There was more then one person on the plane. It was at least man and a woman. Possibly more.
No fault of you Coleman; It's just interesting how the story is different then what really happened.

Last comment. Getting brutal here, and I have too much respect for you for me to stay in this thread.
In this state, if you just have an FID, it is illegal to own a handgun. You need a LTC A or B.
It is also illegal to own an AR15, in the state of MA, with a Magazine that holds more then 10 rounds. 95% of AR magazines are more then 10 rounds. Unless you have a LTC A (high capacity license).
The AWB (assault weapons ban) is still in effect in MA. This could be another charge if the AR15 has a certain combination of things (collapsible stock, pistol grip, flash suppressor, bayonet, grenade launcher, etc..)
All firearms have to be registered in his name unless it was purchased a long time ago.
If his LTC (Permit to carry) was taken away, there could be MANY charges here. However, these things happen frequently and get thrown out with little or not punishment.
I will bet money on this. :) Call me.

In response to: Pistol-packin’ Peter hoisted by his own petard
The LEO has every right to take his LTC for any reason he sees fit. He probably did not take his FID because he knew he owns rifles. In the case of a restraining order you get the firearms back afterwards. I just can't think of any other scenario.
But yes, a handgun and rifles that can hold high capacity magazines.... However, i never see these charges stick in MA unless there is another real major crime being charged.
In response to: Pistol-packin’ Peter hoisted by his own petard
I still say nothing happens. It was not stolen, so everything you say is a "What if scenario".
If he got his license revoked, i am ASSUMING that it would be from a restraining order.

Different States have different laws. This state is more extreme then others. The man had a alarm installed in his house that prevented the theft.
I am not justifying his actions. i am just saying he will probably get away.
As far as loosing his license, he may not of bothered to renew it.

I am glad Scooter is going free. He is not going to kill or hurt people, and he will not have a chance to repeat his offenses. Also, Richard Armitage is the source. Good use of a Pardon.
I am glad the "mentally ill and challenged" (as you put it) are put to death for murder. No Pardon. A killer is a killer.
I am sad Paris did not get more time in jail. Poor people that need to go to work and drive a car illegally get busted and loose everything. The same thing should of happened to her.
Simple and easy to understand.

People dump sewage in the ocean. Its part of life.
And don't knock asbestose. That stuff is awesome!
mud and texture coats
vinyl floor tiles, sheeting, adhesives
roofing tars, felts, siding, and shingles
"transite" panels, siding, countertops, and pipes
fireproofing
caulk
gaskets
brake pads and shoes
clutch plates
stage curtains
fire blankets
interior fire doors
fireproof clothing for firefighters
thermal pipe insulation

I am not saying this a a bad thing, but I would rather drink watered down sewage then watered down gas.

In response to: Gun Control
Yes, the body count would of been MUCH much lower. We use guns to protect ourselves.
Why is the 2nd amendment there in the first place? To protect us from the government. We used them to free ourselves from an oppressive one. Guns are in our society, and will always be. That's why senseless assault weapons bans, gun buy back programs, gun buy limits, handgun restrictions, (etc) are failures. Criminals have the guns that are used to hurt people, not honest citizens. Punish them. This man was a non-us citizen, and he was not legally permitted to use the 2nd amendment in his purchase.

However, her defense is risky. If she wins at trial, she gets out of jail time. If she loses, she will spend most of time in jail. And the photo does not prove self defense. She said that happened the day before. So does an abusive husband deserve death by a bullet in the stomach?

If you cannot obey the law, then off with your head? Yep
OK maybe extreme, but not noise. Maybe they are not producing the right answers to our problems, but look at liberal radio.
Air America is bankrupt because they spew worse hatred from the other side, and produce no answers. At least conservative radio is trying to present answers.
