Loud argument brings large police response to troubled neighborhood
HYANNIS - A call for a disturbance brought a large police response to Hiramar Road in Hyannis around 11:15 a.m. Sunday morning. The neighborhood has been the scene of a number of incidents including shots fired at homes. Barnstable Police were not sure initially what the problem was and took no chances. After about an hour of investigation, it was determined there was only a loud verbal argument. Story and photo by Frank Paparo.

Embers from the chimney had started to catch shingles on fire. Firefighters were able to quickly douse the flames and snuff out the chimney. No injuries were reported.
