TRURO - Chief John Thomas announced Wednesday that on March 27, 2009, Officer Nicholas J. Ambrosini completed an 80-hour Basic Sergeant’s Course which was held at the Massachusetts Police Training
Council’s Plymouth Academy.
The course focuses on training officers in the field of supervision and draws on experienced supervisors of various ranks to deliver the course.
Officer Ambrosini is a four year veteran of the Truro Police Department where he is currently assigned to the evening shift where he serves as the officer-in-charge at various times.
Chief Thomas said “by providing training to officers it gives them the tools to work with when performing their daily duties and reduces liability for the Town.”
