And The President Is....

Obama!  I'm not voting for McCain unless "Mr. French Fry" can come up with a wham dinger for lower gas prices dating back to $2.50 a gallon.  Hehe.

The Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band tour whirls along now..

Queen + Paul Rodgers is quickly gearing up for Nelson Mandelas 46664 concert in Britian come June something or another.  Should be a very worthy show with perhaps Bono and or U2 involved.

Landscaping is quite the vigorous work out lately, but 40 plus hours a week is fine for the last month and one week or so now.

Writing of gas, I know why gas is cheaper in the lower Cape Cod area, it was $3.60  for regular per gallon of gas Thursday.  Although it's not summer yet, it's already $3.83 at the  corner of Bass River Bridge, South Yarmouth area.

Could be working in a very musical environment this summer, details I will know more of this coming Sunday.

Living single recently is not so much of a challenge, it's more of a piece of cake for starters, although lonely.

Thy country below China, you know, with near 500,000 dead due to a cyclone.  I do hope the government of Myanmar will all0w more than one plane of USA aide in there.  Gawd awful mess over there.  Ever notice that so far in the news it's "aide coming in" but only America is the c0untry that is spoken of by name?  I'm quite sure Thailand and China as well as India and Vietnam are helping out.  No Democracy here, go away, so what, 500k....if that is the mentality of the press over there and government when we, America, USA has the best detection programs around we'd probably give for free.  I didn't like the fact our USA government said something like "we'd help if they change their government".

Dear Cape Cod & The Islands, I predict we get our collective asps kicked come late hurricane season, 2008.  Thank God I have a car and enough room to get my belongings, all of them in there.  That week I'll take a long, long drive over the bridge and far out west.

No, no gloom and doom here from me, just a matter of fact, I smile more now that I am not attached to my now former wife.  I do hope she's happy.

A friend of mine over in California got to meet my favorite British guitar player, Brian May, legendary guitarist for the band Queen (now Queen + Paul Rodgers) last week, photos included in her MySpace blog.  He did a book signing.  He's a got a doctorate or something like that within the last 2 - 3 years for Astronomy.

Religion.  Christianity is about accepting all people, regardless of religion choice true?  Well tell the Osterville Baptist Church that.  Seems another internet friend (netbud is what I call 'em) lost her children to her cheating hubby as he is a member of that church, with the churches help.  All reports last week, DSS was going to make sure she got them back as of yesterday, Friday May 9, 2008.

If there is one person I miss, he's a cat named Oscar,  a 14 year old Maine Coon Cat in my ex-wifes custody.  He's got cancer near his tail, on his back as of late August 2007.  Untreated it is as well despite the aok from her Aunt Janet E. Morris that she, Mrs. Morris would pay the money for the cancers removal.  It's neglect I tell you, neglect!

By the way, the last time I went to court over alimony, my ex's boyfriend told the chief probation officer of probate that he was not living with my ex.  Oh but why did Rent-A-Center call me and ask if I'd vouch for the two of them, ex and boyfriend regarding a new bed not a month before that (of course I said no) and why did a friend of all of ours tell me privately he is living with her, felony conviction(s) and all whilst she has Section 8?

Come on Barnstable Housing Authority take a drive over to her place...

May I....

Well, I for one, as much as Nantucket & Martha's Vineyard are fabled with history, splendor and beauty, won't be going to drive there on the island, either, it's over $4.50 a gallon, so may I tell you why?  As some of you might not know, they are islands and gas isn't pumped over there underground.

Anyways, for those of you whom are Journey fans, Journey, http://www.journeymusic.com has new one coming out with 11 re-recorded classics, 11 new songs and a concert DVD all for under $12 exclusively at Walmart come June 3, 2008.

As I wrote nearly 2 months ago, Bruce Springsteen will have an acoustic release in 2009, I knew it without looking, aka, blindfolded LOL.

I've been divorced now since December 26, 2007 and no girlfriend to "relate" with ya know.

Come see me at the Black Spot Cafe, Wednesday nights okay?

Landscaping is fun, lots of edging to pick up, thatch to rake up, grass to aerate, seed to lay down, pruning, mulching and did I mention pay to pick up too?

I probably will go see Bruce Springsteen August 2, 2008 at Gillette Stadium.

I just had my medicine, a good 20 minute ear to brain shot of Queen, Queen & Paul Rodgers here at the library.  LOL.

Phantom Danny Federici (RIP)

Hi,

Two days ago, I heard the news that Bruce Springsteens 40 year plus friend and partner (not Gay) Danny Federici passed away of melanoma.  I nearly forgot to use my brakes while driving.  I had been listening to WCIB (Cool 101.9 FM) and heard Springsteens "Thunder Road" with the announcement that Danny (Phantom Dan) passed away.  The current "Magic" tour is put on hold for almost a week and dates are rescheduled.

Danny Federici was the keyboardist and more since before "The E Street Band".  You might know his work from Bruce's "Hungry Heart" from "The River" or "You're Missing" from "The Rising" or "Sandy, 4th of July Asbury Park" from "The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle" but I know him as the man that put note for note soul into the keys and believe it or not, accordian as well.  Oft to the side of the stage in concert, Danny was an integral part of the bands sound, not to be copied for it can't be.  Imitated for sure, with millions of keyboardists around the world at one time or another of whom heard Danny Federici.  I like to think I'm a pro rhythm section with a  novice approach to keyboards and Danny was and forever will be an influence.

Well

It's official, Jen, a red headed woman with a 4 yr old daughter spoke up over a week ago and told unto me, "you have the nicest blue eyes".  Well that memory has stuck with me since then.  Ex wife?  What ex-wife, winter blues is over :-).  I finally heard the new Queen + Paul Rodgers single "C-Lebrity" here in the same library I sat in a week ago or so.  Grrrreeat tune it is, Pixy (WPXC) 102.9 aired it during "Live Lunch" this past week too.  You can find it runs just under 4:30 via YouTube.Com.  Go there, be your own tube:-).  I've not missed much in the electorial process and that drama, well there is new news when someone just blinks it seems, be it Clinton, Obama or McCain.  The Olympics.  I bet there is some serious terroristic drama come Olympics.  Howie Carr has the death pool and well, I'm in on the Olympics, but really, God forbid that anything "bad" actually happens".  May everyone worldwide be safe during those times in China.  Check me out on my MySpace.Com page, it's a music page.  "Say", "Regardless", "Rip It" & "Teddy's Song" are all there for your perusal.

Cape Cod Connection To Patrick Swayze

Hi,

Tonight at The Black Spot Cafe, I dedicated "Teddy’s Song" to the man and actor Patrick Swayze, of whom reportedly has pancreatic cancer, as did my Uncle Ted Mahler, of whom passed away October 2003. Next up was my song, "Say" and both songs got a round of applause, all A-Capella, as was the final song "Got Me World Wide".  "Got Me World Wide" was created, live on stage, A-Capella, at the now defunct Prodigal Son, the Black Spot Cafe carries on the same tradition of open mic nights, every Wednesday.  Honestly, I got the title from good perspective, a song I've not heard yet by Bruce Springsteen, "Man At The Top", otherwise, that's all.  My song has been on the internet for years since then.

When Bono showed up at the Prodigal Son with Larry Mullen, as written about in "A Hint" I had no idea what would come next.  "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" went on to win Grammys and was officially released late 2004.  As for the band U2 lyrical wordings, I find that "Yahwey" and my song really go hand in hand, especially since, it was in U2 fan based areas I showed my skills.  Here's the lyrics to "Yahwey".

The 40 Minute War (Relevance Today) No WMD's

How do I say, this war against Iraq could've been avoided and convince you that I have been working on a story since 3 weeks before Prime Minister Tony Blair (United Kingdom) was to address Parliament as to whether or not the UK should join the USA in the war.

It's simple to write here but delicate to the hearts, souls and minds of families, including my former in-laws of whom, I owe an insurmountable amount of gratitude.

Janet & Chris Morris (my ex-wifes moms sister and her husband), they grew up around the Kennedy compound. Janets dad, Cecil, he opened the 1st USA based department store in Israel. In fact, at one time, (and I still do) took a photo of Cecil, Janet & Russian President Vladimir Putin and said "family". After all it was reported that Putin did not know whom his dad is.

Anyways, Janet met Chris, they became practicing musicians and authors. C. J. Cherryh, David Drake and many more wrote with them. Sci Fi Fantasy, "I The Sun" (a personal favorite), "Threshold" (became a CBS series), Dream Dancer, Cruiser Dreams and probably the most important book that Janet & Chris Morris wrote, "The 40 Minute War".

Honestly, I've yet to read the story. A cover is worth a million words. See the photo section of my photos, it's in there. 1984, that book, "The 40 Minute War" was published with two covers. The 1st, a jet was about to hit the capital building in Washington D. C., the 2nd, a atomic explosion over the same building. The book got them noticed by a man of whom at one time gave President John F. Kennedy the Russian (then Soviet Union) missile photos personally, photos that were taken above Cuba, just 90 miles from Florida, USA.

As for Cecil, I suppose, he had much to do with Janets direction, after all he was head of the Massachusetts Civil Defense and resided here on Cape Cod, just a few miles from the Kennedy Compound. Cecil passed away during the early 1990's as did his wife, Anne.

Deputy Director of the CIA, Ray S. Cline took Janet & Chris as protege's.

Eventually, Janet & Chris opened up M2 Technologies Inc. and hired a man of whom, by the last name (Kelly I recall) was inside Iraq for awhile and was to report to Tony Blair, just 3 weeks prior to the UK's commitment to war in Iraq. Kelly, was supposidly found in a suicide situation, dead. I say it was murder and why? Nobody holds onto a pistol, shotgun etc. when killing oneself with a bullet in the head, the hand releases a very fast projectile. The pistol was found in his hands. The entire news story was a "micro blip on the radar screen". Kelly was in Iraq prior to being killed in the UK and he was to report there were no WMD's at that time inside Iraq.

I see all this as a way for *any* candidate of elective office to go back to the wars roots and I ask, start with the one I just wrote of and you have read. Who knows, maybe Janet or Chris will be a presidential running mate, maybe not. I know for sure, the two of them know the entire and complete truth as to the no WMD's in Iraq and why? I was family at the time and I heard enough to be convinced there were none in Iraq. I'm not saying we shouldn't have invaded, Saddam was on "probation" from Persian Gulf War 1 and he needed to be toppled, for not obeying the rules of the treaty set forth. I believe, especially after September 11, 2001, there was immediate need to take care of the situation. However, the pretense of WMD's in Iraq by Vice President Cheney and President Bush was and is not factual at all and at the least, should be more of a subject coming soon in the presidential election, 2008 and quite possibly criminal charges if there is ever a connectoin between Kellys death and either Blair, Cheney or Bush.

Mercy Mercy Lord Have Mercy

Hi

Mercy Mercy Lord Have Mercy.  Okay, I'll get to the point.  "Act Of Mercy" was written in a day, recorded and peformed live, harmonica and vocals at the now defunct Prodigal Son of Hyannis, MA.  The song was immediatly released everywhere possible and available excusively at my once massive web domain, mahlers.com.  I remember stories of husbands and wives "cheating" on each other but for a reason, to save a life and basically that's what "Act Of Mercy" is about, crimes of passion and against humanity.

I became a fan of Melissa Etheridge when I first heard "Come To My Window".  I had a teenage girlfriend of whom, today, I believe is in Arizona and living the life of a lesbian. It just so happens that, my friend, Cathy, with the right expression happens to look like Melissa Etheridge.

Melissa became more important to me because she allows a community bulletin board at her official website.  I managed to obtain a copy of "Skin" and fell in love with "It's Only Me".  Back in 2003, I was friendly with a youngin' named Cara.  One day at work, she was crying into my ears from her home, her boyfriend had died in a auto wreck the night or two before.  Believe me, the people of Dunkin' Donut's let her take her time to come back to work.  I got to writing to Melissa via her community bulletin board about the accident and asked Melissa since she was coming to the Melody Tent, to bring Cara closure, heal her wounds.

She Did.

She closed the night with "All The Way To Heaven"

Later on, she released "Lucky" with "Mercy" on it. 

As for U2, "Mercy" was reported to  be the opening track for "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" but was cast aside and as of yet has not been officially released but if you know where to look, you can get a copy, I know, I have one. 

I understand that coincidences are coincidences but my timing was right and I have unforseen friends out there.  Their songs are the guy and gals side of the story.  Please, judge for yourself.
