Forget the "grace!" I wish I had half those gymnasts' agility for use in b.....um...well, let's just say I wish I had half (or even one eighth) of their agility. :-) Excellent wrap-up of the Olympics; thanks, Monpon.

Beautiful home; too bad they (allegedly!) didn't come by it honestly.

Even better than $25 tours: I hope they have an estate sale!

rapunzal2007,

The Times has a headline (only; no details) saying that 2 were killed on MacArthur Blvd. this morning.

LOL – I’m just loving the irony of the “So with the dumming down of American voters” line in this article. :-)

I just got a phone call from the Barnstable Police, apparently via the Reverse 911 system, saying they're looking for the public's help in finding a "non-lethal beanbag gun" that was stolen from a cruiser last night.

clamshelli, I'm no fan of the Times, but I have to defend them this time. They DID have the article about the body found at sea. In fact, they had it in a rare Sunday 'Mid-Day Update' yesterday.

legalbeagle, I rather doubt that those living on SSI / Welfare pay alimony. I'm just sayin'....

I've marked November 10th on my calendar and will be at the screening!

err...you might want to fix that headline on the front page! I was almost afraid to open the article, and was relieved to see it was about Ms. Peterson's feNce! :-)

It's official - the Times' Mid-Day Update shows that the Grand Jury has decided to not indict Dr. Gryboski.

I hope there'll be a picture of the suspect available soon, so we can truly be 'on the lookout' for the scum!

Two corrections to your article on The Daily Show: the show is hosted by Jon Stewart, not Jason Jones as indicated in the subheading to the article. Also, "today" is Tuesday August 2, not the 7th. As a long-time fan of TDS, I'm really looking forward to this episode!

I think Peter (the commenter) is confusing two different houses that were recently in the news.

One had a fire extinguisher and an ex-dog; the other has a write-up in today's rag-of-record about a home buyer who says he mistakenly thought the neighborhood was safe. Two different houses, with different crimes having been committed.

How convenient for those arrested at 245 Mitchell's Way! The Town of Barnstable website says that a "local defense attorney" owns that house. I can just imagine the phone call: "hello, Mr. Slumlord, will you represent my kids and me in court?"

Hyannis sure seems to be going downhill fast!
