Is Mr. Kennedy plagiarizing The Alliance?
Shades of brothers Grimm in our local daily

Senator Kennedy recently put out an editorial seeking to explain  his opposition to the Cape Wind project. One couldn't get too far  into it before feeling,"Gee, I've read this book before!" All the  false concerns the Alliance has been spinning ad nauseam were in his  piece. I don't imagine that he worries about Mr. Vinnick suing him  for plagiarism.

      - Ted KennedyI'd like to offer the Senator some unsolicited advise. Don't  assimilate Ernie Corrigan and Audra Parker into your speechwriting  staff. Their arguments on the dangers to society, even after being  refuted by reliable sources, have rendered them lacking in  credibility. Their grim fairy tales out-grim the 18th century German  brothers Grimm, Jacob and Wilhelm, who collected and published the  imaginative and scary mythology of their time.

There is no need for me to rehash the list of objections in the  Senator's playbook. Moses Calouro and Rep. Matt Patrick have already  provided very effectively the factual refutations on capecodtoday.com and in oher newspapers.

Not mentioned in the Kennedy op-ed is his real reason for being  a NIMBY. When asked how he, a strong advocate for health and  environmental programs, could oppose the wind farm he reportedly  answered, "But you don't understand. I sail there."
