No idea, I was just reading an article on "Seeding the Rain Clouds" - 1946 two scientists at General Electric, found that seeding clouds with pellets of dry ice ( solid carbon dioxide )was cause for rainmaking.

How hard would it be to steal that sign?

If I was a betting man, it looks like they're just about to lay down the asphalt and be done with the off-cape side by tomorrow.

That shot of the bridge half-shrouded in mist would have been better without cars. You should snap one from the bike path the next time you get those same atmospheric conditions.

I'am one of the young men in the lift. And yes it was an awkward feeling with the wind blowing the basket around, haha. But he got the lights up and its one step closer for us to get off the bridge, so that's a plus.

I wouldn't get in that crane (I hate heights), let alone if said crane was on top of a 280 foot high bridge.

Be careful you don't stumble upon a prison work detail doing those photoessays.

People see it everyday, traveling back and forth, is this really an issue?

Someone was
"out standing" in the
middle of the highway
for some of those shots...be careful!
Do you really want to
post a pic of a highway
sign with the word
"puke" vandalized onto it?
Think about it.
Setting that aside,
it's really a nice
pictorial.

200 photos a day? That's a lot of work, Ana, but I'm sure your rewards are grand. I've taken lots of photos of my wildflower garden and flowering trees, colorful birds. Maybe sometime you could do a slide show on your blogs. I'm sure it would be a big hit. Thanks for sharing.

Ana,
The first photo of the Bourne Bridge is exceptional with the contrast of Fall foliage. Do you take photos of Cape's wildlife?

The way you capture power lines in your photography is superb! And the intrusion into the lives of those that need assistance was great! Nothing I would love more than some random stranger taking a picture of me and of course, posting it on the internet. Great work!!

the one pictured here.
The sign in the picture NEEDS to be
removed.
It looks more like a porn theater sign.
The old sign had the 1940s look to it.
It looked great, but it was'nt maintained.
Grossman's lumber used to be across the
street where that "marineland" place is.
Going east there was
Buzzard's Bay Electronics + the Bowling Alley.
