A Scenic Highway Mess

A Scenic  Mess

by Ana Paulina

Hundreds of unsuspecting drivers,  drove full speed ahead over this gravel stone mess  on the Scenic Highway ( Route 6 ),  near the Herring Run Motel,  around noon today. After speaking to a few witnesses, I was told that they had heard two loud crashes. One being that a vehicle had struck a Jersey Barrier shortly followed by the drop of a slate marble sheet that hit the ground and shattered into thousands of sharp pieces causing chunks of flying marble to pelt everything in its path.

I noticed this Bourne Police stop before I turned around to inspect the road.

The Bourne Police finally show up!

Followed by the State Police and a cleaning crew.

This gentleman is Stephen Lussier, who helps run the motel.

Heaven

Beijo!

The End!

The drivers automobile policy will pay for the damage to the vehicles hit by the debris. The damaged vehicle owners have a right to a copy of the Police report and they can file a property damage claim against the driver.
