Christmas Shopping
Christmas Shopping
by Ana Paulina
When Miss ToTheRescue, arrived in Bourne, the first thing she managed to do was pull my winter hat off my head. So, we decided that we would work on our Christmas list by shopping around for a new winter hat.
( Miss ToTheRescue, showing off her new winter hat while having some apple juice. )

After the trip for the new winter hat, we decided to forage around the property for some pine cones, berries and holly.

After a few hours of gathering up some decorating supplies, we enjoy lunch and venture on over to Mr. Smitty's Antique Shop, located at 111 Main Street in Buzzards Bay, for the purchase of a Christmas wreath.

( Plain 10" wreaths are $7.99 and the 12" $9.99 and includes a red bow. )

( The decorated Christmas wreaths are listed for $14.95-$18.95 )
Miss ToTheRescue, is attracted to some of the decorated Christmas wreaths on display, and yanks a decorative piece off one of the wreaths.

Followed by a taste test.

And to her amazement, it was not very gratifying.

Here, Miss ToTheResuce and Mary ( Mr. Smitty's wife and owner of Smitty's Antique Shop) meet and immediately take to one another.
( Miss ToTheRescue, waves Mary a goodbye for now! )
These Christmas trees are considered classics from Nova Scotia and are priced at $20.00 - up.
Lastly, if the delivery of a Christmas tree is an issue, Mr. Smitty is all but willing to help.
My favorite Christmas song!
