Massachusetts State Trooper injured in Route 28 crash in Bourne


   Bourne firefighters tend to a MA State Trooper after a single vehicle (cruiser) accident Saturday night.

BOURNE - A Massachusetts State Trooper was injured in an accident on Route 28 in Bourne around 7:30 p.m. Saturday night.  The Trooper driving the cruiser crashed into the median strip of the highway after striking a large puddle in the travel lane of Route 28 according to a Trooper at the scene of the crash. 

The Trooper involved in the accident reportedly received minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for observation.

sandyneck, firsthand I constantly see the state police blow by me doing almost double the speed limit in horrible driving conditions. Second, 90 percent of the time I see a State cop on the road, he is also on the phone. Do you really believe with the lack of details given that this was an innocent accident, or are you a police officer? Come on, get real.
