Route 6 Under Construction
Route 6
by Ana Paulina
Please, remember to be extra careful when driving through the Scenic Highway on Route 6, raised structures, unpaved areas and grooved sections of the road are still under full construction. Also, try to stay within the speed limit zone and be a little considerate toward other fellow drivers, who are trying to avoid hitting these obstacles.

This particular raised structure is located at the intersection of the Scenic Park entrance and Nightingale Pond Road, just before you get to the signal lights and the Buzzards Bay, rotary circle.

Sagamore Bridge

I found this bridge crew on a lunch break.

A two lane bridge only.

The backed up flow of traffic continued for a good portion of the day.
Tree work
The clearing and trimming of tree branches continued throughout the week in the Buzzards Bay Business District, of Route 6 West, North 28. These young gentlemen are part of the crew, who have been spending the last several weeks working in the area.

Dominic , Mark Lindskog and Matt Capachione.

This is Mike Sanborn, a part time firefighter, doing some work for the town of Bourne. The Buzzards Bay Park, bulletin board gets a cosmetic lift today.

A reminder that hydrant flushing will be taking place on St. Margarets Street in Buzzards Bay.

I found the South Shore Tree Removal, company in my neck of the woods this morning, removing a dead tree.

Beijo!
The End!
