Tree Work in Buzzards Bay

Tree Work

by Ana Paulina

It's barely 7 am, and the road is already being prepared for tree work ahead.

If you happen to be in the Buzzards Bay Business District, heading  on Route 6 West  toward 28  North,  this is what you would have been squinting your eyes for. This crew will be in the area all week.

The  right shoulder is closed off to traffic.

Dominic from Plymouth, Massachusetts. And, he's employed by Bay State Construction, Services, Inc.

Flagging is now being introduced in areas under the speed limit of forty five, according to the Massachusetts  Highway Department, construction engineer, Tony Lima, due to safety reasons by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick.

These gentlemen are removing  low hanging sweeping branches from alongside this road.

Scenic Highway

And this was the scene heading on Route 6 East ( Scenic Highway ) toward the Sagamore Bridge.

Wet Saw

Left, Right, Left, Right.

Water Pressure

The traffic seemed to glide through rather smoothly with no backups to report at this moment. But, be prepared to expect delays.

Those raised structures I warned you about.

Bourne School Bus.

Work in Progress.

Standing guard.

Baby, is a hard of hearing old man, but he still  appeared  a little disturbed by the ongoing road vibrations in the area.

Beijo!
