They're being awfully hard on you Ted...I thought your post was lighthearted and made on the assumption Mr. Donovan would be found...how nice it would have been if you were right. People on here stun me as they rush to judge...

I felt the same, Easthammer, and couldn't get it into words as gracefully. I don't suppose Monpo meant to sound so ugly-- but I feel that comment ought to be taken down.

Better journalism, please! Clearly Mr. Kennedy is a lost soul...and I suppose all souls are loveable...but you don't give enough details for us to guess at what is really going on, and your own bias is all too clear. So you've got the dogs baying for meat above...when I think you meant to raise concern.

Tim, do you have anything on the arsonist who seems to be at work in Provincetown?

I'm on my way back north now...heard about the dumpster fires...not miuch more...needless to say my fingers are crossed it doesn't progress-TC

It is so good to see you speak out FOR mental health treatment and against criminalization. If this boy had been helped (instead of armed!) before, so much pain would have been saved. Why are we so willing to pay for imprisonment and so unwilling to pay for mental health care?
10/10/07 @ 5:07 pm
for pity's sake, bad things happen, and no amount of sanctimonious huffing and puffing will stop that. May this boy heal well and quickly!

I'm sure you all agree that women too are MUCH more attractive as they become seasoned!!

I believe that on Cape Cod, the word "hot" means "under 60"....sigh
08/15/07 @ 7:59 pm
yes, hot criminal! MORE of this sort of criminal please!!!

I'm with you fireman-- the roads at Chases are so narrow anyone walking there is within reaching distance of a passing car. As this is described here, it's attempted murder, and to argue that the victim is at fault is just sick. If the victim did something wrong, the people in the car could have gone to the police, not tried to kill him!

The hit and run is upsetting enough, but 54's comments are worse-- is there really someone reading this who condones such a hateful and murderous act? I hardly believe it. Maybe a disgusting joke (and the spelling of Confucius is supposed to tip us off?) I hope so.

I'm with you, opinionator! It's lovely to see the kids getting their chance at freedom with the family right nearby....the music is nice too, but if it requires perfect stillness to be appreciated, it belongs in a concert hall

I've seen more awful driving than ever so far this summer-- it frightens me. And motorcycles are the worst--they certainly are everywhere--especially zipping between two lanes, passing in the breakdown lane, etc., etc....

In response to: Motorcycle vs. station wagon on Rt. 6 ramp at Rt. 132
Yes, dpie, that was my point-- a sign that reminds everyone to share the road is one thing; a sign that says "Motorcycles are everywhere!" seems to imply that motorcycles have rights other motorists don't.

One motorcycle crash after another. I think those "Motorcycles are everywhere!" signs are counterproductive--they seem to encourage motorcyclists to take dangerous chances. Why not signs reminding cars and motorcycles alike to drive responsibly in the marked lanes?

The Times is ATROCIOUS! The laziness of their reporting astounds me every day-- their motto could be "Who cares?" We need a good newspaper out here, it would make an enormous difference to have some in depth reporting.

What happened? (At the Barley Neck?) It wasn't in the CC Times...
