GOP representatives to collect signatures at Yarmouth Town Meeting Tuesday night
Meeting set for Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
The Town of Yarmouth will be holding a Special Town Meeting, Tuesday, September 29 at 7 p.m. at the Mattacheese Middle School.
There are eight articles on the Special Warrant.
Several members of the GOP will be on hand collecting signatures for the following:
- Senator Scott Brown
- Repeal 40-B
- Rollback the sales tax
Mattacheese Middle School is located at 400 Higgins Crowell Road in West Yarmouth.

Breakfast with Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Charlie Baker
Meet Baker along with Rep. Jeff Perry and Sheriff James Cummings
Event co-chairmen Representative Jeff Perry and Barnstable County Sheriff James Cummings invite you to a breakfast with Republican gubernatorial candidate Charlie Baker. The breakfast will be held at the Dan'l Webster Inn on Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Doors open at 7:30am, with breakfast served at 8am.
In his 30 year career, Charlie Baker has brought success and strong management to both the private and public sectors in Massachusetts.
He served as CEO of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care from 1999 until 2009. Under his leadership, Harvard Pilgrim climbed from the brink of bankruptcy to a leadership position as the number one health plan in the US according to the National Committee for Quality Assurance, US News & World Report ranking.
Prior to joining Harvard Pilgrim, Baker spent eight years in Massachusetts state government, where he served as Secretary of Administration & Finance and Secretary of Health and Human Services under Governors Bill Weld and Paul Cellucci. He was co-director of the Pioneer Institute, a Boston-based public policy research institute, before moving to the Weld administration. He also served as a selectman in his home town of Swampscott.
Mr. Baker holds a BA in English from Harvard College and a Master’s degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern.
He, his wife Lauren, and their three children currently live in Swampscott.

Meeting to cover 2010 activities and candidates
The Brewster Republican Town Committee meeting will be
held on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 6:30pm at the Brewster Town Hall.
The agenda will cover 2010 activities and support for 2010 candidates.
All voters are welcome to attend.
Yarmouth RTC reorganization meeting set for September 10th

A Yarmouth Republican Town Committee Reorganization Meeting will be held on Thu
rsday, September 10, 2009, at 7:00 pm in the meeting room of the Yarmouth Police Station. The station is located at One Brad Erickson Way in West Yarmouth.
The meeting is open to all registered Republicans in the Town of Yarmouth and those interested in serving on the Town Committee are encouraged to attend this Reorganization Meeting.
District 5 Regional Chairman Brock Cordiero will chair the reorganization process.

5pm in the Skaket Room of the Orleans Town Hall.

Rob Willington guest speaker at Sandwich RTC September meeting
Willington will speak on efforts to re-energize the MA Republican Party
The Sandwich Republican Town Committee (SRTC) will hold their Monthly Meeting on Tuesday, September 8, 2009.
The Committee will hear from guest speaker Robert Willington of RebuildtheParty.org. Mr. Willington will discuss efforts to re-energize the Massachusetts Republican Party and offer his outlook for the 2010 Election.
The meeting will begin at 7 pm and will be held at the Riverview School, which is located on Route 6A in East Sandwich. Due to the construction in the area, people may use to use the Hammond Road entrance and the lower parking lot. A door prize will also be awarded to one lucky attendee.

The mission statement, core beliefs, and Republican history are stated as well as information about upcoming events. The website also contains information about meetings and how to sign up to help Republican candidates both locally and nationally.
Republic Roundup set for Sunday, September 13th in Chatham
The 2009 Roundup features candidates for governor
This year’s Republican Roundup in September is back with a bang, featuring both Republican candidates for Governor: Christy Mihos and Charlie Baker. So, here’s your chance to meet and hear both of the Republican gubernatorial candidates as well as directly ask any questions you might have; all while enjoying tasty hors d’oeuvres in a friendly setting.
A staple of Lower Cape politics for many years, the Republican Roundup is sponsored by the Lower Cape Republican Council. It is being held at the Chatham Wayside Inn on Sunday, September 13th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. There will be delicious food, music, a cash bar, silent auction and an over-all fun time.

Sandwich Democratic Town Committee to honor Senator Kennedy today
Committee asks that others join them in honoring the Senator at 1pm today
The Sandwich Democratic Town Committee is planning to congregate along Route 6 at the Sagamore Bridge area adjacent to the Christmas Tree Shop today at 1pm.
The committee asks that others join them in honoring Ted Kennedy for his service to the Commonwealth and the Nation. The committee asks that attendees bring flags and signs.
A private family mass will take place at the Senator's home in Hyannisport at 12pm today. At approximately 12:30pm, Senator Kennedy and his family will depart Hyannisport by motorcade en route to Boston.

End of Summer Country Cookout planned for Sunday, August 30th

An End of the Summer "Country" Cookout with Representative Jeffrey Davis Perry will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2009 from 1pm to 4pm at the Sandwich American Legion Pavilion.
The Special Guest will be Charlie Baker (right), Candidate for Governor 2010.
"Country" music provided by Ben Perry--wear your cowboy hat and gear!
There will be a silent auction, cash bar and chicken, hot dogs and hamburgers will be on the menu.
A special presentation to Cape Cod Cares for Our Troops will also take place.
Donations in the amount of your choice are greatly appreciated.

Brewster Republican Town Committee End of Summer Pancake Breakfast on August 29, 2009
Rep. Jeffery Perry will be there signing his new book, "MY GOP"
The
Brewster Republican Town Committee is hosting an end of summer pancake breakfast at the Chatham VFW at 150 George Ryder Rd (off Route 28) in Chatham, on August 29 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. The breakfast will consist of blueberry and plain pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee.
The cost is $8 for adults, $4 children(6-12) and children under 6 FREE.
State Representative Jeffrey Perry will be attending the breakfast from 8:30 to 9:30 to sign copies of his book "My GOP".
