Stacey, My first hawaiian pizza was eaten at Joe's Pizza in Northammpton, MA. I was a teenage runaway and a friend of my brother's, from Duxbury, was attending Smith College. She took me in. I lived for three days in the female dorms at Smith College until Campus Security got wind and came to fetch me. My fun ended right there. :)
Ah, the adventures of a teenage runaway.

If you fold the dough over at the end before you cook it, all your toppings won't slide off.

Ana... a pineapple pizza around these parts is usually paired with ham and listed as a Hawaiian Pizza. It's quite common.

Ah yes, wheat, dairy product, and nightshade-vegetable... all those delites we Americans eat to the exclusion of all else. As the elbow-dimples deepen! Did I say I was complaining?

Their sweet potato french fries were so awful that the Colonel didn't eat them, and I've seen him eat chocolate syrup on pasta before.

Funny thing, when my son and I were in Boston for Spring break he made a deal with me, He would go to the Cape with me If we could Eat and the BBC. He is 18 and is not a big seafood eater. I love their Pasties, and there Beef Samplers is one of the Best anywhere. Only one other place between the Cape and Indianapolis has anything comparable. Good Choice here.

I have to say that I enjoyed the Noble House when I stopped by one afternoon. It doesn't look like much on the outside but inside its a different world. Good Food and lunch is cheaper. And the staff is friendly.

I regret that this is going to sound snarkier that intended, but food photography is a unique art form that, when attempted by the untrained, invariably produces results diametrically opposed to those intended. In sum, Walter, your words are far more flattering than your pictures. Shoot up the premises and the patrons to your heart's content, but lay off the food; it looks yucky.

We took my mother there several years ago during the height of the season and had an extraordinary experience - our waiter was an impeccable British gent who took his profession seriously, giving us a level of service par excellence. The food was superb and beautifully presented - it couldn't have been better in any 5 star restaurant. However, two subsequent visits in the Fall and Spring were disappointing. The food was mediocre and the service, well, suffice it to say, it was lacking. Maybe they are at their peak in the summer months. Worth a try, anyway.

In response to: Recession relief at Sam Diego's in Hyannis
My husband and I were great fans of Sam Diego's but the last several times we went there (we go about 4-5 times a year) we've noticed that the quality is down. The servings are smaller and kind of slopped onto the plates, the coffee is very bad and no more sliced black olives on anything I'd rather the (habanero as a garnish go away and black olives return):(. However the very addicting fried ice cream and friendly waitstaff is what keeps us going back. Maybe we need to call in Gordon Ramsey to revitalize it?

Part 2
=========

We were shocked to say the least and my wife took one bite of the beef and said this had to be pre-cooked and they simply put some on the plate.

We called the waitress who was very nice and decided to send it back and order a salad with some grilled chicken. The replacement came after the three others in our party had finished our dishes and we waited for my wife to finish. I would think when a dish is sent back to the kitchen you push the replacement dish out the door quickly, especially since it was a salad with a piece of grilled chicken on the top.

We were told they don't have grills in the front of the restaurant and couldn't cook some of the dishes because of this. To me this is simply a pre-made food restaurant, my dish also tasted like chicken that was not made fresh.

I would say this was one of the worst imitation Mexican Restaurants I have eaten in and simply can't imagine how they have stayed in business so long. Do all residents of Cape Cod settle for this low quality food at all eateries, simply because they don't know any better.

How can you mess up basic Mexican fare or strawberry margarita's which is always fun before a meal.

Given a basket of small, cold and broken chips and salsa. We decided to try their 28 ounce Mango Margarita. Served in a large stem glass, I would seriously doubt that it was 28 ounces, more like 16 ounce glass, I would guess. Not great, no hint of any tequila at all and way too sweet, hard to even drink.

We ordered their steak fajitas which we simply assumed would be sizzling and served with onions and in some places green peppers on a steaming cast iron pan as is the case in every Mexican restaurant I have eaten in, including the chains like Chile's.

After all the definition of Fajitas is grilled meat served on a flour or corn tortilla. This dish arrived on a plate and was ice cold slices of beef, some cold shredded cheese (looked like it was right out of the supermarket package), some beans and I believe rice with some cold tortilla's. We were shocked to say the least and my wife took one bite of the beef and said this had to be pre-cooked and they simply put some on the plate.
