens.
Personally, time to time she does make some sense (when she backs off to the black dudes court case esp)...
Think she is actually learning to be a bit more balanced now that she is intellectually challanged @ higher ed.
So maybe... Just maybe it's time to play more like Obama & open the doors to a kinder gentler dialog...
This from one of the bigest *ickheads...
~on ocassion~.
PS, little Jimmies mom won't be making any damn cupcakes because he says Obama told his mommy that there's been a "redistribution of cupcake making" and all the rich folk will be making the cupcakes from now on:)
You bring back fond memories of school bake sales. I'm one of the best cooks around. Maybe possee and I could drop by and help with an assembly line of mixing, scooping batter and multiple oven racks for fast baking....just a kind thought. Your kids will always remember. It's worth the hot stove and aching feet. Next time your in Bed and Bath, pick up the portable whirlpool. At 79 bucks it's worth it. Your aching body will thank you in the morning.
What shall I attempt to explain that you will fail to agree? You want to start another round? Sure you are up for it? The rich have had a free ride for long enough. Next, they take the foreclosed homes on the market at 50% sale, soon homes will be back to their previous skyrocketing values, not the hands of the middle/lower class who were prospering for far too long with Greenspans overextented 5% interest rates that finally crashed the market. Banks are holding foreclosed homes, the rich will pay cash, the middle/lower class will rent from the wealthy slum lords, unless Obama forces a foreclosure moratorium, and loan rewrites, the balance of wealth will shift once again to those in power. Happened in the 30's right? There are thousands of millionaires, over 600 billionaires in the world. The internet has aided to the shifts of power by allowing companies to accrue wealth by outsourcing & via telecommunications they were able to cut enormous costs. Organizations don't have enough staff to tap donors, too many to count. What does that tell you? Imperialism rules the world.
How about economists that claim too much easy money allowed those who really couldn't afford to purchase a house in the first place is what drove home prices up causing the likes of freddie and fannie and the banks to fail?
I'd like to hear your ideas for "equal distribution of wealth"? It's a common theme we've been hearing, how would it work? And are there examples of countries where it's working?

All hail the great ceasar!
Anything is better than the Nazi regime.
Rent "War Inc", black comedy but point is made. "CHE" was informative but not put together well. How long has the US been scr€wing with Cuba? How many countries total?
"Brokeback Mountain", was best of three. Maybe people can love beyond gender lines, race, class, culture? What gives society the right to judge? I'd like to hear how others feel about the movie. Book is suppose to be different, working on that now.
How many can admit they voted McCain because they couldn't bring themselvea to vote for a man of color? Do they feel a black uprising? The wasp strong hold will never let it happen.
Howie's Bulger book was the only good thing he's done. Not saying it's right, but maybe the Dem's take more because the Rep take more. Abuse on both sides don't make it right but they will always be rivals going after the same. I'd rather give to the poor and save the middleclass. In the long run, without us, the rich corp dogs got nothin. Who will buy their goods and services? The middle east? Fat chance.
And I have heard a lot of people say the same things posse does. Heard one guy say "All the liberals are going to be shocked when they realize he's going to tax me too."
I just don't believe it. Liberals won't mind one bit. It's the conservatives who always say "Out of my wallet". And maybe I'm stupid, but I see Obama as a smart, even tempered guy...not a "moonbat".
He has kids he wants a better future for, and thank god for him, he didn't forget to mention the great meaning of his being elected president..in this country. It's unbelievable!
And since the first thing his people did was bring up policies of Bush that they want to reverse, that shows me they are serious and know how awful this past 8 years really have been.
Rahm Emmanuel? Don't like him. Don't trust him. But, with the Republican wing-nuts you gotta be brutal. They certainly were.
Restore the Constitution.Stop kissing billionaorie's asses.
Hell is over.
They will blame Obama for son of a CIA man's mess. Did you take a helicopter to work? How's that 12 mil house? Brokerage firm a$$ple gets to keep it while the rest of us suffer it out. What about the bailouts! And now Ford and GM want their welfare too! I see gas at 2.19 but I hope people continue to boycott. Banking, retail, gas, stick it to them where it hurts. Asstards.
Gas under 2 bucks off Cape, btw.
If GW was responsible for the high prices, he must me responsible for the low ones....thank you GW!
Google "bush high gas prices".
Even aside from that, if you are willing to accept an economic meltdown to bring down oil prices, you go right ahead. Good, cogent analysis!
We have all had enough of corp greed, some ways might be too late to save middleclass.
Dem, the 19 cents is no sweat for the waspy Cambridgites up here compared to yours who just won't leave the dirt road.
Buzz, try driving a Scooter next summer, do your part, get rid of the SUV gas hog.
Just keep speaking not of which you know. It really is amusing.
Blame everyone except yourself.... it's really easy. Hey, this can be the "poor me" administration. Damn those big banks making me sign that mortgage I couldn't afford. Personal responsibility has left the building.
I'm not sure what % of the delinquent mortgages were due to people that didn't know better. But I certainly know several people that did understand what they were getting into and continued to be irresponsible, taking out 2nd mortgages to buy new cars and take vacations.
Again, the likes of Barney and Dodd not wanting to regulate the mortgage industry despite the warnings, because everyone should own a home.
Steering & Targeting
Predatory lenders may steer borrowers into subprime mortgages, even when the borrowers could qualify for a mainstream loan.Vulnerable borrowers may be subjected to aggressive sales tactics and sometimes outright fraud. Fannie Mae has estimated that up to half of borrowers with subprime mortgages could have qualified for loans with better terms.
According to a government study, over half (51%) of refinance mortgages in predominantly African-American neighborhoods are subprime loans, compared to only 9% of refinances in predominantly white neighborhoods.--Center for Responsible Lending
well well...not a surprise is it?
If the answer was as easy as personal responsibilty gang, we wouldn't need any laws protecting people from businesses, from unscrupulous practices.
How dare you invoke the other party in any culpability..
Don't you know that all the problems in the 21st century were from the Bush dynasty and everyone else was trying to correct the tyranny of bush, cheney regime?
Were it not for bush derangement, 911 would never had happened,Hussein, Bin Laden would've been our allies and world peace , would be prevalent..
All the current world banking crisis,GM aig, american express, etc etc would be solvent, home prices would be solvent, and love would fill the air..
How dare you involve the party of change in any of the current meltdowns...
They are totally innocent!
To even mention Barney and Fred(Flintstones?) in any of the Fannied Mae disaster is beyond reproach..
You are dispicable and upset those who seek the truth...
possee
You have to be the most arrogant person I've never met. You really think you're smartest thing on this blog.
Don't just take my word for it, if you'd like to educate yourself on Barney Frank and Chris Dodd's involvement with the Fannie/Freddie fiasco, just read the Wall Street Journal replete with facts.

Have the democrats officially hired you to be their "interpreter"? You seem to constantly tell us what they mean as opposed to what they say.
You are the official mouth piece of the corrupted old DNC... verbatum..
Your comments absolutely thrill me with joy with the absolute nonsense that abounds from your domain..
And the response from buzz makes it even more hilarious..
The more you post, the happier I am.
blog on..
And Obama, and Emmanuel, will make mincemeat out of the likes of Reid, Palosi..
They will never give in to that nonsense, nor your tired old repetoire..
He's lightyears ahead of their stupidity and yours..
On that, I give him due credit..
and still..All hail, great caesar!
possee
I only post comments for provocative replies..
Far too many take it all too seriously..
Where I stand on issues will never be revealed..
It's the response that drives me..
Have a great evening

Thanks poss, it's nice to know that I entertain the children too.
I hope you lose it all one day when you are too vulnerable as I had been. I was down to one income with 3 dependents, kids,& ailing mother. All fine until the loser cape boyfriend decided building wasn't for him anymore. I paid all my bills on time. Couldn't sell, bargain hunters expected a fire sale, premadonna cape realtors cried no more gravytrain. I wish the same for mcnamee the dirtbag lawyer, b!tch broker burns and scumbag bartollini the fireman who owes me 9k for non payment of rent, SQUATTER! At my once beautiful Brewster Home, trailers and filth, BOH tried to fine me. I told them to stick it. Hope they all crash and burn along with his brother the crook who wants my house. You are a nosey a$$ole..what goes around will come back to you. Fyou. I will get through this too like I always do. You could never deal with it,
If I were you, I would paint crus quick like a bunny; steer clear of 'Pictures of Lily'...
She gonna POP soon I think.
Offer one as a consulation prize to her ex...
Maybe Buzz too.
And I disagree with you bunny. The predatory lenders are totally at fault for this mess.
They were in a position of trust, as a business that was supposed to be honest and above board.
And they lied and cheated.
You are saying..."Hey, you homeowners, you shouldn't have dressed like that, it's your fault you got raped!"
I geuss if we take your logic, we can assume that we are all rubes for keeping our money in the banks, since we now know what freaking crooks they all are?
Man, it's so typical. You all are SO strong on locking them up and throwing away the key when it's a kid stealing a car, but here these greedy scumbags took life-savings poor people, and you are like..."Oh well, the poor people should have known better."
Bull! The crooks shouldn't have been crooks!!!
There are democrats who deserve praise as there are republicans..
I don't subscribe to either party as a base, nor fervently defend either..
I, like you and cru call it as I see it from my perspective..period!
Many times we are all over the edge with comments..oh well.
Some are just so deadset in their perspective that any other opinion is reviled rather than discussed..oh well again.
They provide the one-sided humor, or is it humour, needed here.
Verbatim is correct..was anticipating the CCT spellchecker service to chime in.
possee
That's real nice cru. I wouldn't wish that on anyone even you. We all make bad decisions in life. Who's fault is that? Who's responsible to fix your mess? Your bitter...what would you like me to do?
Let's make THEM pay back the loans that they screwed people with. Will that happen? nooooo
THEY get to have luxury spa experiences and luxury accomodations while they contemplate how they can worm out of this mess that THEY created.
And everyone who lost their homes, life savings, everything, can listen to people tell them that it was all their fault.
What a damn world.
Christmas is coming....I see a lot of Scrooges around here!!!
ps crusader...speaking of blog retaliation, my daughter was the victim of a hit-and-run while driving my car. Totalled the car, and thank god my daughter is ok. But you bet your booty I was wondering if this was some kind of retaliation. Because we know how deranged the other side is.
As we all know, there is no such thing as coincidence.
"Don't worry, we will find a way to generate more money for the war. We'll start jacking up the interest rates on the bogus loans, then we will steal their homes away, sell them off to our rich friends. Who gives a shit about some dumbass working class stiffs anyway? We are great lawyers who know how to write fraudulent loans, and best part is--it's all legal! We even have some politicians in our pockets who are paving the way! And when the shit hits the fan, the same lawyers will help the poor slobs file for bankruptcy and they will never own again. They can just live in the slums, who cares, we'll be rich!"

"On September 5, 2008, while I was gearing up to launch my first meeting in support of your campaign; hours before I was going to sign a sub-lease document with a minority owned child care center, catering to low income families; I was trespassed from our own building; in violation of a court order. The local police lieutenant, the local DA's office stood silent. The Judge whose order was being violated has not ruled on the motion for contempt and enforcement for over 3 months now. This is in addition to the fact, that the State's Division of Administrative Law Appeals has not issued a decision on the trial of restitution of my wife's medical license, almost an year after the trial is over; where the statute calls for a decision in 2 months. cont...
---this guy must be nuts, right!!
What will they find in the doc's past to discredit him, drive him out! I wonder what it will be!
Peck, I popped long ago, but only for a short time....bitter tears of a beautiful garden, colors of the rainbow, bunny's in clover...I'll keep close to my heart. You can keep the rest of your swine from that wretched place and I will move upward with the grace of God and my children by my side. I continue to care for my ailing mother who knows nothing of my strife and yes, this will make me all the more stronger. Maybe there will be a class action suit against those who have done this to us, if that doesn't happen, we always have blogs. Who needs the useless press who covers for the evil enterprising criminals on and off the island of hell's bells. Keep your crooks.
I'm home again among those who love me and will help me get through. I'd love to see you all walk in my shoes to see how you would hold up.
"not until it happens to you"...mom always taught me to care for others.
"She will always hold a special place in her heart for Cape Cod"
Apparently not.
Typical for you to just continue with your empty rants and believe that no blame should go to the people who robbed us blind.
Scr@w you! Dishes are best served ice cold.
Except for the few friends there, that I remain in touch with, I have no use for MOB ISLAND, most people refuse to believe exists. That's why Bob George said he couldn't prove the case, he also eluded to LE involvement in her DEATH! So F-you! I will spend the rest of my life trying to expose the obvious criminal activity that goes on there in the disguise of piping plovers and dancing fiddler crabs. One poster said the place is infected with "dubious" characters, another said that even your judges, lawyers, business owners deal drugs and are hooked....others say the place is of "decadence", moral decay? "yes, there are very bad people here"...one lawyer recently admitted. I've only just begun. They want to ruin me, let them try. Thank God for Somerville.
I didn't see this until now, sorry, "ps crusader...speaking of blog retaliation, my daughter was the victim of a hit-and-run while driving my car. Totalled the car, and thank god my daughter is ok. But you bet your booty I was wondering if this was some kind of retaliation. Because we know how deranged the other side is.
As we all know, there is no such thing as coincidence."
My daughter was also in a accident not too long ago. The car was totaled. The man who hit her cut her off while taking a sharp left at an intersection, while she was going straight ahead. Luckily the airbags deployed. Coincidence? I've had transmission issues with two other vehicles routinely. Can cars be tampered with, sure, not an obvious brake tampering or car bomb, more "hard to prove" tactics lending the rest to believe we are all paranoid delusional, but interesting how the numbers are gaining. Wonder if the doc is considered paranoid too? Just watch your back bitter. I've alerted my family in the event I happen to turn up dead in a kayak accident. My local politicians know as well.
Quick thoughts...I have differences with Walter, Peck, Cru, possee, Buzz and bitter.
Even though we have never met I consider all of you friends. Amazing how you can read peoples thoughts on the internet and bond with them. It's like shaking their hand or giving them a hug.
Enough fighting! How about we all get along. We have a new Pres., whom I didn't vote for, but will support.
As for Nedi?...I vote Dali. A talent for the ages.
And owner of the car that hit her claimed it was stolen, so she's not at fault. But my daughter found out through the grapevine that the guy who hit her ran because he was carrying...you geussed it...drugs! And that the car owner let him use her car in exchange for her supply.
Insurance company sided with the car-owner.
Makes you wonder that's all.
And yes, we're on Red Alert.
And lawyered-up.
Sorry for your troubles too.
Maybe an Obama administration will be more open to change in this "justice" system.
It sure needs it.
http://socialistaction.blogspot.com/
Would be fine if certain posters weren't such d!ckhe@ds! When do we have our steak? I'll tell ya all about it...no A1, makes me puke.
Sorry to hear about your fellow seafarer ;~(
Peter got me started tonight in a fowl mood...
Would love to talk sometime about going back to sea... Nothing quite like it.
Back later maybe...
Game on!
Environmental and economic.
I really don't want to debate any further. Let the chips fall where they may. Good luck.
In the interim I will refrain from insulting "tubby" broads and "cartoonists" with no talent for my own amusement.
Oh well! Another winter while stoking the fire and my lovely bride.
When do you stop and ask yourself.... "maybe I'M the problem"?
Only kidding about the A1, I'd never put the stuff on my steak. I'll bring the Pinot Noir.
Just had to get that last one off... she's such a meanie.
Sorry to hear about the Capt. Hope your trip went well. Like you, I did not vote for Obama, but it's time to stand be hind the President and get this country moving in the right direction. These are tough times. As of now, I have very little confidence in our elected officials and their ability to get us out of this mess. There was suppose to be transparency with this bailout but we're not hearing who the money went to. How the hell do we shake this country up? I called Delahunt's office and told them but it's like talking to a wall.
Her planets have been out of line for years. Love her and hope Needy can realign the universe and save us all.
In the interim I will watch my bride's CitiCorp drop from $62 to $10. And my hard earned 401k cut in half.
They blame Bush. Get a grip. It was Barney F. and Chris Dodd that did the most damage.
No rant. Just another American's opinion. Speaking of opinions...Neddy is a poor excuse for an American. Just loves living under the sacrifice of everyone else. Bon Soire.
I would never invite that jerk buzz.
He has to invite himself like most losers.
If you knew me, you would be surprised.
You know some bring out our best while others salvate over dogging our worst. Luckily I do enjoy my best and know those who thrive on the worst will have their day. Thank you for your kindness, it's rare, esp with certain residents of the sand pit. My message is for those who should guard against the poison and tyranny that does exist there like no other place. That is why they continue to try to discredit me. To admit I am right is to admit failure, corruption and the many heinous acts of violations on our basic human rights. When justice comes knocking, remember it was only a blog.
"If you knew me, you would be surprised." By what my friend? You are divisive.
Let the healing begin. I am willing to support whomever America wants. But if you and bitter continue to rant you will piss me off.
Please talk about something substantive. Whether it be political, environmental or worldly. Don't care.
There were things in my life I could not change, walked away from selfish men who could not love me because they hated my strengh, it made them feel weak. Dad died when I was 12, mom was on her own at 44 never remarried because she didn't want the trouble so she said. I know life in Nazi occupied Piacenza was rough, scars of war that never healed. I inherited their uncommon strength and will to face every hardship with dignity and grace. There is a purpose for my role in this and I may never fully know it. Are you spiritual? I am. There is something very wrong with that place. If someone went through similar in my town I would listen and ask questions. They'd rather not go there. Many buried secrets in the dunes.
Delahunt?...
"Talking to a wall"...
You are kidding!
Not.
I was addressing bunny. It is abundantly clear you think like the A1 bottle buzz who can't. Planets don't line up inside the Cape vortex that spins many into the dark hole. I don't expect many to get it. I guess you guys must be use to having a passive woman who will never challenge your male kingdom. That's okay. Always knew I was a woman before my time. I will find a man who can appreciate all that I am even my intolerable stubborn pride.
Since you brought it up, must be your issue. Not surprised. Women need their minds stimulated as well as their bodies, that's why you lose along with the other clown. Good try. Never have problems in that dept just haven't found a man who can spin all my cycles at the same time while same mind is in connection- makes it all click Ncync. Maybe you will be lucky someday to experience it, doesn't sound like it.
All set in that department.
Thanks for thinkin' about me though.
Maybe that's what your problem is...
You want all your cycles spinning @ the same time...
A sure call to the Sears Roebuck repair man!...
Your machine...
Discombobulated I'd guess.
If you want it by county, see
www dot campaignmoney dot com slash finance dot asp?type=it
It's normal for you to hate me...let go. It's working. All your hostilities are beginning to surface. In that great big washing machine we call life, I'd suggest you turn the knob to "super soak" and let all that hidden dirt and scum shake loose.
Just think, some people pay top dollar for this kind of counseling:)
