Cool pictures - birch trees are my favorite. And it looks like you could hide a geocache quite nicely in those roots ;-)
Beautiful baby, too.

Marge, I am glad you like the seasonal shots. I did the same thing for Bass River.

An 8 month project!!!
I know it was undoubtedly cold to go up there in the winter, but the result is sheer beauty....I always loved the way the wind makes little "patterns" on the snow...
The whole thing looks terrific!

You'll find those houses are not visible and the view, not half bad.
Maybe trees filled in a bit.

I suppose you could ask the same question of graffiti on the tower.

Most folks I know who have tried local wild turkey say its quite gamy, but that's so subjective.
I smoked a turkey for T-Day once... took about 6 or 7 hours. That was all wrong. Deep fried isn't half bad, but a T-Day bird should really be baked.
Thanks for the cool photos, they really seem to be posing for you.

We have hordes of turkeys all the time here in Mashpee..crossing route 139 by the dozens...
I attempted to capture some but they cried afoul, and I was charged with a hate crime..oh well.
I recently joined PETA..People Eating Tasty Animals.
Turkeys will be $.69 a pound before Thanksgiving..

I have shasta daisies that I raised myself, after recognizing some weeds as tiny shastas while weeding properties.
I raise mums that way, too.
Never assume a weed is worthless. :)

I have many perennials and bulbs, my dahlia's are amazing and lots of lillies too,...perhaps Jonathan I'll send you some photos, if you were near me, I'd hire you---few around here have the smarts to start up a good yard care business, something our community is severely lacking and where a lot of money could be made with the right marketing. I'd even invest $ in one, with the right partner, but it is hard to find a good partner in business or personally---lol
I love your photos Jonathan, you have a great eye for photography.

I believe our kids need to learn real life skills, as sadly many parents do not teach them.
Frankly, if Sex Ed. is determined to be critical, so are the skills needed to feed and clothe oneself.

In response to: Provincetown in the off-season
You have to catch that homing pigeon and get the numbers off the band, then you can track the owners down online (yeah, sure!) I got one at Rock Harbor in Orleans that supposedly got off track during a training flight somewhere near Westport. The owner, who looked like a pirate, came to pick up the bird a week later. I found out that many times those birds are rented out for weddings, funerals, etc. and fail to return to the owners after the oohs and ahhs. (The moral being, blow bubbles, leave the birds out of it.)
Thanks for the lovely reminder of another of P-Town's beautiful seasons.
