YARMOUTH - At 8:44 a.m., Wednesday morning, a 911 call of a car crash was received at the Yarmouth Fire Department. At that time it was believed a school bus was involved.

At 8:50 a.m., the first unit was on the scene and reported that a school bus was not involved, but that there was a two-vehicle crash with entrapment. A tone was struck for a full department recall for equipment  and manpower.  Engines 43, 45, Ambulances 54, 55, 56 and cars 51 and 58 responded.

The three people in one of the vehicles, a mother, daughter and granddaughter, were transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries.  The two people in the other vehicle refused treatment and transport stating they were not injured.

The Jaws of Life and Hurst cutters as well as a battery operated Saws All were used to remove the roof and open the doors freeing the people inside.

The last Yarmouth Fire Department vehicle cleared the scene at 10:20 a.m.

Car Seat checkpoint?? How can I put a kid in a car seat? That's where I stash my illegal prescription medications. 5-0 don't play fair, blogger.

First does it matter what landscaping it was? They were NOT at fault. Second the only sheet people saw was the blankets the firefighters were using to protect the injured people in the car while they were using the jaws, capice ?

I don't remember reading where it states it was the landscapers fault.
I know what I saw. It was a sheet covering a person, for whatever reason, and that is the facts. CAPICE!!!!!

Are you the same person that's posting this over at craigslist? I worked the scene wishinguwell. Local company, name not worth mentioning, if you were there then you know the name as the truck and trailer were the last towed. There were no fatalities, we use blankets and sheets to protect people when using extrication equipment.
