Thanks Ned, I was wondering that myself. Everytime I hear MacCain or Palin say McCain knows how to win a war, I want to ask not only which one, but how does he know?
No disrespect, but he sat the one he was in out, disregarding the fact that we lost that one. He has never been in charge of an army, or a war office, not even a congressional committee with oversight of a war.
And as far at the Iraq War goes, what does it mean to win? There is no winning this war. Better stick to winning the war on terror.

FACTS: McCain lost 2 planes to engine failure, one during the accident aboard the USS Forrestal and the last shot down over Vietnam.

Work is all done, here ya go, a$$oles! The banks don't want to have to give back what they stole or rewrite loans. Now you have the second wave of freeloaders lining up. They had it all figured out. They knew homeowners would not speak out about their own poor judgment in taking bogus loans.

GM CEO's gave back 2 private jets? Big Whoop. The workers were interviewed, said they wanted to speak to congress, were not allowed, but the three CEO's took 3 private jets costing 20k and were unprepared as to a plan, just wanted handouts like the others got? While the rest of us struggle in our own hell, whether it be loss of job, loss of retirement income, kids can't go to college, retail is closing its doors, more jobs lost, people continue to lose their homes from the loan sharks...I know there's more, what did I miss? And they say gas prices are at a record low, what use to be $4.11 gal. is now $1.99 but people aren't buying gas as they once were, or shopping. Boycott! That's the idea. They will have to cave in sometime! It's 32 degrees and I still drive next to convoys of bicycles and scooters...LOL! That's the spirit, what's next? Cross-country skiing along the roadways? Break out the dog sleds! That will be our next form of transportation. I heard Obama is picking Summers from Harvard to take Bernake's place. Maybe Larry can help Harvard get it's 11bil.back.

GM, Ford & Chrysler's CEO's...what have they got to be sad about? Can someone explain to me how it is that a company like Toyota can out produce and out sell the American car industry? The more I read about these clowns that have been running so called "business", the more I realize what is so very wrong about this country we live in. When does the greed stop? How much is enough? It's no surprise the housing market is where it is today. Look at their mentors. They have destroyed what WE work hard to maintain and who pays? We do. Where is the outrage and public outcry? Why are we continually led like a bunch of mindless sheep led to the slaughter house? I really hope that Congress does not back down. The US car industry does NOT deserve to be bailed out. We have had alternatives to gas in place for years with no action. Why do you suppose that is? Others are ahead, while we continue to rely on oil. I use to by GM and Chevy trucks, transmissions always went bad. They are not built to last, but to break so you keep going back. I will always buy foreign because of fuel, reliability and value. How long does your Toyota last? Those who own one know you can beat them into the ground and they still come back. Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Volvo, Saab, all outperform US vehicles.
