In response to: Mall Watching
When I was a teenager (I'm 23 now), I hung out and worked at the mall. There wasn't much else to do. I still hang out at the mall with my friends, on my days off, which is Monday and Tuesday, sometimes Wednesday. By the way capemom, I'm one of those "freaks" you talk about. I have multiple facial piercings, my lobes are stretched to 7/16", I have 5 tattoos, and depending upon my mood and what I have to do for the day, I'm either dressed in oversized jeans and a t-shirt OR a nice pair of dress pants/jeans and a button down from stores such as Banana Republic. My hair as ranged from shaved to the scalp, a bright purple mohawk, multi-colored, to it's current red/black hair color that can either be styled conservatively or creatively. And I'm quite successful in life, even though I don't make a heck of a lot of money. I don't measure success by how much money I make. I work in technical theatre, which is what I have my degree in. Mind you, I'm one of these supposed "freaks", but I graduated magna cum laude (3.7 gpa) from college.
