Stand for Peace, Part II

There can never be too much peace in the world

With the success of Paul Rifkin's moving video, Stand for Peace Part I, it was only a matter of time before Paul could mix together another batch of peace loving folks for Part II.

the_kennedys_200Stand for Peace, Part II features Paul's photos & video accompanied by the ballad "Stand", written and performed by the nationally-known American folk-rock band the Kennedys (right).  According to Paul, "They saw Stand for Peace, Part I and offered their song for my project."

The Kennedys (Pete and Maura) are a husband and wife duo, who have toured the country extensively and even played at both of President Clinton's inaugurations.  Visit their official site here.

Once again, Paul has assembled a montage of several folks proudly displaying  a blue button produced by FalmouthPeace.org with a very simple message, "Stand for Peace".

If I had less time to live, I'd make an effort to blow Pete kennedy's head off while he was riding in an open car with his pretty little guitarist there.
