Stop being a parrot and repeating everything you hear based on funded reports from Exxon/Mobile. I do tons of research about Alt/fuels, my own conclusion. Ethanol is hear to stay, face it.
In response to: Christy Mihos says goodbye Chavez, hello Gulf
First, I don't think it was a cheap shot just a suggestion. Currently Bio Diesel is available on Cape Cod in volume. For example Martha's Vineyard has had it for years, The National Seashore has it, Keene NH uses it for it's entire DPW.
Any Diesel engine will run with Bio with no to little conversion. A few years ago The Hess station in Hyannis offered it. Secondly E85 Ethanol is here to stay.
Currently corn based ethanol is being blended for all gas based fuels in Mass., We can blend E85 and supply it locally. GM, Ford, Chrysler build have been building E85 engines for 15 years. Know even Toyota, Nisan and Honda will offer a Ethanol ready vehicle. Loud Fuel of Falmouth offers Bio Diesel for home heating fuels.
ASK yourself? I need to send my money to.1.) Middle East 2.) Tokyo (Toyota Hybrids) 3.) AMERICAN FARMERS in the Heartland. It's your choice as an American, but offer me a choice. Take your pick.

Thank you for for making this local choice. Now how about offering alternative fuels at you locations.

"Almost everyone here was born somewhere off cape" WHAT!!!! My family have been born on the Cape for over 200 years. How much time must your family spend on Cape Cod before you give us this right. Besides most of your tourist business are no longer owned by Cape Codders, Their owned by off cape dreams how spent years dreaming of reiting to Cape Cod and running a small business. Cape Codder's are being "Squeezed OUT" By these dreamers how make their money in the summer then flee the long hard winters on Cape Cod.
Our beaches are being trashed, Our roads are being clogged, our air is being poluted and the price of our housing is sky rocketing because of these dreamers. They have ruined the Jersey shore, real estate in Conn. and Long island is way out of reach for the middle class, now they come here. That's just great!!! The days are number for thisw so called wonderland enjoy it while you can. I'm retiring in the mountains in Upper state NY. OPPS! maybe I shouldn't have said that. REAL CAPE CODDERS HAte tourist!!!!!
In response to: Illegal Immigration: Things to Think About
Katie you must be young spend more time with older folks who lived thru these times and talk to then about this and you may even understand!!!!!
In response to: Illegal Immigration: Things to Think About
Ask any veteran how has fought for this country to protect you and your rights as an AMERICAN!! It’s about our culture and our traditions not ours.
Many of these illegal are not here to become American, but to take advantage of our great nation that we fought for!!! They come hear to take from America and return to their own counties with ill-gotten bounty
In 1909 my great grandfather came to this country from Italy. He entered this country legally thru Ellis Island and lived here all his long fruitful life AS AN AMERICAN!!!
He suffered the great depression while working and raising a family, He sent sons to war WWII to fight against his home country Italy.
He was so proud to be hear that he no longer spoke Italian in front of his children so they would fit in and simulate.
And yes American is the great DOLLAR!! That’s why this country is so great and powerful. Capitalism creates efficiency and excellence, that other counties can not achieve that’s way they all come here to AMERICA.

Next time I goto court I think I'll ask the judge for amesty or maybe go hide in a church.
I wonder why these people who leave their country for anerica do not stay and fight for their rights like we did in 1776. Maybe they do not understand their own human rights so they come here where we have already do the work for them. I see this as the esy way out, let's goto america get a job and send home as much money as we can(est. say 20 Bilion dollars a year is sent to Mexico) how does this grow our ecomony. 20 Billion dollars can pay for alot of education!
In response to: USA-Asleep?
Plus it's not about lowering the cost of energy that will never happen under this president. It's about removing the link between us and the rouge oil state.

"If you suddenly start putting E20 in all the fuel out there, you can damage and destroy a lot of products," said Bill Guerry, a spokesman for AllSAFE.
Given the close relationship between the ethanol industry and automakers, neither side appears ready to push a showdown. Automakers have been the industry's strongest ally for putting more E85 filling stations into service.
Detroit automakers maintain that E85 is a better way of reducing dependence on foreign oil than tougher fuel-economy standards.
"E85 and other biofuels can make a difference now to actually reduce the U.S.'s oil consumption, reduce oil imports, and reduce greenhouse-gas emissions, perhaps more than anything that we can do over the next decade," said Beth Lowery, GM's vice president for environment, energy and safety policy.
