Inn's present status

There are several building which are a part of the Belfry Inne, and although their popular restaurant The Bistro is in the Abbey and is closed along with the six guest rooms in that building, the rest of the inn's twenty rooms were not effected since they are in other buildings, and the Bistro menu will now be served in their "Painted Lady" restaurant which will be reopened for that purpose.

The inn is a 1902 former church, an ornate wood-frame Victorian, and an 1830 Federal-style house clustered on a main campus.

The Abbey where today's chimney fire occurred is formerly a Roman Catholic church, and the Drew House next door is the former rectory,
