The time has come for YPD to go to the 4 on 2 work shifts to increase the patrols on each shift.

Well Yarmouth Taxpayer, why don't you visit the Police Chief and share your expertise on the matter.

The Yarmouth Taxpayer seems very bitter towards the YPD. Is it because he is a '"wanna-be that couldn't be" years ago and couldn't get on the force? And this was back in the days when they would take anyone!! Too much of a dork even for the old days, I guess.

Expect to see more of these as the holiday season descends upon us... repetition will get them caught. Only a matter of time. I hope they post the thieves on the weekly top 40 when they DO get caught.

Vic: It seems you are a know it all. I left the department because it was interfering with my full time job. I was only a reserve officer. Now about your claim about being bitter? In no way am I bitter towards the YPD. I have no axe to grind, as you would say.
I speak as a Taxpayer, a conservative one. Now when I make a statement like going to the 4 on 2 work shifts I do my homework first. Yes, samndyneck, I have talked to the Chief, and the Deputy Chief. I have know them for many many years. I have talked to some of the retired Chiefs and other members of the department who are now retired.

Vic and sandyneck; Can you know it alls answer a question that the Taxpayers should know the answer to. Why were the 4 on 2 work shifts looked at during the 2006 Police Department Study and the results of this were kept out of the Police Study? Mmmm?

Well what did the Chiefs tell you about your proposal?

That wasn't the hardware store job that you got fired from was it? Like I said,"wanna be that couldn't be". I don't see you criticizing your son's state pd job. Talk about fat that could be trimmed. By the way, have you two spoken to each other lately?
