Dennis Police arrest 60-year-old arrested for trafficking drugs
Street value estimated at $3k
DENNISPORT - At approximately 1:30 p.m., Dennis Police officers, assisted by members of the Drug Enforcement Administration and Cape Cod Drug Task Forces as well as the K-9 unit of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office, executed
a search warrant at 212 Upper County Road, Apt. 11B in Dennisport.
During the warrant execution, the lessee of the apartment, Joseph Hannan, 60, was arrested and is being charged with Trafficking more than 26 grams of Methadone tablets and 2 counts of Possession of Class B Controlled Substances with Intent to Distribute (Percosets and Alprazolam).
The search warrant was the result of a three month investigation into alleged drug dealing from this apartment in which purchases of drugs were made by undercover police.
The total street value of the drugs seized is estimated at $3,000.

Blog posts and comments are entirely the thoughts and ideas of the people who write them and in no way represent the views of CapeCodToday.com, eCape, Inc., or its employees or owners.
What I'm saying is that they spent more money on the investigation than they took off the street in the value of the drugs. The town's finances would have been better served if they just spent $3000 and bought the guy out.
Meanwhile, the Pharmaceutical Industry is raking in the dough...since we like to get high--it's in our nature.
The most vicious campaign against humanity is this stupid Drug War.
And informants and under-cover cops...it's entrapment. And they do what they want--use drugs if they want. It's a waste of people's lives for the sin of getting high.
they just s-c-r-e-a-m for a rebuttal.
Please stop damning the cops, the system, the Gov't
because there's people involved in all
that and you're really dragging them
down and generating so much gd depression
for the public, it's practically cancerous.
The cops have to take the suspect's "rights"
into consideration in today's PC-saturated world.
Years ago -wether it was drugs or anything else-
they would simply grab the perp,
the evidence, give it to the DA's office
and the process was 50% finished.
Now there's so many considerations that a cop
practically has to go to college
to do a school crossing detail.
And including this:
".since we like to get high--it's in our nature."
in a post like the one you made
may tempt the reader to a conclusion
you may not agree with or appreciate.
I'm not trying to get personal,
but you're the one throwing the stones in every direction...
Nothing against cops, mind you... I'd make the same basic comment if the dealer spent 30 grand to buy 3 grand worth of drugs.
Of course, the dealer would be out of business if he operated like that... while the DPD seems to be quite proud of what they've done.
I understand what you're saying, though... it's not like they can IGNORE drug dealing, even if it's a small-timer.
So maybe it's back to the drawing-board for you, MargarineBunny. I wish Hillary the Rod would overdose and die. (Only kidding,... I meant Billary!?!) You're worried about the 'war on drugs'; I'm worried about the War on Thugs. You OK, Marge?
"You're worried about the 'war on drugs'; I'm worried about the War on Thugs. You OK, Marge?"
Hey Wiseguy-
Where did I post that I was worried
about "The War on Drugs?"
Would you mind pointing out WHERE?
Get your damn facts straight
before you give me a lecture
any high-school could type!
"MargarineBunny21, cops don't go to college. That's part of the problem, not part of the solution."
If "cops don't go to college" then why is
the QUINN BILL such an issue in Mass?
Ever hear of it?
"Some of them are sado-masochistic bullies and trigger-happy. Some have lead feet. Some of them are illiterate, unable to wread or rite Englishe--if you catch my drift? Some of them actually plant drugs on innocent victims and then testify falsely under oath in courts of law--which is a felony offense, in case you were wondering."
I'm not unfamiliar with Federal Law.
And that's quite a list you've posted,
but for an accusation of such scope
you've got no statistics or links to
back it up.
Some of it could be hearsay, though I doubt all of it is.
"So maybe it's back to the drawing-board for you, MargeBunny21."
Not really.
I'd rather post here to expose people who don't know what they're talking about.
"Hey Marge, I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy. And I'd rather have marmelaide-margarine sandwich behind me than a coordinated federal, state and local codswaddle-wich in front of me,... if you catch my drift, wicked witch of CC. Yea, hearsay this?!? Det. McNulty from the Western District is a friend of mine; he is a natural police. He thinks this may all be an accounting error or just a simple misunderstanding. Tru dat. Mos deaf."
Guys like this usually
do a little song-and-dance
when their pointless statements
are so easily defeated.
But one undeniable
similiarity is that
they never, EVER admit it.
And the phrase you're trying to quote is:
I'd rather have a FULL bottle in front of me than a FULL frontal lobotomy.
You can have a lobotomy if you want....just don't post like it.
Another good one!
Like O'Grief and Knickers-0n. Hats off obfuscator!!

A national organization of law-enforcement veterans says the war on drugs is 'a total and abject failure.'

The bunny-gloves come off after this point.
"A national organization of law-enforcement veterans says the war on drugs is 'a total and abject failure."
Your every post testifies/reinforces this declaration.
And the link you posted reads "Page Not Found."
Don't believe me? Try it!
Obfuscator (god I hate spelling that) stumbles with his logic.
Worse than some people do with reality.
Next time you do
the catboxes remember me...
