US Auto Makers 12 Step Program
This version of the 12 steps is an adaptation from the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and is intended for general use with any addictive or dysfunctional corporate behavior.Step 1- Admit they are powerless over their addition and dysfunction - that their companies have become unmanageable
Step 2 - Have come to believe that a Power greater than themselves could restore them to sanity
Step 3 - Have made a decision to turn their companies over to the care of Congress as they understand Congress.
Step 4 - Have made a searching and fearless moral inventory of themselves
Step 5 - Have admitted to Congress, to themselves and to other human beings the exact nature of their wrongs
Step 6 - Are entirely ready to have Congress remove all these defects of character
Step 7 - Humbly asked Congress to remove their monetary shortcomings
Step 8 - Made a list of all workers and investors they have harmed, and became willing to make amends to them
Step 9 - Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them
Step 10 - Continue to take personal responsibility and when they are wrong promptly admit it
Step 11 - Seek through prayer and meditation to improve their conscious contact with Congress as they understand Congress, praying only for knowledge of Congress's will for them and the power to carry that out
Step 12 - Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, tried to carry this message to other addicts, and to practice these principles in all their business affairs.

About This Blog
"The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie -- deliberate, contrived and dishonest, but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic. Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought... Our problems are man-made, therefore they may be solved by man. No problem of human destiny is beyond human beings." - John F. Kennedy
