Hi Peter, and thanks for at least trying to interpret the fine print or get answers to simple questions, like what is meant by giving "preference" to the Wamps. Sounds like the old "set aside" that was used as a way for minority companies to compete with big business. In any case, with this economy, casino development will not happen anytime soon on either side so don't spin your wheels over it.

online slot tip...To Be The Next Poker MILLIONAIRE all I have to do is go to Church on Sunday?

Thanks. I will be on bended knee with chips in hand.

I love Cape Cod. It's the residents I have a problem with.

This is refreshing to see a boss who sees his employees as human beings. To show such compassion and gratitude for her loyalty. Hopefully this story will remind some of the other bigwigs out there that life has more to it than just making a lot of money.

One observation is that this is so uncommon that when it happens the unselfish giver is singled out as some kind of hero- which he is.

Kudos to this good guy. It's encouraging to know that we still have people that care for their brothers and sisters.
Let us pray that he doesn't meet the same fate as the gentleman who lost his plant in the Malden Mills fire and paid his employees until he was able to call them back. I believe he eventually was forced to file for bankruptcy.

I don't think we collectively have the will at all...the "I deserve whatever I want" attitude is not going away. Only people who conserve really (that I can see anyway) are those who have to for economic reasons. This is a "me only matters" society, remember?...capitalism, profit, money and prestige.
The real energy hogs aren't about to give anything up.
They could change how they do things, but really why should they? What's in it for them?
Maybe that's pessimistic, but maybe it's just reality.

Peter
well written and raising the questions.
do we collectively have the will..yes
do our so called leaders have the will to lead by example(along with the save the planet elite)..no
until any celeb leads BY EXAMPLE(not by rhetoric),we must individually pursue conservation..
by example

why wait for them

In response to: VOTE YES ON QUESTION 5 IN YARMOUTH
Speaking of voting... Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Mc Cain were flying to a debate.

Barack looked at Hillary, Chuckled and said, 'You know I could throw a
$1,000 bill out of the window right now and make somebody very happy.'

Hillary shrugged her shoulders and replied, 'I could throw ten $100 bills out of the window and make ten people very happy.'

John added, 'That being the case, I could throw one hundred $10 bills out of the window and make a hundred people very happy.'

Hearing their exchange, the pilot rolled his eyes and said to his copilot, "Such big-shots back there. I could throw all three of them out of the
window and make 156 million people very happy.'

I'm voting for the pilot.

I love Cape Cod.

It's the commissioners I have a problem with.

They are an extension of Beacon Hill which is an extension of Capitol Hill.

How did our forefathers survive without them?

U misunderstand Solon... I say that it is Mav/Fraud trying to draw you to battle.

BTY: U read he has invited us for a 'tea' party on his scow? I insisted on a taster or he takes the first swig off the bottle.

Then again, it might be safer to bring our own & share... If he dares.

Personally, I think he's blowing bleu smoke & would cave if we were to take him up on a soiree.

And of course: De-commission the Commission!

Smah, my friend, Peter isn't attempting to draw me out to battle--at least not on this one. I agree with him--and so do you!
