Lowering Blood Pressure Naturally!

I know mine's lower since obtaining some copies of the new issue of VITALITY, Cape Cod's favorite homegrown natural-remedies-and-amusing-conspiracy-theories monthly tabloid!  http://www.vitalitycapecod.com/  If you type in http://tinyurl.com/y9wc9r6 as editor Don Woodland includes it, in this month's Spotlighted Local Resident right on the fold... to your Browser, it should take you... right back to this page!  My name is spelled correctly and there's a color photo of me looking fairly cheerful!  And... so we shall see what this does in terms of hyping up the resonance of my Regional Microcelebrity status... Thanks Don!!

I like to use vodun to lower my blood pressure by increasing the blood pressure of those who irk me. Do you know where I can get a genuine vodun doll?

Interesting question, Solon!! The Greeks have a whole tradition of Voodoo going back to the Egyptian-Macedonian interminglings and trading with the Yoruba going back 5 millennia. As a Celt, my powers are pretty watered-down compared to what some of your relatives might know if you ask them the right questions...

All that's online image-wise at the site is the tabloid's logo. The paper's free at all the local markets... whaddya want for free? The snowbirds are outta luck. Screw 'em.

Oh Neddy, I was sincere in my interest in reading the story but o que será!

"The snowbirds are outta luck. Screw 'em."

Now that's not very nice, especially since I'm guessing a fair share of Vitality's target market audience are swollen salmon-pink headed snowbirds who just might find the Cover Geezer segment interesting. Some might even have it mailed down here for $40 per annum.

Those that are capable of picking up the latest paper free at all the local markets might find your attitude toward them a tad less than amusing when they type in the tiny url and it takes them... right back to this page!

Good luck with your Regional Microcelebrity status.

Chrissakes I might scan the thing and see if it looks decent to post. Pardon my visceral reaction but having done grades 4 thru 12 in The Weirdest State In The Nation, the thought of kowtowing further to The Salmonheads appalls me. WTF do I care if they subscribe? It's not my enterprise, grateful as I am to Don.

About This Blog

ned_196Ned Sonntag is an artist who lives and works on Cape Cod. His genre is nearly impossible to describe because it's "Sonntag-specific." It's a little like India or anchovies: you either love it or hate it. We love it. He has called himself a "Subculture-Pop Culture Crossover Cartoonist."
Ned will offer samples as often as the spirit moves him on these pages. His online gallery can be seen here, and he maintains additional art here, and you may send him an email.
