Total Chaos at the Scenic Highway
A Scenic Mess
by Ana Paulina
"This is a disaster!" was the totality that stirred the many frowns on the faces of people that were present on the scenic highway today. The constant back and forth shifting of repair work and spurts of back ups, drove some people into a complete frenzy of the U turn position.

The first thing that I noticed this morning was this warning as I was about to enter the Buzzards Bay Rotary.

Entering the Buzzards Bay Rotary, utility work in progress and Route 6 Scenic Highway is under construction.

The Buzzards Bay Rotary gained a new companion today, Interstate 195 and Interstate 495.

Before and After

The Asphalt Truck

This was the scene around 10:30 this morning.

Underground Work

Grooved Pavement

These barriers and cones are solely responsible for the constant shifting and chaotic maze that proceeded to overwhelm many of today's drivers.

Follow the cone.

This gentleman is Foggie Govenor, and he had the most charming personality, him and I had a really interesting conversation about the current economical struggles that are hurting many of the small businesses in this area. Currently, he's a truck driver for a small business called C.D.D. Construction, Paving and Landscaping. They could be reached at 888-723-1437

Frank Trottier and Mike Ballard are from Worchester, also known as (Worcester), Massachusetts, joined me on my lunch break for some peanut butter and grape jelly sandwiches.

And this gentleman is Joe Sheffer, from Ridley, PA., who spent his two week vacation in the town of Truro. Mr. Sheffer, was accompanied on this trip by his son Joe Sheffer Jr., a chiropractor, and friend, Rich Suthard. Mr. Sheffer, was extremely disappointed with his fishing adventure over at Race Pond. He told me, out of the last three years, this one being the worst that he has ever experienced because of the decline in amount of his catch.

I couldn't help but notice that the MisFits tried to attain my attention with their homemade poster board hanging off this guardrail. "I see you!"
"Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

The End!

The End!
