Please do not quote Senator Shummer. he is the one that says the "War Lords" are leading the surge "not" the American troops. He does not want progress, this is bad for his party. Senator Shummer is only interested in t defeat and for the Pull-0ut of the TROOPS. Our troops can handle their mission in Iraq, but CANNOT WIN the surge by democrats who have already claimed that the war is lost and over.

Victory, is when the people you are supporting, understand that the sky's are clear and they are too big for the nest! Therefore it is time to fly on their own. Certainly, only the strong will survive and they will cherish their new born Freedom. It is impossible to go backwards when freedom is tasted. The back-up plan is to build a bunch of Golden Arches in Iraq, that seems to bring the world together.

With that said! when will we start praising Al-Queda for the fine job they have done against our troops.
One thing I can tell you young man victory is attainable. The gloves need to come off, especially in extra innings.

Well Mr. O'B, themick takes the simple approach. If you don't get chills up your spine during the playing our National Anthem, epecially on the "4th of July" then maybe it's time to relocate? I'm betting those chills up our spines and with a "firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence" will continue to make this nation the home of the brave and the free.

I don't know how loyal Neda is to the founding principles of this country. themick won't judge that! Neda, certainly must feel good about being able to voice her opinions and blow a little steam off in a free society which is the backbone of this great country. the old mick is happy that he has no dual interest's, "Born a Yankee die a Yankee".

In response to: Warming Trend: Baking The Planet!
Sure, I'm concerned about the Warming Trend! In 2080 an increase of 10-15 degrees will make everyone uncomfortable. We should look for ways to be less wasteful and more conscious of a gifted environment. I will not be here in 2080 and right now, I am more concerned about cooling the Red Sox's off. As a Yankee, it is so important that my children and grandchildren will not be exposed to any further baking.
