Bourne Christmas Lighting
Bourne Christmas Lighting
by Ana Paulina
The lighting of Bourne for the Holidays, will be taking place on Friday, November 27th, 2009 at approximately 5:30 pm and everyone is welcome to climb on aboard, The Cape Cod Central Railroad.

This free fun filled night of eventful activities is being provided by The Bourne Recreation Department, Department of Public Works, will be turning on the lighting switch. The Buzzards Bay Beautification Group, providing the train for the children to travel the North Pole, and back with some caroling and a reading of the Polar Express.

Matt and Tommy Parrott
When I arrived at the Buzzards Bay Park, this Department of Public Works crew, were already elbow deep with the wiring, hammering and painting of the displays. Tommy Parrott above, I am told, is the wood working magician who created the Christmas displays.

This auto accident fell into place on Main Street, in Buzzards Bay, early this evening. And below, I had the pleasure of meeting two new friends.

This is lillie (2) who resides in Centerville, visiting the Buzzards Bay Park, along with Tommy (12), also from Centerville, who lost one of his limbs due to Cancer, 3 years ago.
