A little blog takes a lot of work
It is one thing to set up a beginning blog. It's a whole other thing to write it, learn capabilities, and expand, and respond in a timely fashion to comments, and, and, and ...
And so here at the Senior Center computer group (every Wednesday, no advance registration, no fee) on next Wednesday, August 30th, we'll be taking a look at blogging, and depending on response will include it in future Wednesday meetings.
A web site that lists topics, references, points of contact etc. is:
http://mysite.verizon.net/denniscoa/
or you can just Google denniscoa wednesday

Friends of Dennis Seniors
Dennis Senior Center Blog begins
The Dennis Council on Aging's primary mission is to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens of the Town of Dennis by providing multi-purpose programs especially designed to fulfill the health, educational, recreational, outreach and transportation needs of our most valued citizens in a safe, friendly and comfortable environment.
The Dennis Senior Center is the first on Cape Cod to be nationally accredited.
The newsletter, The Cranberry Scoop, can be found here.
Among the many activities is the Dennis Computer Education for Seniors (DCES) which offers courses and a Wednesday afternoon club. That's who started this blog. We hope it grows to include much more Q&A, comments, and suggestions and criticisms.
