personalities onto Obama, He remained poised,in control, strong and open. Whether you are right or left, we don't need any more bullies, singing "Thats my Story and I'm stickin to it." We need
thoughtful, strong, well informed 21st Century leaders who can help us walk through this dark moment and harness the
bright and brilliant talent of our young
citizens to restore our place in the world. Talking tough and winking are not equal to our great country, Yes Country First, a country of sophiticated, dedicated, informed leaders
not talking down to people as though they were only Joe Six Pack, come on.
We deserve so much more. It makes not
difference where you come from, as Obama
demonstrates, but it does matter that you master the English language and have
the saavy to maintain a high stature in
your speech and presentation, not some
wierd country western imitation. We deserve so much more for our children, everywhere

true hysterical recording of the life

maybe someday this summer. I love that you love taking care
of your kids, Its really cool. oh Yikes that word is so old,
It is the job of all jobs, neverending, scary, tiring, undersold
and completely exhausting. It is wonderful that you can take time
and write about it all. I am off to be with my grandchildren before
I travel, for my 39th anniversary present. I have four grandkids,
two and half, four months, seven and ten. I just adore being with
them, and am half dead when I return. God bless you with your little
ones, perhaps someday we can meet and I can hear more about the war
and all your thoughts. Happy summertime. Kathleen

really the only answer. Please if you
ever want to get in touch with The Studio on Slough Road and do some sort
of forum or event about this subject
let me know. I wrote the article about
Mikeys Shoes. Art vs Life. We have to
reach out and have a grass roots campaign to end the darkness in our culture. It is so apparent that we are
very lost. Thanks for your thoughtfullness. Kathleen
In response to: Crude, Rude, Lewd and Stupid to Boot
a 60 something myself I am always
shocked at how old, out of touch
and cranky some of my contemporaries
are. Are we that old, Yikes, we
need some new movement toward a more
contemporary image for people in our
genre. The Studio on Slough Road is a
gathering place for new, fun, exciting
contemporary art, music, thought,
conversation. Old, cranky stick in the mud, racist, sexist, angry white males are discouraged from participating. Ha, get on our website and read about the fun going on over
here. We have a big party all day saturday of Brewster in Bloom. Your
comments are just great. Enjoy

it gets nothing for anyone. Thank goodness you can write about it.
Life has too many amazing people
to spend time on hateful people.
Maybe we can enlighten them? Anything
is possible. thanks for the information
especially about the photographer who
assisted Man Ray. Great stuff
In response to: Lancaster murder and mitigating factors
and information. Art and journalism
allow us to bring it to light. We
have one job for survival,to teach
our kids a better way. Your writing is
so powerful and the statistics are frightening. We stamped out smoking by
awareness,and thatsaves us untold dollars
in health services. On an economic level
is we stamp out abuse it will help
us all. I saw a powerful art work by
a Nausett High school student about Rape
and how it destroys the inner world of
the victim and even their family. Abuse has many faces and like smoking it damages us all. Thanks for speaking
out and giving such an in depth view of
the situation on Cape Cod.
In response to: Crude, Rude, Lewd and Stupid to Boot
kike, spic, rag head, etc. Hate has no limits. I guess what gets me going is that he goes after the kids that made it out of the ghetto, that I taught, and also there were 100 who didn't make it out that still deserve human respect.
What creates the need for that? What do you call a white man who is a run around guy? < and bald to boot> I have a funny name but I wouldn't type it a blog. Life is rough enough without
meanspirit idiots. I worked in the 9th ward and have some great sucess stories.

In response to: Easter Meditation
and like in the days of old. A religion that teachers love and forgivness is threatening to people
who rely on power and violence for
their inner security. We heard a great
priest today in Syracuse he spoke of
the revolution of love. It changes the
equation that we live by most of the time. Renewal is old and in all cultures, forgiveness and grace are
life altering, and given to all, the
lowly and the high. Now that is hard
for many to imagine. thanks for the
offering I enjoyed it.
In response to: Form and Function, Aesthetics and Renewable Energy
anyway for us to have our creature comforts and fresh air.? What if we all agreed locally to go to bed earlier and turn off our power? then we could be healthier and not need so much medical care.
But what would stores who open at night do? How about air conditioning? I hate it, refuse to use it on cape cod but so many seem to need this? Remember the good old days when you slept on the porch and be uncomfortable in a beautiful romantic way. Oh I am just old I guess, but wow, we really have to find some middle ground or we will suffocate in our own by-products? thank for all the thoughtful educated suggestions

Cape Cod to look like Myrtle Beach do you./ Its a fine line, business, brings
life and where with all for those
who inhabit this fragile amazing
peninsula, I took my children
'to the Natural History Museum in
Brewster over winter break. I wept as
I tucked them in , will there be birds
and butterlies for them to pass on to
their children? But then, who knows
how to control nature, we are nature
