B & E at Falmouth veterinary clinic
WEST FALMOUTH - Tuesday, August 18 around 12:25 a.m., several officers responded to a report of a loud party in the area of 584 West Falmouth Highway. While checking the area, Detective Robert Murray observed a male subject smash out a window at the West Falmouth Veterinary Clinic located at 594 West Falmouth Highway.
The subject then went to the rear door where he ripped off the screen and attempted to gain entry to the building. As Detective Murray approached the scene, the subject fled on foot. After a brief chase, Detective Murray was able to catch the subject and place him in custody.
The male subject was identified as Timothy Hamilton, 19, of East Falmouth. Hamilton was arrested on several charges including Breaking & Entering to a Building in the Night Time to Commit a Felony and Maliciously Injuring Real or Personal Property. Hamilton will be arraigned in Falmouth District Court Tuesday morning.

Percocet overdose in Falmouth, victim transported to hospital
FALMOUTH - Monday, August 17 around 11:30 p.m., the Falmouth Police Department received a 911 call reporting that a 19-year-old female at 337 Palmer Ave. was unconscious and not breathing.
Officer Bryan Hazelton arrived on scene approximately one minute later and reported that the victim was blue and not breathing. Officer Hazelton performed rescue breathing for several minutes at which time the victim began taking shallow breaths.
With the assistance of other officers who had arrived on scene, Officer Hazelton continued to treat the victim until Falmouth Fire and Rescue arrived. The victim was transported to Falmouth Hospital for treatment.
The investigation concluded that the female victim had accidentally overdosed on Percocet. Criminal charges are being filed as a result of the incident.

Harwich Police Department arrests for week ending 08/16/09
OUI and theft top arrests
HARWICH - During the period of Sunday, August 9 through Sunday, August 16, the officers of the Harwich Police Department responded to 390 calls for service. The arrests below are the result of the week's activity.

Victoria Labate of Johns Pond Road in Carver was arrested by Sgt. John Sullivan Jr. for Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol and Negligent Operation of a Vehicle. Ms. Labate was arrested during a traffic stop. |

Edwin Wallace of Herrick Street in Winchester was arrested by Sgt. John Sullivan Jr. for Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol, Negligent Operation of a Vehicle, and Operating a Vehicle without a License. |

Timothy Kelleher of Hemlock Street in Norwood was arrested by Officer Keith Kannally for Shoplifting. Kelleher was arrested as a result of a call for service. |
