You need to talk to someone outside your friends. Talk to some non-partisan people who don't work in the courts. If we don't elect Anastasia, Turkington will walk into this office, because only Priscilla supporters are willing to buy the "you don't need to be a lawyer" thing. I love this though Krista - you make it sound like it SHOULDN'T be a lawyer - now you're just drinking Priscilla's kool aid . . . Anastasia can beat Turkington and that is most important!!

I agree. The Secretary of Probate is an aminstrative position, or a managerial one at best. You don't really have to be a lawyer to do the job. In fact lawyers make the worst managers. Saying you need to be a lawyer is just an excuse to justify the salary, $110K?

I recently had a chance to meet this lady. Really, capeesq not qualified! Give me a break. Over qualified yes, and dedicated to the cause and concerns at probate. If you are using the attorney's as a measuring stick , step back and relly take a look. The ones you are referring to shouldn;t be practicing law anyway. Check out complaints on them! (You know BBO) She seems to be a concerned lady, and dedicated to the concerns of women and the victims of the court system. Remember the kids that are left out of the equation, the ones we hope will host our future. Your comments are cruel and motivated by the political process that we all hope will be a part of the past. It stinks! People in the know understand and will vote for a dedicated person that care for the people and gives less consideration to the corrupt system that has been in place for to long. If Esq refers to you being a lawyer, I'd like to check your history with the BBO or with past clients.

To all that are going to vote in the Primary:

Did you notice that all the attorney's who deal with the Probate Court on a regular basis have signs for the other canidate for this position. Think it has something to do with knowing who would be better for the job. Ms. Young is not qualified for this position and would cause grave damage to the Probate Court functions in Barnstable County. She will be vindictive and not a person who should hold an elective position.
