Haaaaaaaaaaar 'Mateys'!!
Cape Cod Times publisher Rupert Murdoch and lovely third wife Deng Wendi were captured by our camera Sunday as their swanky new Hongqi V12, a Mainland update of the classic Rolls Royce Phantom, cruised down Commercial Street... as one of the floats in the festivities surrounding Leather Mates Weekend. It is Good to be Master and Commander... 'Top' of the World! ...And my favorite Hongqi!!

Mav, you out there? What do you have to say?
"Well, it doesn't suck, oh and by the way, have you seen the ratings for Fox New's lately, crushing the competition is the ultimate aphrodisiac!"
In other news, Jeffery Immelt didn't get any last night.
If Rupert can score there must still be hope for the Nedster.
Neddy! Did you enjoy Leather Mates Weekend?
PS...guess I should have had my money in gold vs corporate America. Any chance I can switch my 101K from dollars to euros? My niece lives in London and I have two cousins living in Paris. They love it. Maybe I could run a dinner boat on the Thames or Seine.
My bride suggested I could paddle the gondola at Waterfire on the Providence River. Then I reminded her that I can't sing and got kicked out of an all boys choir in the 4th grade.
You know how much it hurts me when you rag on Neddy. If Buzz and I can learn to play nice, then there is still hope for you and Neddy. Is a dominitrix a chick who provides spankings? Lol
I have no use for an inferior substance that believes he is superior to all.
The long hair and hat is a symptom of his low esteem. I am glad his cat loves him. Everyone needs someone to love.
Maybe if there was more talent and less BS I wouldn't rag on him.
"...when you are on your back or knees..."
Evidently feminista liberals only stand up for the dimpled elbow gang.
Rather catty bunch you are.
Might the power be cru, buzz, peter or possee? Naaaahh! Has to be the other flake WB.
When your "claim to fame" is that you are a CCToday blogger with the power to delete you know your a loser.
Sorry you are under "economic capture" here on Cape Cod. Maybe I could sponsor a road race to help you escape.
Or related to the Nedster?
"world of ole farts with money and the ho's that service them"
Sounds like Cru and Ned to me. Bonnie and Clyde revisited.
WB...please bring back the Magician, Peck, Magic and those that entertain.
This crowd sucks. And last but not least a high middle finger to the biggest loser in Chatham.
Catty and jealous, sad, sad, sad.
“The jealous are troublesome to others, but a torment to themselves. “
It's like when little Johnny Potts got the U in the vocabulary lesson and the teacher cringed when he said "urinate." Then she asked him to use it in a sentence and he said "Urinate, but if you had bigger tits you'd be a nine."
O-ops! Now I'm really gonna get it from all the feministas.
Peter, I'm hardly catty, just tell it like I sees it---I love her emerald earrings "a blingin we shall go" and the veneered teeth, and I'm sure there will be a number 4---but the ole fart has it goin on---if I had that kinda money I'd be having a handsome dude hangin with me too, I wouldn't care about payin for it---you can't take it with you when you go anyways right? We all pay for the high lifestyle in varying degrees in our bad marriages of past---never make that mistake again---only for love next time.
I guess you can add sweet Julia to the list of "jealous females". Why is it that every old fart (you got one right there on CC..think hard) who is a BILLIONAIRE needs to have a Lolita for a wife? By the standards of age difference, they may as well be underage. What is her background? Could this be yet another arranged marriage of the powers that be? Come on Neddy, tell us who the Yale grad is, who is her family and what do they own?
Peter, maybe you are the one who is jealous of Murdoch?
How long do you think this "arrangement" will last? Hopefully, we won't all be speaking Chinese..I really think so.
"Afterwards Deng joined her father in Guangzhou, and began medical studies.
Deng went on to apply to and be accepted by Yale University,(the big pay off no doubt) where she received an MBA. Deng has recently become a director for the holding company that licenses the MySpace brand and technology to MySpace China..former Vice President of News Corporation's STAR TV in Hong Kong. She was married to Jake Cherry but divorced after two years and seven months".
All qualities that would make any reasonable person inclined to believe she’s a “ho.”
What do you know about her as a person other than that she’s married to a conservative?
Neddy, your svengali like effect on the dimpled elbowed cougars is starting to take hold.
Soon shall be the slappy sound of high fiving trolls singing:
“Uhm, uhm, uhm, Ned Sonntag,
He said fat, skinny, black and white, all are equal in his sight,
“Uhm, uhm, uhm, Ned Sonntag...
Bet it last at least 10 years cru.
I'm no cougar, not a gold digger.
Two suggestions...hair.plugs and slimfast. That's just for starters. Miracles are something else.
And that is exactly what infuriates the "anti" posters in here. What happened to the old "Good for her!"? The green eyed jealousy monster rears it ugly head once again.
So ladies, if it’s allowable to say all young girls with rich older conservative men are “ho’s” than by rights someone could say something like: all liberal, divorced, lonely old internet crawling women are fat, booze addled, whiney, desperate welfare cases seeing how truth isn’t a required element...
Point being: it doesn’t feel good to be called names, now does it girls?
If any of you “ho” callers knew it to be true, that would be one thing but obviously you don’t, so I’m putting my money on:
jealousy to win,
catty to place,
miserable to show
and I can smell a trifecta in the air!
Your resentment is showing again, like a ragged old slip that hangs down because it has nothing left to support it.
I guess you can't help that your town is so dysfunctional and stuck up, that only the chosen maniacs get to live there--along with the poor suffering locals who must tolerate them, but your hateful elitist attitude remains in tact.
LOL...like I would jealous of an Asian princess married to a sagging old geezer aka a flaming right-wing CENSORING fascist. PLEASE...save the displaced anger for the people in your life, I'm sure it's mutual HELL. Is it almost time for a last minute call at the local pub, or maybe time for a refill on those anti-depressants?
Oh...you must be the dog with fleas who was torturing my good friend clami for months on end. Your the DICK right? I mean...PI, that DICK. Okay, now I remember. How many people have you ruined in your line of work? Are you sure you're not going bald? Sorry, I has mistaken you for that other Peter.
How's the Harbor these days? Are they done scraping your bottom?
I knew a PI in Somerville, he use to be a cop and there is a book out about him.
He was a hero. Don't think you will ever have your name in DC like he does.
You're a legend in your own mind, Peter, so is karent because she boasts that she lives in Truro. Big deal. If the celebrities didn't like it so much, it wouldn't even be on the map. Does everyone on the Cape want fame and fortune, like the Kennedy's? It seems the disorder is running rampant--I thought only Manso and Flook suffered the incurable personality disorder. Funny, they also live in Truro!
There's a few acorns here that need to be gathered for winter's harvest..
Still awaiting my check and gop manifesto from the right wing conspirators..
Have mav, peter, or buzz received their new manifesto's yet?
How bout karent2?
Damn, all those poor folk in Detroit in line today for the change and hope checks never recieved..hmm.$3,ooo each you say?
How's that for hope?
What say you Richard?
By the way, did any of see the news regarding healthclaim denials by providers?
Seems Medicare was number one..how's that for progress..ehh ?
National healthcare is the shining light by bitter..
go figure.

Do you mean the #1 best seller Liberty and Tyranny by "The Great One", Mark Levin?
Great read although I wouldn't recommend it for "umm, umm, umm Obama" gang or the faint of heart.
Reality can be rather uncomfortable for some.
Now onto Misery...
cru writes: How many people have you ruined in your line of work?
None I can think of, I’m in construction / real estate and the market is slow but I’m ok. Wasn’t going bald last time I checked, pretty grey though. Which harbor are you referring to? I’m actually on a barrier island in Florida right now, bailed early this year, you know weather and all that. I will be back to visit and check on the digs periodically.
Hopefully I’ve cleared up some of your misconceptions, now it’s my turn.
What inspires you to claim I’m a legend in my own mind? Do we have yet another mind reader on cct?
I also noticed the Asian reference, curious choice when speaking derogatorily about someone.
Please feel free to expand on that thought and the root of your intense disdain for someone you don’t even know.

But that Senator was set up by that cop.
"Plead guilty to this, or I'll charge you with much worse" (public transcript)
And speaking of cops..."the Department of Homeland Security is doling out federal money to get police departments around the country stocked up on the LRAD weapons."---
Just Great. NOT.
the enemy is us.
It's not even about the wide age gap, or the fact that she's hoping to gain all his wealth someday. More importantly, I'm betting she wants to inherit the American media in advertising, by infiltrating the US via Facebook. The primary issue is the fact that two extremely wealthy people from opposing nations have locked into a matrimonial business enterprise which will have a detrimental effect on the American culture. It's bad enough our universities have gone and sold off our education and technology to the foreign competition and highest bidders. How do you think she got into Yale? High grades? I'm sure daddy made a hefty donation. That's how many of them get into places like Yale and Harvard. You know what the result is? Extreme Globalization of the foreign markets. Do you notice a difference in the way we shop? Where has most of our products been made for the past three decades? China. Which countries dominate the technological global markets? It's not the US. Their products are CHEAPLY made and therefore are of low quality. Notice the quality in clothing stores?
On the other side...
"The main enemy of the open society, I believe, is no longer the communist but the capitalist threat."George Soros..
the "White Knight" of the left..a multibillionaire who made his fortune collapsing international currencies, while despising capitalism..and enraptured to O.B. and the defeat of conservativism.
And I thought only conservatives were wealthy..oh well.
There's always ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, NPR ,AP,UPI for alternative state sponsored propaganda.

Yes, they're handing out MBAs at Yale now based solely on nationality and wealth.
How many times have we had to replace our vehicles, cell phones, computers, & TV's in the past 10 yrs? When we were kids, how many times did our parents have to replace their cars or TV's? What is the main reason we have computers & cell phones? Advertising products. We have become a gluttonous society addicted to new products, many we don't need and it's constantly being forced on us everyday. How many times have we been told we can no longer use our 4 yr. old computer because new software dominates that we replace it. Same with our cell phones. Everyone needs to have a flat screen TV because to have one that is too clunky is considered to not be out of fashion. What a crisis. Same goes for cars. Unless you drive a new $80k Escalade, somehow you are less worthy to be on the road. Watch the way people drive. The flashy high priced newer cars dominate the roadways with their "look at me", cutting you off, whizzing by at a steady 80 mph. But the joke is on them. How many of those cars are paid off? Hardly any, but they must keep up appearances, like every facet of life.
At least you've got the name right. And you got your MBA from which institution? Well, sure, they will take anyone's money and must show good faith by allowing entry by some less fortunates of society. Otherwise it would be just too obvious. You know all those letters the college presidents write are not to mommy and daddy, they are too extremely wealthy donors--pinhead. I should know, because I had access. So, why don't you go crawl back underneath the rock you came and try to do some real investigative research on the subject since you don't know crap about which you speak and take my other two fans with you.
Is there anything or anyone in this world you are not pissed off at?? College presidents;Cadillac owners;Peter whatever his last name is;Karen, and I thnk I might be in that group for some reason.
When life deals you lemons, suck 'em!!!
You are the best!!!
Why not get an education like the rest of us who seem to know where Murdoch has enabled the corporate dogs to steer our sinking ship? You just might learn something. Then again, you spend your life driving back and forth to Luke's liquors so I won't expect much. Try to stay sober and don't drive at night. I guess that's the most we can expect of you.
Fall for the bait!!!! You are so good at remembering everything about the old Dog!! Still at that prestigious Cambridge university??? Did I see you at Flagstaff Park last night?? Have a great day!!

Stay thirsty my friend.
It appears the trolling dimwits are out in full force.
Well, maybe if I didn't get ripped off by the low life bandits on your island I wouldn't have developed such DISDAIN for certain individuals who live there. Too bad, you can't lock up the real criminals who give that place a bad name. Where should I start? The wonderful carpenter who comes from one of the Mayflower families who turned out to be a low down user and thief? Or what about that writer Peter Manso who contacted me on a blog, tried to get me to stop writing because he wants to distort the story, like Flook, the other lowlife writer who was too busy bragging about the DA who wanted her, HA!. Both thought Christa would make them famous, she did but not in a good way. Maybe it was the fireman who showed up with his freeloading brother wanting to rent my house, only to have his brother try to swindle it out of me by not paying 7 months rent? Not before he trashed the place & yard so I couldn't sell. Didn't realize he was hiding from his wife. Cops told me to go to court.HA! Chief told me both were LOSERS.
"I love Cape Cod, it's just some of the residents I have a problem with"...
Have no regrets. Continue to enjoy Chatham harbor, one of my favorite spots I will remember well and only the great things the Cape has to offer. Stay clear of trolls and deadbeats. Continue to hang with those in the arts. If I had to do it all over again, I would have chosen a different path and stayed among the artists. To hell with the rest who only try to bring people down to their level. I'll be fine. Lessons learned. But it would be nice to see them get what's comin to them and that goes for the one's who protect the scumbags. Everything happens for a reason and it was my destiny, at least for a short time. It's made me stronger and appreciate what I have in the city. Hang in Neddy, you've got a great spot, just keep the talent streaming along and you will be fine.
Cru...wishing you the best. Maybe the Nedster could hand sign your portrait and sell them at flea markets as limited edition prints.
possee. peter and buzz. Keep up the good work. You have the "commies" on the run.
"there's one Alternative Future for you... we'll all have chips in our heads so we can read Chinese..."
You mean like those chips the vets implant in our pets used if they stray. HELL NO! Studies found the chips don't work and the poor little babies can't be returned to their rightful owners so they must go to the pound with all the other hopeful little wanderers. Great technology!
Here's a tune think you will enjoy. It's got a great beat. Just one of the great things about having a hip daughter, she shares all the latest tunes. Still got a bod like JoLo, Neddy. I've been shedding pounds because I am more active now than ever and even though I may seem bitter, at times, I've gone past most of it. It's another journey around the next bend.
This tune might be an oldie though. You know there is always something sweet about me...lol.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pO_TaTblcP8&feature=channel
The other tunes I like are by POE....strange tunes, but great beat. They say our 40's are our 20's and when you see me again you'll notice some changes, all for the better. I've reconnected with some old friends from school and met some new people. I can't wait to attend the political events coming up, they should be interesting.
Aarrrgh mateys, buy the man a drink,!

If that combined with my first name isn’t enough, feel free to out away.
"it would be nice to see them get what's comin to them and that goes for the one's who protect the scumbags."
Yes, you have that right....still waiting for the tide to turn, as it always does.
And it is a shame about our country too....sold to the highest bidder.
But the thing is...there are so much more of us than of them.
And when push comes to shove, they may be in for a big surprise.
Or, as Fulford says, there are people who have it under control from behind the scenes. They are not going to let the rotten f's get away with their plans.
And I believe that. Because as you have said numerous times, what comes around goes around. Reap what you sow. Action=Reaction. Whatever. It's time for good to take over, and for evil to reap their rewards.
It's simply a law of the universe. Irreversible.
can't get away with murder forever. and god sees all.
You have an opinion on everything and they "can't get away with murder forever. and god sees all."
PS...to stay on topic "Haaaaaaaaaaar 'Mateys'!!"
Lying us into a war?
Lying about torture?
Taking away our fourth amendment rights?
Using the Federal Gvt. as a means of Republican-Only need apply?
Giving out no-bid contracts to their friends?
Killing soldiers with faulty ground-wiring?
Thousands of deaths for business interests?
Killing for power and control?
Letting innocent people take the blame for them?
Railroading political opponents into prison?
I Could go on, but it's making my blood boil.
Oh, and we have agreed NOT to prosecute these things haven't we?
So, do tell what has Acorn done that in any way comes NEAR that?
And why are your panties in such a wad about Acorn, and not the afore mentioned criminals?
Whom Murdoch supports. Whom wants to right-wing the world.Haaaaaaar Matey's, On with the looting!!!!
Might that thought apply to Acorn? And who is protecting the scumbags? A racist president.
What a country.
Interesting how this foreclosure issue continues to follow you. How did you make out on your last issue you had with forclosure?
So why don't you enlighten me....what heinous crimes have they committed that bears prosecuting?
How are they scumbags, and how is Obama racist?
And you have neither answered my question...in fact, NO dog-gone neo-con republican or conservative has.
Why do you go after Acorn like gang-busters, yet ignore the crimes of Bush/Cheney?
I'm in the process, so it is too early to tell. My lawyer, an agency, three major networks and the state house are now involved with my case. When I have a final outcome, I will be sure to share it with others in similar situation as mine. If there are any people on the Cape still fighting to save their homes from foreclosure, get in touch with your congressman's aides first, then a reputable foreclosure prevention agency and a good lawyer. Then may ask you to speak with the local and national networks, as I did and provide your stories. It's hard to share it and put yourself out there, but you must take that chance if you want to save your home. A national network reporter shared that the banks are in deep do-do and can't cover their ass anymore, so by November, Obama promised another 250,000 homes will be rescued from foreclosure. Find out if your lender is on a list that is being sued by the AG's office and that will buy you time. They can't foreclose on your house if mandated by AG's office. That's all I can share for now. I hope you can save your homes. Good luck.
Neddy, the media is now on it, but Murdoch and company have tried as hard as they may to put a tight lid on it. I don't like to bring this all out in the open, but I know there are still many people in trouble so I want to help others and that is why I am coming forward with my story. I have many friends in the community from relationships I've built years ago. I know they are also supporting me on this and so I feel confident I will be able to save my home, but it's a very slippery slope and congress has been pushing back on these lenders hard now, because they realize we cannot jump start the economy if people are losing their homes and jobs. It will eventually effect our communities because they will become ghost towns. Businesses, schools, tax revenues will all be hit and they know it. Too much movement will create further chaos. No one is shopping anymore. Things have really slowed down and with the holiday season just around the corner?
Pay attention folks. Your future is going down the tubes rapidly.
Ned...when did I suggest "'Nam a Noble Enterprise?"
I served. When did I applaud?
"the media is now on it, but Murdoch and company have tried as hard as they may to put a tight lid on it"
How so? Example?
I know your a big follower of Benjamin Fulford, why hasn't he just released his 6 million Chinese Ninjas on the neo-cons?
I would like to interject for bitter, if she doesn't mind. First, I have to be honest with you--not knowing the extent of the allegations concerning ACORN and the supposed "embezzlement", which took place, I feel I can't give an adequate answer to the question you pose to bitter. But only to say, that this agency and the other which Bruce Marks is head of has been fighting vehemently to save homeowners from losing their homes. I do agree, however, that if people cannot afford their homes at a reasonable rate--5-6% (lowered principle, sales are low), they had no right to own them in the first place. Each story is unique. It's a very complex problem we have before us, but you must realize they intended it to be complicated, so we couldn't solve it.
If the employees did steal money claimed, they should absolutely be prosecuted. But I just find the entire incident rather hokey since the mission of these agencies has been to help homeowners. Bush's speech (link I listed here) boasted he wanted to make HOMEOWNERSHIP AFFORDABLE, hello Mav? Who's playing the shell game with lives?
Or NCN, on Broadside...
And I bet you ARE helping by coming forward.
I watched a clip of Michael Moore on Hannity's show, and he said that the FBI, which is investigating the mortgage issue, says that 80% of the blame goes to the predatory lenders and greedy banks.
Of course, Hannity kept insisting it was the buyer's fault.
Moore said that was like asking a rape victim, "Why did you wear that dress?"
Yeah.. they grow 'em good in Michigan!
But Ned is right...there is a divide in this country as wide as the Grand Canyon.
"Making nice" just won't cut it.
Read this, and you'll see he's not the nut-case you would like him to be.

BTW, you're question is answered there.
Why has cru answered for you?
Please tell us why Acorn should not be prosecuted.
Thanks
I read the above transcript that you suggested, now I believe Fulford is even more of a nut than I thought before.
Try googling "Fulford Rockefeller apology" and then you tell me this guys not crazy.
She's already been on NECN complaining that everybody lied to her when she took out her loan. Business as usual, take the money because it looks so easy and then complain that everyone lied to you. You signed, you are responsible. Did you really think that when the mortgage company/bank put IN WRITING that they could raise the interest rate after the described period that they wouldn't? Seriously? Nobody fault but your own. Took a big loan you knew you couldn't pay back. Now we all have to pay it off for you.
Great.
Well, that's how they got it to work, right? How about telling an injured driver that they should have watched out for the intoxicated motorist who just totaled their car and wasn't insured!
If you listened to the congressional hearing, as I did, CEO's from AIG had the audacity to admit to the panel of senators that these loans were not INSURED! They continued to lend money overseas (Holland was one) and also sunk many investors who had expected to receive very high returns from their bogus investments. When Greenspan adjusted the rates, everything tanked. Borrowers who qualified for the bad loans tried to refinance under the same terms (credit was the same, over 600 and no income changes) they were told NO, YOU CANNOT REFINANCE ON A FIXED RATE. When, in fact, they should have, but you see the lenders had already over extended themselves based on the inflated rates of 12% and up, so they were already losing millions. This was 2005! Five years ago, they were already in major trouble and tried to cover, buy selling more bad loans to people. Economic hardships were the BAIT.
Gold is up to $1000 an oz. Maybe you should re-invest. Could it reach $2000?
Please don't be angry with bitter.
Again, your life and her life are very different. Different struggles, but guess what, Mav? WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER. And there are good and bad in both parties. I had access to much information at the job I was just laid off from, but I cannot disclose details due to agreements of confidentiality. But I will say, that the tides have shifted heavily with regard to few that have massed enormous wealth and now colleges are focusing on the few who have acquired it, all by these ponzie schemes and schrewd investment strategies, all under the pretense of, "it's legal"...nothing about breaches of ethics and deceptive business practices. If they expect the average consumer to go back and shop, guess what? They better make some much needed changes in they way these loanharks do business in the market place, otherwise they can go pound sand!
May you continue to have a life of misery, you deserve. In other words--FOFF.
karent must be married to a Murdoch midget and collecting his retirement. Nice to have such an easy life. Like I said, may you have the misery you so easily dole out to those with problems that have been created by the thugs on Wallstreet. At some point, in everyone's life, they get their own BAD KARMA. Have a blast.
The last thing anyone on the Cape wants to see is the Crusader making friends with the networks. You think I will take this sitting down? Think AGAIN.
It's tough when people try to mess with your life and you don't even know who they are, but can only speculate. The call from the CAPE to the local network was REAL. The reporter contacted me from work and told me about it. They had to have a conference with their boss and then called me back to say they were going to IGNORE any future calls from this certain individual from the CAPE who was obviously working on a personal vendetta against me. That was there words, not mine. So you tell me?
So far, my daughter and bitter's both had near fatal car accidents just months apart resulting in totaled cars. I lost my home on the Cape due to a deadbeat Eastham fireman who deliberately tried to take my home away by not paying rent, aka squatter and trashing the yard with garbage, broken vehicles and new ATV's in the back ???
I got no support from the sheriff's dept., local police or court system. My lawyer told me to drop it because it would not be worth my effort to pursue. I later found he lost his job, so KARMA WORKED. Agency can't understand why..
Tell me this is just all a streak of bad luck, then you go and find others who have written, followed that story as closely and exposed just as much. How many home computers have been assaulted, tampered with, ruined by viruses? Too many similarities to dismiss. All have money issues. Deliberate and malicious acts of vengeance due to the exposure of that case.
Go ask them how their life has been for the past 8 years. What do you think their answer will be? I'm not planning to stop until my life is back to normal. There are plenty who know, so if you ever read about my kayak turning over on some pond, make a phone call to the FBI, maybe someone on the other end will already know.
It's already being worked on and it's a private matter. You want to know who they are, you will have to check back when the story goes public. None of this is a joking matter, it is very serious. It has to be done at a higher level, isn't that obvious. No two bit scumbag would have the brains, manpower, connections or resources to pull this off. Why do you think I have enlisted support from some of daddy's old friends, politicians, and some trusted friends in law enforcement. Tides will be turning, but it is an uphill battle. They have screwed a lot of people up for what they have done. Exactly how many and to what extent, we may never know? Many have chosen to move out of state, but not me. I'm digging in and fighting until the very end. One way, or the other, it will come out. If anyone is interested--"Legends of Winter Hill", it was out in 2006, Boston Globe writer. I know the people the story is based on. I'm a personal friend, we once worked together. I didn't even know the book was out, and got reacquainted. They are real heros and extraordinary people who care.
All in my head, huh? Well isn't that a typical response from a Truro resident who has a vested interest. I mean, let's face it, nobody in that town wants more bad publicity. Just think what it will do to million dollar property values. What will Mr. Brown and Claire Carroll do then? Oh, the horror. Isn't that what this is really about? Saving reputations, maintaining an idyllic image of the place without free basing and heroin overdoses, just keep the focus on blue herons and fiddler crabs. Got it.
Maybe karen is a relative of the W clan, or maybe she's Flook! EEEEEEK, OMG, that would be hilarious. So tell us karen, Maria, or whoever you are, what was it like having the DA after you? Did you really run out of the Xavier church crying after being humiliated by a crowd of rogue lawyers while being escorted by the famous DA? So what are writing about now? Buddy Cianci? Or did they toss you out of RI, too? Some people never do get over themselves, I suppose. You really looked like you were having major issues in the courthouse, in the balcony, remember? Sitting on the floor with your legs up to your chin, head in hands, squirming like you were waiting for the serpents to spring up on you at any moment. Hopefully by now you have changed your shade of joker face lipstick to something more subtle to the eye, and that perfume..cough, cough..nearly drove us all to the bathroom to vomit.

Goodnight, Neddy. "the worlds a better place when it's upside-down"....right side up is just such a freakin' disaster.
Tell me what they should be prosecuted for!! I told you, I know nothing about it.
FULFORD: People work for money, and they control the money. That's how they control the society. People who say the wrong things get fired, or killed, or marginalized. Or, invited in. That's how they control. It's through money.
We have to remember - these people are scared. They are being threatened with murder at the highest levels - people like Edward Kennedy. These people, they killed General Patton, they killed the Kennedys, they killed Martin Luther King. They murder.
Most decent people who want to go into politics think about making people's lives better. They don't know how to deal with a gang of murderers - especially a very old, sophisticated group of gangsters."
Makes perfect sense to me.
And crusader is right on the money!
The guy who smashed my daughter is a known drug dealer, was bailed out of jail and has "dissappeared"
You forgot to mention both cars were registered in OUR names, not our daughters. Who had access? State workers, PI's, rogue cops, those connected...to what, some underground bullshit force who is paid to make other people's lives miserable? Someone among us has already set the wheel spinning and begun the massive climb to top law enforcers in DC. Along the way, this person has been stonewalled and made to feel like they are also making things up, but it's been captured on surveillance, testimonies from other family members who have also had their lives dismantled in one way or the other.
We know that Busby had to cross the country after his terrible tragedy that left him permanently disabled and he and his family are probably still trying to have a normal life. So where are all the honest watch dogs we call our civil servants. Who do the Bartolini Brothers work for, are associated with? At this point, I don't give a shit anymore about that house, or about missing the Cape. The Cape as I once knew it, is gone forever. Now, I only see a place that is riddled with the dogshit.
Remember that other site? CCSlimes and their pack of rat posters, all the slanderous, hateful comments addressed to us for months? Well, I have a feeling that's being closely looked at now as well. Someone turned up the flames. I had been there for a few years and monitored often. Some of the newer posters I believe were "good guys" who are trying to finally picking away. One poster was especially interested. Their comments, "she saw something by the attic window...there are so many people involved in that case, you can shake a stick at....some who I worked with still believe there are people of interest in that story". And another said that they were once on the trail of another awful story about woman who went missing after being supposedly dropped on a highway. Her husband had access to an incinerator. This person who shared claimed to be a former PI who worked on the case. I heard about the case through another person who followed that story, so there are a number of people who have been coming out over the years. One was a reporter who followed the woman from JP.
As Jerry Fletcher said, “ I'm only paranoid because they want me dead, a good conspiracy is improvable, I mean, if you can prove it, it means they screwed up somewhere along the line.”
I think some of Dr. Jonas’ ”Gravy for the brain” might be in order.
Well, obviously the Cape has been home to quite a many strange individuals to say the least. I didn't realize to what extent until recently, now that I can look at it from a distance and what others have added since I've left. I guess it's been their playground all along. It's too bad they can't learn to play nice with the others. And the men who kill their wives and girlfriends get to have a free ride every time. You know what "there isn't enough evidence to convict", really means? Deep pockets just became full once again. Is that how little we value a woman's life? Sad, very sad.
I've become immune to the vicious comments as an attempt to make me go away so you don't have to be reminded of what's been swept under the sand carpet, time after time, just to keep appearances up.
What would the prospective homeowners have to say?
Mr. & Mrs. Palto Alto: "Wasn't this the area of those grizzly murders? Oops, sorry, got to go. Think we will be buying elsewhere".
Scrappy realtor: "oh, but look at those cute fiddler crabs".
Mr. & Mrs. Palto Alto: "Sorry, we don't like to live among free basing heroin addicts, drug lords and murdering thugs. But thanks anyway".
Realtor's boss: "Damn it Harry, I told you not to bring them to that neighborhood. That crazy broad on the web is still pounding out those damn stories".
And just so you can reset your stop clock and inflated ego back to zero--I really don't give a damn which Peter you are, frankly. One more insulting jerk on the blogsphere really doesn't matter to me, one way or the other. So far, Peter 1 and 2 are not impressive and you are actually worse than they are because your comments are beyond BORING.
Dog
I was merely commenting to the author of this blog how he has had his original thought hi-jacked and how it is now so far off topic one would require a GPS to find the original theme. I don’t recall mentioning you by name but as you have such a dire need for everything to be “all about crusader”, 18 hrs, 35 posts, 1 thread, with less than seven hours before resuming a rant that few care about and where most probably wish they could access an ignore button.
Delusional disorders are fixed beliefs that are certainly and definitely false, but that could possibly be plausible, for example, someone who thinks "he or she is under police surveillance".
Indicators of a delusion:
The subject expresses an idea or belief with unusual persistence or force. (35 posts)
That idea appears to exert an undue influence on his or her life, and the way of life is often altered to an inexplicable extent. (18 hrs)
Despite his/her profound conviction, there is present a quality of secretiveness when questioned about it, often with irritability and hostility.
The mere fact that our town officials can and will wipe out e-mails at their own private discretion is just one example of how we have all been held up, all in the name of foreign terrorism, when it's been here at home the entire time.
DEAD. How about your own Leo Damore and his books on the Kennedy men, Senatorial Privilege, In His Garden about the buried bodies in Truro. Supposedly, Tony Costa acted alone, too, but Damore mentions the underground drug world. His last manuscript was about Mary Meyer who was married to a guy in the CIA. She ended up with a bullet in the head, and so did Leo. Just all a bunch of crazy psychos. That's how everyone gets to sleep at night. Rest easy, little junior. None of that stuff is true, so stop asking a lot of questions. We must all go along to get along and if someone dies because they don't like it and dare to speak out, well it's just tough luck for them.
If you want to compose mythical like narratives akin to the resident moonbats:
1) pick some random words and phrases from a children’s book
2) add a couple of entries from a few sci-fi novels
3) have your cat run across the keyboard for good measure
Fostering a persecution complex is also believed to be helpful and it is whispered among the true believers that donning some Reynolds Wrap and setting up in the basement is the safest place to avoid the effects of Gamma-rays.
"...There’s a red, under my bed.
And there’s a little green man in my head.
And he said, you’re not goin crazy, you’re just a bit sad
cause there’s a man in ya, knawin’ ya, tearin’ ya into two.
Paranoia, big destroyer..."
Footnote:
The character sequence NYC in [Microsoft]Webdings was originally rendered as the skull and crossbones symbol, the Star of David, and a thumbs up gesture, now it is an eyeball, a heart and a city skyline.
What more evidence could one possibly need?
That would be fine if it were only I who is stating the facts. There are approximately 10 other individuals who all feel the same way, have had their lives disrupted, terrorized by some "unknown" individuals. Isn't that why they bring them out on parole? Ask the the PI's who have been hired to investigate. Similarities are trash companies and parolees.
I've already taken many psychology classes and know the disorders, but I'm afraid the island is plagued with many you and Buzz point out. That is why you have an ongoing shortage of shrinks and crisis of under serviced facilities to help people. Problems of drug addiction, alcohol, unemployment, divorce, domestic violence, spike in crime rates--I suppose that is all someone's delusion working over time as well? Good try. Just easier label people as "crazy". I wonder if Wellfleet doc who is out west would ever come back to tell his story. How about the Medical Examiner who flew out to Florida with his "undetermined illness", only to set up shop again in the sunshine state. HA, okay.
Please don't disparage the moonbats, it's the only thing that keeps me coming back to this site.
If they leave, then I'll be forced to "pay" for the entertainment I'm now enjoying for free.
Capn'n I asked you IF 'Nam was a Noble Enterprise OR NOT... As I did a year&a half ago. Still waiting for a simple yes or no on that conundrum. 'Nam's what made HALF OF ALL AMERICANS, and counting, into Moonbats. HALF OF ALL AMERICANS are your 'Problematic Residents'. As for FoxNews' credibility, http://www.relfe.com/media_can_legally_lie.html "In February 2003, a Florida Court of Appeals unanimously agreed with an assertion by FOX News that there is no rule against distorting or falsifying the news in the United States"... Murdoch DID THIS to America! If you've gotten a court to let you legally lie... why EVER bother to tell the truth again?
How so? Example?' (raises hand)buzz! Turn off the lights in your study tonite; then admire your reflection in the glass of your monitor. I will at that moment have provided you with your example.
Danny Casolaro: suicide-wrists slashed 10-12 times
Leo Damore: suicide-self inflicted gunshot wound
Or it could have been perpetrated and then covered up by the DA's, the parolees, the garbage men, the "they and thems" you refer to, the PIs, the dirty cops, the novelists, the posters named Peter or some "unknown" individuals. I'm not sure I'd trust that Walker guy either.
Come to think of it, you rarely see Ned without a hat on even thought he has a full head of hair, more than a little suspicious if you ask me.
Could he be sending out signals to "them"?
Ned,
Your response,”…Turn off the lights in your study tonight; then admire your reflection in the glass of your monitor...”, takes me back to a scene long ago in a far away land…
The muffin man is seated at the table in the laboratory of the Utility Muffin Research Kitchen...
Reaching for an over sized chrome spoon he gathers an intimate quantity of dried muffin remnants and brushing his scapular aside, proceeds to dump these inside of his shirt...
Turning to us he speaks: "Some people like cupcakes better, I for one care less for them!"
Arrogantly twisting the sterile canvas snoot of a fully charged icing anointment utensil he poots forth a quarter-ounce green rosette near the summit of a danse but radiant muffin of his own design.
Later he says: "Some people like cupcakes exclusively, while I myself, say there is naught nor ought there be anything so exalted on the face of Gods great earth as that prince of foods... the muffin!"
Proof of the evil muffin movement conspiring against the noble cupcake alliance.
Goodnight Austin Texas, where ever you are.
Odd though, that you mention Mahler....the evil ones at the other site used to do just the same.
Coincidence?
No such thing. So why all the name changes?
And, "resuming a rant that few care about". You're dead wrong about that.
It's really the only thing that matters.
Huh??
Did you play for the Celtics at one time??
Standing by,
Dawg
Sure he did this alone. Give me a break. I worked in healthcare. The guy would be dead by pill number 20, ask any ER doc.
"Danny Casolaro: suicide-wrists slashed 10-12 times
Leo Damore: suicide-self inflicted gunshot wound"...
Only 10-12 times? Are you sure it wasn't 50-100. Again, impossible. He'd be out on the first few slashes. Read the book. He also discovered a number of misdeeds by our wonderful govt., as Abbey. So, how does it work exactly in the world of honest, straight-forward journalism? You write for some lame paper that only lets you print to a certain extent, then they pull the plug if the story gets too hot & rattles a few too many political cages. I get it, that's why many newsworthy stories never go to print. Phone calls are made, deals are struck. Tit for Tat & they call it freedom of speech. Anything they don't like suddenly gets labeled a conspiracy theory. But if everyone who writes an alternative view gets labeled a nutcase, why do people want to force them into silence? standing by....
Why not 10 gunshots to the head & call it death by natural causes. That's just as bad as the dude who killed himself by kayak a few years back & you never would guess who showed up to the event. A suicide note was found, that old standby. Another story dead in the water, all puns intended. How exactly does one commit suicide by way of kayak anyway? They could at least show us a reenactment. Maybe one of our noble members of law enforcement could explain. Isn't there a buoyancy factor involved? They are getting more & more creative. How about those rip tides off the coast? Know anymore criminal lawyers investigating rogue cops who mysteriously drowned lately? It seems every time those words, "this case is being investigated by the Cape & Islands DA office", are mentioned, you just don't get that warm fuzzy feeling. Know what I mean, jelly bean? Or how about the clerk of courts. Now that was a long shot. They had to turn that one over too, because no DA up here would touch that one with a 100 foot fishing pole. standing by....
"labeled a nutcase,
why do people want to force them into silence?"
If it wasn't so downright serious issue, it would be completely laughable. The fact they actually get people to believe this bull is astounding. Anyone would average intelligence can see right through it. And the more cases you read about, the worse it gets. I personally knew the lawyer who "drowned" and it was no swimming accident. The papers wrote he had a heart attack, but that wasn't true either. He was a good guy who had many friends and I'm sure will be missed, just as much as the other victims who have not had any real justice, or the families who have advocated for them.
I'd bet he also understands what Camirillo Brillo and Mendicino Beano refer to.
Why all the name changes, you ask. Paranoia that “they” are out to get me because I didn’t contribute to “them” at flag@government.org and now not even Chris (pissing on some poor girls leg, shame on him) Morris with his “m2” non-lethal weapons can save me. Soon I will change it back to Peter or maybe even Peter Walker and give them the slip.
(oops did I just say that out loud?)
Actually I just made that up, obviously you weren’t paying attention earlier.
Never called anyone crazy either, just like Mickey said about Minnie during his divorce proceedings,”Your Honor I never said she was nuts, I said she was f#ck*ng Goofy.”
Mahler-esque is an “adjective” relating to incoherent ramblings, kinda like this. Any more question Zippy?
Editors note, a complete sentence needs only two elements, a subject - predicate unit (that's a noun and verb to you) and a complete thought. Even Dan "potato(e)" Quale writes above an eighth grade level. Try it.
Maybe you are also a friend of the popular DA? Perhaps another die-hard rep male brat who just can't seem to deal with a dem woman blogger who can keep up. Sorry to make you burn so many over used brain cells. Will you be dining with the flea bitten scoundrel & stop at Luke's for a sixpack?
Facts remain: There are too many murdered women, unexplained suicides, lack of thorough investigations for anyone to feel that your members of law enforcement are actually doing the job they are paid to do by the taxpayers. People's lives have suffered greatly due to their inept negligence.
You want to ridicule my opinions, go ahead, but the stories speak for themselves. The senatorial race is heating up, there are plenty of voters speaking out about the lack of judicial oversight w/ regard to the AG & her less than stellar record of service.
And don't call me Zippy, got it? Walker-Stalker.
Here's something entertaining for any patriotic American who can't seem to recognize America anymore: it's no wonder there's no justice around here.
"Lost Bill Moyers Documentary The Secret Government 1987 P1"
Shame on me for giving a damn. Maybe I should instead focus my attention on massing millions so I can just screw the little guy & gal, like Murdoch & China bride. Isn't that what most people admire most? How many zero's follow their portfolio's? It seems to be more important, than human life, by all dictating accounts. Well, if that is how low our society has sunk, than I would rather live a Bohemian lifestyle. You just never know what path life takes you. I will never fall from my convictions as others so cavalier and without conscience.
You always call it as you see it.
For that alone, my hat's off to you.
At least you don't constantly blame bush for everything..
like "the devil made me do it"
possee
With stoutest wrists and loudest boasts,
She thrusts her fist against the posts
And still insists she sees the ghosts.
Cru,I wasn't referring to you. As hard as it may be for you to believe, you are not the only one in this room.
Walker-Stalker Zippy? Did you come up with that witty retort on your own or did your Mom help?
I see you maintaining the sludge at the political swamps. I know it's not all on Bush, but you must admit, he had a big hand in this fiscal meltdown. His own party blames him for this disaster. It's taken me a while to realize that both parties are just one in the same, but I do try to vote on the individual. I was registered an independent once and have voted on a republican ticket maybe once. But I am a registered democrat once again. My views still lean towards the left because I've seen and experienced too much from the right, personally and professionally to reconsider. The working class only have a fighting chance with the democrats. The republican's don't give a damn about us, not really. Maybe a few here and there, that's it. The majority are counting their billions with Harvard's Business Grad's in the Cayman banks, along with the gangster-banksters they put in power. I wish there were more choices, but this is the hand the American people have been dealt. And we have our politicians and banksters to thank for creating people like Murdoch and selling out to China.
You have mistaken me for bittesweet. I didn't refer to you as a "stalker", but you're getting there.
"WHERE's MARTHA ?..Martha has refused to investigate/prosecute any corruption issue involving public officials, public employees, unions, corporations, or anyone else who might be a potential supporter. She's the worst kind of political hack there is, the worst lamest, seat-warming AG we've had in memory. She'll delay doing anything..as long as possible, then the investigation, depositions, requests, etc, will all take months to complete"..
"feds should get involved...i have written 15 letters to fifteen different people at the us dept of justice. to the us attorney general. to the deputy attorney general. to the assistant attorney general to the deputy attorney general. to the assistant attorney to the deputy attorney general. to the assistant attorney general. to the us chairman of the freedom of information act and to eleven others with big titles. martha coakley has clearly shown us that she will not do her job".

Why do you continue to address me with your insults & failing attempts at discrediting me? Are you doing this for someone who lacks testicular fortitude, women included. I've met more women that somehow missed the chromosome who should be wearing a beard so we feminine types can see them coming a mile away.
I apply daily on line for jobs, but with over 8 million out of work, the resume pile must be occupying a large portion of the desk. Not that it's any of your damn business. What do you do all day? Do you work? Or does your elderly man of the house pay all your bills? Funny, how the focus remains on me, but you don't bother to share with the readers who you are and how to come to your hateful conclusions, when we haven't even met. Somehow I think you must have a vested interest. Friends with that deadbeat writer? Which one? Well, you do seem to have more than your share up there in idyllic wasteland. Staffing agency said my former employer saw my resume, wanted me to come back, work as a temp. I told them I would only come back perm/full-time only. Not losing my benefits!
That comment really dates you karen. Sounds like you never got over the bridge.
Things are not like the Cape up here in Boston. We have to prove our computer expertise by applying on line. You must know how to navigate through the companies sophisticated websites. I was a finalist at BU just last week, but I'm sure it was my salary that they had a problem with, on a separate interview across campus, I was told my job now pays 15k less at their college. They asked for references so I knew I was close. They are always looking for the over-qualified grads who are still living at home with mom and dad. I have bills to pay, like everyone else. I drive a car that I bought with cash, used. It was one of the wisest purchases I made. I refuse to have a car payment, even if I someday can afford one. I cannot afford to take a job for less. They don't want to pay us unemployment. Tough shit. We didn't ask for the layoff. They made bad investments! NOW WE PAY!
cru, since you weren't the author of this tripe, I obviously wasn't referring to you. I’ve never criticized your style, structure, grammar or spelling nor would I call you Zippy, Misery perhaps but never Zippy.
My apologies for the confusion.
Now back to Zippy.
In the journalistic world it is believed that a well-written sentence can be as powerful as a 20-minute sermon, but what do I know?
Back on topic, why do rich old guys have hot young wives? Because they can.
Looks like that beard is showing..
"This site isn't for making friends and discussing who we are". --I can see you've made so many.
"It's for discussing the topics in here at hand".--TOPIC is about the VIOLATION of our RIGHTS by Censoring freedom of speech, that includes corruption of govt. officials & censoring/discrediting bloggers who know otherwise.
It would be nice to just live on an island and pretend there are no problems in the world. That's what many of you do there on the Cape, just as possee wrote once--caring for your manicured lawns. BTW, how many businesses on the Cape are now suffering due to the rich cutting their budgets. Do you realize how many people in this country have lost massive amounts of their 401k due to the unethical, illegal practices on Wallstreet? I guess it's okay when the loans harks have their MBA from Harvard and Yale. It doesn't make them petty theives, like those who have taken the wrong path because their childhoods sucked. I've seen it all karen, unlike you who live behind your white picket fence in the not-so-perfect town of Truro.
*****
Walker, "Back on topic, why do rich old guys have hot young wives? Because they can".-- I'm certain one of your brainiac shrinks would have a much better explanation--
Men have a harder time accepting their age & they are worse than women when it comes to bragging about their conquests, hence the neon sign, aka trophy wife on the arm for any man over the age of 60 who is jealous of Murdoch. Don't be, he's probably not getting laid as much as you think. I'm guessing in her culture it's more widely accepted to marry a much older man. But I do believe without a doubt, they are only married as an arrangement to further their economic global interests & countries $ relations. Universities cannot tap into the vast wealth in China because they have strict laws against it. Now, maybe with Geisha-girl by his side, they can somehow loosen their purse strings.
We can't all be as perrrrrfect as karen you know and go through life without so much as a bump in the road. I bet she's friend's or a realtive of Flook, or maybe it's one of the other, same rotten better-than-thou stinking attitudes. They should hang a sign at the edge of town so they can warn people: "Enter at Your Own Risk", or better yet, just get to the point, "Only Celebrities & Successfully Pompous are Welcome, all others turn around and lodge or buy in Hyannis".
About the punchbowl--Well, that depends which way you want to look at it, whether it's karen's punch bowl or mine. Or my ashtray or hers.
I'd prefer my bowl spiked with rum, but I think her's is always filled with sour grapes.
I wouldn't throw ashes in her punchbowl, but I'm betting she'd do that to mine.
I'm the in your face kinda gal--She'd be wearing her punchbowl.
The Nedster posts in mysterious ways.
Well, the whole world could be transformed if we just followed one sentence: Do onto others as you would have them do onto you.
Surely, if Americans knew what Murdoch and the rest of them were up to, we wouldn't give those creeps a penny, or the time of day.
And possee...you got it half right.....
The Devil made George Bush do it!
Took your advice, the only reflection I got was that of "Christmas Present". Is there a Hongqi V12 in my future?
They can't discredit my content, so they must take cheap shots on the way I write. Their elitist attitudes are so transparent. Maybe they should live in gated communities, that way, they can be overly critical with their neighbors who no doubt have the same intolerable character as they do. That is what is going on now with the rich. They are fighting each other for the top tier. It wasn't enough, they sunk Wallstreet and stole our 401k's. A book called, "Richitan", (maybe one Pooristan will explain how they lost it all) describes how having just a few million is considered to be poor among the filthy rich. Good, maybe they will eat each other up, no better news for the working class. The snob way, just like karen attempting to tell me that she must now pay my mortgage. I will be paying it myself for over 30 years. But she failed to mention how she feels about the CEO's who took the bailout money WE PAID FOR. That's okay, they are more worthy than the working class who are undeserving, right? Our crimes, or mistakes are always inflated compared to the rich-privileged.
Is it possible to "discredit" content when the content has no credibility in the first place?
This is not just about me, this is about all the people who deserve to have their lives restored.
If the public knew how the working class are being treated, there would riots in the streets. Many would scramble, move away to easier lifestyles & start again leaving towns desolate. I've been working with people in agencies supporting homeowners & have contacted my congressman's office weekly to provide updates.
What many are not being told, is the lenders made up their own laws & defrauded millions, even overseas.
So the entire world is wrong except Wallstreet, is that it?
They want us to assume all the responsibility & walk away.
This was an act of terrorism on the working class to destroy our financial freedom. That's really what this is about. And they are handing over foreclosed homes to investors at warp speed, who will sit on them & make profits later. They are not selling to "qualified" owners, as promised. A lawyer from Hale & Dorr shared this with me. More deception.
Please don't start with me this early in the day. I haven't had my coffee yet.
Believe what you only want to, Buzz, that way the pines out back will always look the same as they ever did and the box turtle who crosses your path as you walk out the door may surprise you and wave good-bye, heading for greener pastures.
My pastures are greener than you can imagine. Not littered with broken promises, failed efforts and too many excuses to name.... why is it always someone else's fault? Banks, boyfriend's, bosses, attorneys, corporations, presidents, police, LE, fireman.... blah, blah. Does there ever come a time when you stop and think.... "hey, maybe it's me"?
Sorry, had my coffee.
Maybe you should chew on this for a while as you lust after the Chinese princess, while envying Murdoch's massive wealth. Maybe his profit margin is steadily increasing, but what else does a man over 60 have that isn't, without the use of Viagra.
The book, Richistan was required reading for some in our office. The reviews give you an idea just how widespread a problem greed has become.
"The goal of wealth is satisfaction. Are Richistanis happier than the rest of us? The book finds - No. In fact 10% of millionaires, and 16% of women millionaires are less happy with wealth than they were without it. Problems are many: disagreements of all sorts including among Richistani parents and their aristokids. Many relationships are functions of wealth, and as it turns out love is still important, but the intersection between it and wealth is confounding. Just as money cannot buy love (happiness), so too love cannot buy money".
http://www.amazon.com/Richistan-Journey-Through-American-Wealth/product-reviews/0307339262/ref=cm_cr_pr_link_2?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=0&pageNumber=2
Here's a excerpt from a review on the same book, having you in mind, just as an FYI:
"As in many cities in America the new money is most evident in the McMansions that have sprung up. (as some people call it, "Vulgaria")....
Frank does a comprehensive job in explaining how the rich live, but it is of note that so many Richistanis, when asked if they have enough money, say "no".....
If you have $20 million you think you need $40 million.
He offers another excellent chapter on how many of the rich aren't any happier with all their money, with many of them being more miserable.
But his best point is that the super-rich have created a class unto themselves, and towns like Greenwich, which has a sustainable middle class, will itself, in the future, become even more separated between rich and poor. It's a sobering look..... it's a terrific exposé and an eye-opener as well". (amazon.com review of Richistan)
Isn't that what's great about America? If you want to build a McMansion you can... If you want to live in a 3 decker in Somerville... you can?
Who builds those McMansions? Who maintains them, sells them furniture, does the landscaping, provide insurance, does the painting? American workers, they are providing jobs for the middle class.
Steve Jobs from Apple is quiet wealthy, he got that way being competitive, shrewd businessman. The kind of person you apparently loath. Did you know that just the Ipod alone has created 14,000 jobs in the US alone? Outside the US another 28,000? People working, providing for their families... all because one man had an idea and got filthy rich from it.
You must be related to karen--two people equally clueless of real world struggles. Do you relish misfortunes of others? It's so typical--gleam within when other people are having a hard time because it makes your life seem so much better.
Too often times than not, those are the people whose lives really SUCK, because they are without real back bone to get out into the world and take a chance, experience life to its fullest. Their world is beyond dull and empty.
Some of us have been raised to believe that everyone is as honest as we are, and in many cases, our ass*ole detector doesn't work.
Each of us has been raised with a certain belief system, right or wrong, our failures of life experience provide us a world of wisdom. For that I am truly grateful. I'd rather deal with these issues than be surrounded by people who are without compassion, harbor contempt for those they can't possibly comprehend. To give back is really the key to happiness and throughout it all, I'm sure I will come out on top as I always have in the past. We don't always have control over our destinies.
You don't have a clue. People are being replaced by technology. Why do you think my job was cut? They are finding new ways everyday to do without the workers. Those jobs you mention, they will be wiped out. The rich won't need any of those people because they will hire their own personal armies to maintain their lives. You are still living in decades past. They won't tell you what they are planning, they will just do it. If you haven't massed millions/billions so you can stay on the treadmill lined with gold, you are out of the race. The reason I'm sharing so much is that I want people to prepare since I just happen to be a person who really cares about humanity. These are very scary times upon us and I'm no alarmist. I worked in a place that allowed me access to information that scared the crap out of me. What do you think happens when powerfully corrupt people mass billions of dollars? You think they are standing on the street corners just waiting for your lawn companies to show up? Many more businesses will fail if our government doesn't put the brakes on them fast. WAKE UP
Betty Boop>King Syndicate>Hearst>William Randolph Hearst>New York Journal>Yellow Journalism...the lichi dosen't fall far from the tree, we all have our crosses to bear.
What are the chances Cape Cod will soon become another Nantucket? If you keep letting them in, they will eventually drive out all the locals. It happened in Somerville. The progressives came to town, buying up properties, starting new businesses, driving up our tax rates, getting into politics, pushing people out and now they own the politicians who remain. They dictate what services get paid and what doesn't get paid. They want politicians to spend over $5mil. for new bike paths, when our other services have been wiped out. Is that what you want the Cape to look like? Families and elderly in our communities have been forced out. They thought they took the easier road by selling out at high prices back in the 90's when they overly inflated our appraisals. That did two things--got people to leave, and forced those who remained to take out big mortgages to sustain their investments in order to keep up. You think I could rent a sh*thole to a yuppie? Forget it. They will move in and tell you what to do, just like they do here. And if you don't like it, tough-they bought the town.
What office is that cru? The one in your mothers basement next to bitters?
Well, I'm off to South Beach to have lunch with my son who has a job and works in a real office, then a little overnight fishing trip in the Keys. No Luke's down here so we'll get the beer @ Big Daddy's.
Life is good.
86' air temp / 70% humidity, sun is shining birds are chirping, sorry to hear about yours.
Southeast winds 5-10 kts., Seas 2 ft or less and the "ever so slight chance" of showers.
Chew on that Misery.
Did you just say that? Don't they already as I tried to explain to you? That's good for the economy... get a clue.
Cru notes Ms Deng comes from an Oriental country where "arranged" marriages are part of the cultural history. So? Any close look at the super-rich would likely show the "elder" men have women much younger then them on their arms, either a wife or pal, and being Oriental is not all that common. In any case, it's clearly not a "Geisha-girl at his side", as that would be Japanese, a distant place from China, especially culturally speaking.
Interesting how a photograph can spark so many comments.
http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2009/10/10/rare_books_from_china_to_be_digitized/
btw: Someone has attempted to send me a computer "worm", but my system took care of it.
I suppose that is a delusion, too. Strange how this happened just late last night while I was commenting, must just be another coincidence, like always.
Good Housekeeping, CosmoGIRL!, and Seventeen are published there."
Ned, what's a young girl suppose to do? Maybe it was CosmoGirl's "How to marry a media mogul!"
that did her in.
Sometimes a pay check is just a pay check... hey Ned?
Maybe they should all be taking Viagra and looking for their own Chinese hostess.
The politically correct term is "Asian", not "Oriental". It's considered an insult to the one you are addressing and improper to the other self appointed editors and elitists of the modern day society.
The rich will pick and choose who works for them. They can house their own help who will do all the work, and not be beholden to the Cape businesses as it is now. It may not happen today, but soon the wave will hit. Unless of course they want to live in better places around the world that are more spectacular, such as Qtar, the island of Mauritius, coast of South America (where Warren Buffet is already bought up tons of acreage for development) and whatever is left unspoiled of the Carribean.
Some individuals are far richer than entire countries. Do you comprehend how that plays out to the rest of us? They are not giving it back, they are shoveling it into their already enormous vaults stored in off-shore accounts--ALL UNTAXED MONEY, (karen condones)over $100 Billon, probably into the trillions by now. They are not donating to colleges or charities anymore. They have figured ways of buying up elsewhere and don't even need to live in this country anymore. They've already set up shop, outsourcing...hello? Technology makes it so they can be anywhere.
We've been down that road before. What impetus? Same as everyone else. High-fiver and will troll for food... you?
I'd relish divulging the identity of my previous employer because I know it will make a powerful impact on how they would be viewed by the public. Thousands of us laid off and not a word in the Murdoch rags. Many already dislike what they represent. Some of us learned, after we got there, others turn a blind eye. Universities are big business, like the corporations they feed from and have learned their wicked ways. Days are gone when they care about keeping an employee. Make room for technology--that's their only objective. But you know how it works, loose lips sink ships and right about now, my fleet is still maintaining a steady course without significant damage by unanticipated assaults of undetected terrorists we call heroes.
You can only be a beach bum for so long, even in sunny Florida. Eventually, everyone of us will be impacted in a negative way if this economy doesn't turn around. That you can count on.
If your intention's here are to place blame on the world around you so everyone will wallow in your misery... it's not working.
Your arguments are baseless and plain silly.... but I'm sure you already know that.
You should know by now that whatever you say to me has very little impact. Now, I'm beginning to realize you are a pathologically malicious, highly dysfunction person who gets his jollies off trying to belittle others while pretending your world is somehow better because you think it's easier. You must be bi-polar or a mood swinging drinker, the way you carry on with this Jekyll and Hyde performance of yours. Maybe you are doing damage control for your buddies who don't like hearing the sad truth of what goes on down there in fairy-tale land.
The very last thing I am looking for is sympathy from you or anyone else.
I'm sharing my story so that others will realize they are not getting the real news. What is happening to me, is also happening to millions of people across the country. Maybe some of the homeowners who are reading will stand and fight for their homes and not give up hope.
You think the billions of bailouts handed out to corporate CEO's was the right choice? They should have been made to fail, since for many, this wasn't their first time with their hand out!
Remember how this all started? Attacking CC and the fine people that live here. Then you went on to utopia... and rubbed it in our face. Here's some of what you said: "So much for being unemployable. I'm on my 3rd year, great pay w/benefits, promoted with two raises- job security. Can't say the same for that place."
Now, even there NO GOOD. Get my point? It always comes full circle.
I've maintained steady employment for over 25 yrs & continue to do the same, but I'm not working for a lousy $10 bucks an hour as a temp, left making a hell of a lot more w/benefits. You think my lender will just say, okay, no problem? I suppose somehow getting laid off is my fault as well? I have paid my taxes for a very long time, as every member of my family before me. We are a proud family who are law abiding citizens, who help friends and family when asked. I've volunteered my time to several organizations because I've been taught to give back--NOT TO TAKE, TAKE, TAKE, like I see on Wallstreet. Some of you are beyond stupid.
Hey bitter, remember BG's words, "only when it happens to you, do you care"...I was thinking about that just today. Well, you can take that line and apply to just about anything in life.
I see very little has changed with you. More venom, hate and envy for those who wish life could be simpler.
Karma comes back to everyone, Buzz. You'll see. The Cape is only getting worse, not better. How's the bridge going? I read of one more contractor waving bye-bye since the commute is such a b*tch. If he can make money in less time, why not go elsewhere? Your logic about issues is really off track. Is this all for drama effect on the blogs or are you really that hateful? Sad, too bad shelli can't be here again.
If the CEO's weren't filled with such greed and indifference to the rest of humanity, I would still have my job and be there until retirement. I had no reason to leave. Benefits and pay were better than any job I had on the Cape. That fact will always remain. Having 2-3 jobs that pay sh*t isn't exactly anyone's idea of living in paradise.
Keep up the mud slinging. It if makes you and other readers feel good, go ahead, have a blast.
Even with all I've endured, I can still have my sense of humor throughout. Maybe you should try to adapt some of Ana's philosophy.
Boy,that bugs me. Just like people who say "youngsters" and "so on and so forth".
Why are CC'ers any more fine than anyone else?
And why the need to say it all the time?
If you look up fine in the dictionary, it won't mention Cape Cod.
Like always saying we're the best, we're the best...what is that?
And here you let an Australian citizen buy up all your American companies!
Starting back in the 70's-- warning signs....Japan buying all the banks in California.
Now you see all the pop stars doing concerts over there, and commercials....
And of course China, but that was our fault, for letting it happen.
And don't forget Israel....who many people say owns our gvt., and directs our foreign policy.
I'm only third generation here, and from my grandparents, to parents, to now is like a sea-change.
It's a damn shame too....
Too bad no one ever thinks to protest the selling-out of America.
But where would you start?
And the people who just glom it on as if they are immune.
I'm sorry this has happened to you, but remember the story of those housekeepers last month?
Same thing....the hotel tried to give them temp jobs to make up for firing them to hire cheaper labor.
And they said up yours! We want our jobs back with full pay and benefits!
You are doing the right thing by sticking it out.
But if they have their way, the job you're looking for won't exist.
And I'm sorry, but there has to be some blame to the other people who will take those jobs at a lower rate. Workers have to stick together somehow.....
Because I sees something real nefarious and slimy going on here.
Some of the International Workers are set up like a hierarchy...they find each other jobs.
They don't fill out application, don't go through the hoops (credit-checks, calls to former employers, etc.) They just have a friend that knows a friend, and they end up with all the available jobs in town.
And it's really angering to hear what people say about American workers.
Loyalty, to what? $
Cape Codders aren't any better than anyone else (although many people will tell you there just any better place to live) my point is, it's no worse either like cru would like to have you think.
Most people that can't make it here pack up and move on with their life, cru just can't do that. That's sad.. that's all. Now, she resorts to name calling because she's challenged on her ridiculous, unsubstantiated arguments.
Complaints I made of the Cape, how some people treat newcomers is no exaggeration. Retiree's & rich don't have to experience. One guy I worked for, owns a boat businesses, admitted that some Cape lawyers really do steal the elderly blind. He's right, I worked for the ones who did & worse. Few choices, slave factories except a few, & low pay, without benefits. No wonder crime is out of control. I've met a few good souls, but for the most part, I met more with warped egos, sense of entitlement because they all live on an island. I don't get the fascination, or how that makes some feel they are somehow above everyone else. Suffer from Celebrity Syndrome. People are not treated that way in the city. Not perfect here either, they are not, but if someone is asked where they are from, no one holds it against them. We are more accepting of people's backgrounds, political, religious affiliations--many on the Cape are not. I witnessed co-owners stealing from one another & clients in the workplace, right there on good ole' Cape Cod. Should I have gone along with it? Hell no!
I know I'm doing my part by sharing with my local politicians who are working for the middle class. I've also shared this with my lawyer and agencies I'm working with, plus some of the reporters I've been interviewing with about the mortgage crisis. It all ties in with everything else. If we don't have jobs, that is the other straw that will break the middle class down. They will not be happy until we are all in the poor house. How do you think your communities will bear the brunt of it when jobs are wiped out? With that, comes another wave of foreclosed homes. Eventually, if times get bad enough, social security will be gone and so will pensions. Then what? We all live in tents? Maybe that's when they breakout the artillery for crowd control. Some of this is already going on now, but where is Murdoch and his news crew?
I stressed this to my local politicians--"Ask the local university presidents why they just dumped over 5,000 of your constituents into the unemployment lines. How will this effect the way we purchase goods and services in these same communities." Dominos.
This guy from another country has now been working here 2 years...and guess what?
He wants more money! He wants better pay, thinks he deserves it. And now he's in the position we are in....take what the owner gives you or move on. Because there are 30 men where he came from waiting in line to take his job!
Plus, as a side note, he now has a beer-belly, and can't tolerate the food from his home country anymore...
BUT...he says if he loses this job, he can EASILY find another one.
Can YOU say that?
I know I can't....even a menial entry level one.
Strange if you ask me. And is it a secret agreement between certain businesses and certain countries?
Well, hang in there crusader! And I for one hope your story gets a lot of press.
Just found this:

I know you have a soft spot for Ted, and I have to admit, I do as well since my parents loved him, dad from the 20's w/ the old crew, Curley and McKenna. But I had to share this comment, that is off the same site, that only you could appreciate--LOL!
"Chappaquiddick is Obama's fault, and he should be thrown in jail for life".
So, back to topic: What do you think is next on the agenda for the US economy? What's the word? Is our situation improving or not? Since Murdoch won't let the cat outta the bag, I'm curious what you predict. Are you still getting your news from NPR or elsewhere?
Do you read this site?

Hey bitter,
What are some of the sites that "romaneagle" use to list on the discussion forums, do you recall? Was it something like...Global Institute. It was a good site. I can't find it and don't recall what the name of it is..thanks.

A deliberate attempt to force millions out of their homes, now dependent on big brother, while the investors scoop up homes at a bargain negotiated with the banks..a well planned subversion at the expense of the working class.
and deliberate.

All, nearly all, politicians are lawyers ..

it's a collusion with washington and wall street.

karen complains that the homeowners who signed the fraudulent loans are going to cost the taxpayers for this recovery. But it was deliberately done to the elderly before they hit minorities & middle class. Madoff was the poster child. Well, guess what-I got a news flash for you--I know someone who just paid a bundle for a wedding on CC guess who he works for? AIG, so maybe I don't like the fact that my taxes which are paying for their undeserved bailout has just been used to pay for a lavish wedding!
I've even had reporters at my house telling me they also bought into these loans and are still fighting for their homes. A reporter from CNN admitted this was the first time they have been able to get the word out, since the Obama plan, but they obviously continue to block them. Must be Murdoch.
A lawyer from Hale-Dorr told me that the banks couldn't wait to take these homes back. They sold them off to other banks for over $100k or more less than the original loan. Now we know they have defrauded the American people-if they were willing to take up to $100k hit on the original loan, many homeowners could have afforded the loan. This is what happened to my home on the Cape, so I know, but my lawyer told me I had to choose between homes. Banks knew they were in trouble long before!
I know of the credit card scam, happy to say that I don't own one except my debit card that acts as a credit card. I understand now what my mother use to say about never taking out a mortgage because the bank will own the house, but the place was distressed when I took over. At least I can say that the rents will cover my new rate, but I'm still in a holding position like so many. Both homes in prime locations and remodeled, so it would be a turn key operation, but I'm not sure how they determine whose home gets taken. The AG's office has shared that this certain lender is not allowed to foreclose in Mass due to their lawsuits, so I might be safe, who knows. I don't count on anything anymore that is said. I ask a lot of questions from the various people who are helping me with the lender and then I cross check to make sure we are all on the same page. That and tracking my google alerts for updates on breaking news on the topic. Reporter of CNN said my case was exceptional because I had many positives, compared to other homeowners. I'm scheduled for another interview soon.
Forgot to mention--
The Hale-Dorr lawyer added:
The banks are planning to take the homes pennies on the dollar and sit on them. Not sell to qualified homebuyers as promised. That is why they were not lending money and giving Congress BS excuses. Then when the market spikes, they will sell them off once again at inflated prices like before.
So what they have done with businesses on Wallstreet (flipping, turning profits at warp speed, how they massed millions so quickly) they have also done to the housing industry. By forcing the prices down, they take the stock (real estate) and wait until the markets shift once again. But in reality, they are once again re-creating the very markets which they have destroyed. So how does this become a free market for a nation of employees (so called investors) who will gain profits? We don't, it's simply an illusion and they are the magicians who can make it all disappear or reappear whenever they want.
It is us!
And crusader, that site roman mentioned was GlobalResearch.
Despite being deemed right winger, for attacking left leaning propagandists, I have continuously commented on the ruse of both parties. The dems are in power now and just as corrupt and cozy with different(and same) corporations the so called left despised under bush.
The military complex rules dc and the world, and are puppets and collaborators with the international bankers, nation re-builders(Halliburton), and the politicians.
They are still the power players .
Nothing has changed but the facade before us.
Until we all shake off the dogmas of the system parties, nothing will change.

"Fooled again" contd..
In the sixties,we were of a mindset that big government was the problem, that inherently all pols lie to us for votes, power, and were puppets of the international corporations.
Media, was investigative and helped expose the lies and corruptuion which fueled national debate and some change in government policies..at least enought to placate us.
Jounalists were then government watchdogs and brought the inevitable end to Vietnam and the downfall of Nixon.
The fallacy of trusting either party or leader without question, will lead to tyranny.
The fallacy of allowing big brother into our lives and run the corporations, and wall street,is the proverbial fox(no pun intended) watching the hen house.
The gop is a mess, corrupt, and extremely guilty in the actions that have lead to our current malaise.
Don't however,be fooled again, that the knighted one and his party are going to ride into dodge and clean up the mess!
They were, and are,all collaborators as well.
I repeat.

I know what you say is true, but I do believe there are some politicians both left and right that are trying to help the middle class. How could they expect to be beholden to only the nouveau richistans who will only continue to hoard taxpayer consumer dollars and stash it all in off-shore accounts. This class is made up of many liberals and right wingers as well. But it's become a major power struggle. I don't believe Congress is enjoying the complete take over by the banksters. This is gone completely out of control. Few were ever really concerned how much money their CEO contracts paid, but now they have run off with the treasury. Geithner has protected all his pals at GoldmanSachs and many alike, those financial wizards at Harvard Business School who brought us ponzie schemes, hedge funds, arbitrage, layoffs, off-shore accounts, outsourcing, etc. A former tax commissioner who was overseeing their books became the biggest whistleblower, and best part, they printed it in the Harvard Crimson for all to see! No accident, Larry Summers got promoted to DC.
Democracy Now should take over--send Murdoch to China and let him do news there.

We need to bring back reporters like "All the Presidents Men"
So its the newspapers that are suppose to determine good vs. bad loans. Where have you been? Newspapers for years have been writing about mortgage issues, apparently you missed those articles.
Next time you sign for a loan, bring a reporter instead of a lawyer. Always everyone else's fault.
2002: News Headlines should have read:
ATTENTION all homeowners: Do not sign any loans from the following lenders:
(the list is too long, Walter won't allow me to go beyond 1100)
Fill in your own blanks--I'll give you a few--
CountryWide, OptionOne, GoldmanSachs (AG just sued them for $50mil, not enough), Chase, JPMorgan, WellsFargo, GMC, ABC, EFG, HIJ, 123, 456, FRAUDSTERSWEARE, CROOKSWELOVETOBE, TAKEYOURHOMEANDMONEY.COM.
Make one up, they are all the same!
Loansharks with Harvard Degrees. I guess it makes it all okay. Snakeoil salesman is a choirboy compared to these bums. Bernie Madoff needs company. They need to build more country clubs for the thousands who have defrauded homeowners all over this country. If you can afford to pay 5%, 6% you should be able to keep your home!
Anything else is BULLSHIT and the guy up there in the Limo is part of the problem!
Paint job? Darkside Black? Caucasoid White? Chinese Red?
I was thinking of having a custom paint job, you know... something creative, a one of a kind.
I'll put it out to bid... maybe Jürek... you interested? What would it cost me for something sonntag specific? Throw in a few subliminal nipples.
And I stand firm behind it... or in front of it. What's your position?
Caught a butt load of fish and a pretty good buzz on the Islamorada (409) hump.
Threw everything we had at them and the fishing was way better than off Fort Liquordale.
Wahoo slammed the speedo’s on top and the dolphin were like shooting fish in a barrel.
Nighttime Grouper fishing; hitting chunk on the bottom after we shut down and started chummin’ and hummin’ for tuna, although the tigers made it interesting landing them, (too many chiefs and not enough braves, alcohol may have been a factor).
Needless to say,all enjoyed and we will be having fish for dinner.
Fishing trip: 4 1/2 *'s
Now onto Omega 3 vs. mercury. Don't you love fresh grouper?
Looks as if ACORN's been exposing a whole lot more on the many loansharks who are doing business all under the umbrella, "hey it's legal to rip everyone off"...

And more on the predatory lending that Murdoch refuses to print:
Wells Fargo, Countrywide Financial and Citigroup are just a few among the rest of the defendants. Borrowers who are suffering with such issues are turning to the legal system to save their homes. Many professionals say they have not seen so many cases in over 23 years.
Banks have faced lending lawsuits and have paid millions of dollars in settlements.
During the housing boom the mortgage industry went after the middle-class borrowers, these people are able to hire attorneys and go after the lenders. Borrowers in a more sticky financial situation, are turning to attorneys who take payment when the case is won. In most cases when an attorney is hired to help against the foreclosure of their home, they win the case.

Had lunch at “La Cote”(Fontainebleau) with junior, the evil insurance exec.(Assurant) and client. Tenderloin was excellent, as was according to my son, the grilled lobster and client said he also enjoyed his club sandwich. His choice is an indicator as to why he has way more money than I do. We also did a round of gazpacho shooters, and couple $7 Coronas and hit the bricks.
Pete’s down a couple large at this point w/ lunch, town car and driver, charter etc. but it’s an investment and a capitalistic approved write-off.
Got to Islamorada, stowed gear on boat and hit the town for two more hours of capitalistic debauchery before we get underway. Somehow we ended up running into an acquaintance of mine who just happened to have listed the same establishment for a short sale.
Client not only had a good time fishing, he is also a huge capital investor. Who’d a thunk?

"State attorneys general are also filing suits against the industry's key players, stating deceptive business practices. The CA-based lender agrees to do some more loan modifications, not to foreclose upon up to 2,200 loans without notifying the attorney general's office, seeking court approval in certain circumstances. AG's continue to hold the lender liable for this nightmare they have caused so many people. Bank of America agreed to spend $8.4 bil. to lower the interest rates or loan balances of nearly 400,000 Countrywide customers with subprime loans or payment option ARMs. The number one lender in the Country is now responsible for giving out loans that the borrowers could not afford. Although there has been in increase in lending disputes, there aren't as many lending lawsuits as expected, considering the how big subprime loans were during the housing housing boom".
Driven by nearly 100 bank failures so far this year, mortgage-related failures, closings have already exceeded the total for all of last year and are within two failures of a record.
From Jan. 1-Oct. 2, there have been 164 mortgage-related firms that have either collapsed or been shut down, according to the Mortgage Graveyard -- a journal of failed lenders that is maintained by MortgageDaily.com.
"We are likely to see 2009's mortgage-related closings rise to more than 200 firms by the end of the year," said MortgageDaily.com Founder and Publisher Sam Garcia. "Based on the rising number of regulatory orders being issued against financial institutions -- the pace of bank failures is likely to get worse before improving."
Last month, MortgageDaily.com tracked more than 100 regulatory actions against U.S. financial inst. -- including 56 cease-and-desist orders, 27 removal-and-prohibition orders.

Bank Failures Drive Record Mortgage-Related Closings
“It appears destined for a taxpayer bailout in the next 24 to 36 months,” consultant Edward Pinto said in testimony prepared for a House committee hearing in Washington today. Pinto was the chief credit officer from 1987 to 1989 for Fannie Mae, the mortgage-finance company that is now government-run.
The FHA program’s volumes have quadrupled since 2006 as private lenders and insurers pulled back amid the U.S. housing slump, Pinto said. The jump has left the agency backing risky loans and exposed to fraud in a “market where prices have yet to stabilize,” he said.

Just another beach bum from good ole' Cape Cod...don't I know it! HA
I blew out my flip flop,
Stepped on a pop top,
Cut my heel, had to cruise on back home.
But there's booze in the blender,
And soon it will render
That frozen concoction that helps me hang on.
Wasted away again in Margaritaville
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt.

[cue Trolls]
Trolls enter: “We are not worthy, we are not worthy.”
Slappy sound of high-fiving.
[Trolls depart.]
[narrator] “And as I walk barefoot through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear none in a pissing contest who are known to sit whilst peeing.”
[cue Angels] (w/ heavenly music accompaniment)
[Angels land]
Angels speak: “Hear this Ned Sonntag, it has been decreed that the rogue Harley picture is way cooler than the slung jacket/book/ closet maid cerebral picture. Contact Maggie for an update and thyne kingdom shall be yours.
[angels depart]
narrator: "Amen"
Uh huh....so why not DO something about it?
They were so blatant in their disregard, you would think any self-respecting American would,as HW was alleged to have said. "Chase us down the street and lynch us".
We all saw exactly what they did...we heard their lies. We know what it led to.
But the attitude seems to be, "They're gone, forget it, now just destroy the Obama-man!"
As far as I'm concerned, as long as that former bunch of criminals still walks the streets, are still not held accountable for their actions, no one can say squat about Obama.
Rail against Acorn, while Haliburton lives.
Scream about a gvt. take-over, while the Insurance companies rob you blind.
Make a hero out of Wilson, while calling Kucinich a traitor.
Cry about some imaginary Fairness Doctrine when all the while 6 Neo-Cons own all the media!!!
So, if they're all the same....
Then treat them the same!
Clinton was impeached for lying.
HELLO!!!
"The Untold History of The Project for the New American Century
This film goes in detail through the untold history of The Project for the New American Century with tons of archival footage and connects it right into the present. This film exposes how every major war in US history was based on a complete fraud with video of insiders themselves admitting it.
This film shows how Halliburton under their "cost plus" exclusive contract with the US Government went on a mad dash spending spree akin to something out of the movie Brewster's Millions, yet instead of blowing $30 million they blew through BILLIONS by literally burning millions of dollars worth of hundred thousand dollar cars and trucks if they had them."
And Acorn is guilty of.......
No doubt your 16 yr old is more advanced than I...
Scahill mentions Pfizer's most popular drug on the Senate is VIAGRA!...

They appear to be a threat to the military corporate complex...now we see what is really going on here. Who are the real corporate criminals?

Sanders: "The ACORN tape gets up on FOX ,it's played over and over again, & suddenly they are defunded"!
Perhaps, could it be-ACORN doesn't PAY like DEFENSE CONTRACTS.
ACORN has been paid an estimated $53 million in 15 years, but corporate defense contracts have been paid hundred of billions of dollars. Their acknowledged misdeeds-$2.9 billion in settlements. Which corporations fund FOX? or better yet, Murdoch? Can we obtain a full disclosure?
Pfizer made over $40 BILLION a year in profits(must be all that Viagra), they have been found guilty and paid a $3 billion dollar settlement on felony charges including: medicaid fraud, mislabeling and a medication (non-specifics, must be some catastrophic side effect, so who cares, let's just settle this out) They received a $77 million dollar contract from the US Govt. "Corporate felons with long rap sheets"...You heard it all on Democracy Now. Thanks Neddy! Too bad we don't get to see this on the headlines of Murdoch's papers everyday of the week. Somehow it all gets lost in the bigger story of ACORN.
And when will Beck the populist go after them?
Limbaugh the fair-heart?
And look at this!
"In St Paul's Cathedral, the Archbishop of Canterbury spoke of the Devil's influence as he condemned policymakers for failing to consider the human cost of their actions."
me on 10/10:
"The Devil made George Bush do it!"
Funny isn't it?
Does that make the Archbishop a kook?
Thanks for passing along the name of the site roman also suggested infowars. It seems much of what he said has come true, hasn't it? There is an article on globalresearch.com about a group I'm not allowed to mention on this site, check it out.."C" group/Bush. It seems I wasn't just tending to more conspiracy theories as they would have liked it to be.
Maybe Buzz and his friends who condemn us should buy some stocks in defense contracts and Pfizer? Hell, why not, everyone should just join in. Many of our mutual funds were also plagued w/ co's some of us didn't want to sign up for, we too were contributing to the war effort in our own ways, by more deceptions. I can recall trying to move my 401k over to Merrill in Hyannis from BNI associates (another joke of an organization, just pay to get nothing back) and after questioning where my money was going, I didn't like what I saw. Does anyone become educated about where to put their money? When the market starts to slip, guess who get the first word to pull out? The system is rigged to keep the working class down.
Has anyone bothered to figure out why the panic & need to mass billions, store it in off-shore accounts? It was a deliberate act of home grown terrorism on the working class of America. Many continue to let the powers maintain the brain washing technique by blaming those who really didn't understand the loans. They made it too easy. Many Americans never even owned a home before, never took a loan out, they were not as "seasoned" or educated enough to see their deception. Even Congress (c-span) has condemned them-"what should have been illegal, what you were all doing, there was no prosecutorial intervention during the last 8 yrs & this administration has very little time to sort this out"...exactly, they made it such a freakin' mess that no one could possibly sort it out afterwards, intentional. Mr. Rose, (former tax commissioner) of HMS (H.Crimson) his exact words--the lawyers made the language too difficult to comprehend, it was hard to figure out how they did this, but he found out-$100 billion UNTAXED in the Cayman & he was blackballed. Did they run out of $ for the war?

Acorn receives a paltry grant subsidy from the pols,(not that they donate to the pols)
On the other hand, nation builders donate countless millions to finance elections for the pols, receive a pass,or a Mere fine of millions,to keep em honest for the public viewing and placation.
Meanwhile, corps defraud the public trust for billions.

In 1967, nearly thirty years after the events, ITT actually managed to obtain $27 million in compensation from the American government, for war damage to Focke-Wulf plants - on the basis that they were American property bombed by Allied bombers.

The defenders of ACORN, Senator Sanders of VT & award winning journalist Jeremy Scahill (Blackwater: The Rise of the World's Most Powerful Mercenary Army)pointed out the undeniably flagrant hypocrisy that is now being exposed.
Just think how all this money could have been used at home to rebuild our nation of families who struggle everyday just to get by. The $77 mil. (Scahill's interview-Democracy Now, link above) that was paid to Pfizer for healthcare contracts--and we wonder why our healthcare is such a disaster. It's because we have been servicing the wrong people--top heavy pharmaceuticals who continue to produce lethal drugs (some distributed before approved by the FDA--see link to $2.3 settlement by Pfizer, it's all there) that cause debilitating side effects, some fatal, also contributing to higher costs and services to patients who would otherwise by healthy. I knew all of this was going on in the 90's, I see there is little reform.

This video, “Return of the Warlords”: Afghan Elections Marred by Fraud, Warlord Dominance,” was just produced by my great friend Rick Rowley of BigNoise Films. He is simply the best un-embedded journalist in the field today.
IF WE HAD A SANE NATION WITH A DEMOCRATIC MEDIA, Rick’s reporting would appear on network news in the US and not just on Al Jazeera.
Rick’s story will appear in full tonight on Al Jazeera English.

I enjoyed a great charter this summer with a wonderful woman from P-town.
Sanette helped with the fishing, prepared a great dinner for me and my mate and jumped in to help clean the tuna.
Sanette serves great food with South African spices right here on the Cape.

About This Blog
Ned Sonntag is an artist who lives and works on Cape Cod. His genre is nearly impossible to describe because it's "Sonntag-specific." It's a little like India or anchovies: you either love it or hate it. We love it. He has called himself a "Subculture-Pop Culture Crossover Cartoonist."
Ned will offer samples as often as the spirit moves him on these pages. His online gallery can be seen here, and he maintains additional art here, and you may send him an email.
