I spent a few minutes perusing your blog, Sandy. Great Stuff! I like how you show your gratitude for the surroundings. Optimism is a tall order these days, and you have/evoke it.

Once a year, they should re-name the town "Manwich" and do all sorts of macho stuff like axe-throwing and beer-swilling for a day.

Just a suggestion. See my blog "Historic Harwich" and compare Sandwich's efforts on behalf of historic preservation through the Historical Commission.

I am in full agreement on all levels. It is like a Norman Rockwell painting living here on the Cape and it is vanishing through much of the areas in our country. Its family values and knowing your neighbors. Its taking the time to see the beauty around us in this busy world.
