In response to: Cindy Sheehan - A Sarah Palin Of The Left?
All questions that are of concern or interest are fair not only in politics but to people that choose a public forum to voice and spread their views and opinions as well. (Even when some of those issues are off the wall) Evasive answers are SOP for politicians as well as people that want t be heard but really do not know what they are talking about. They may not be trying to evade the question, they simply don't have the intelligence or knowledge to answer it, which was probably the case. Additionally, I do not agree with your Palin analogy, but like others, just my opinion. I'll keep reading, at least the exchange with you is stimulating.

Happy reading! Its a great web site for those who want to see where the money for Private Non Profits go! Check out the names. It is 26 pages but interesting! Legal Fees? You always know you have hit a sore spot when you get the critical comments. Check on some of the who's who and the political connections both past and present that might be fun! Keep up the good work. Some news sources just won't report on somethings that may have political connections of skeletons!

In response to: You say your not satisfied, you want more for your money...well what are you "gonna" do?
It took me a few minutes to recover from your last. True , true how true. You have to understand thats what present politics is all about. Say a lot that means nothing. Barnstable County Bills silence is deafening! What say you Bill? Your profound words of wisdom just don't seem to cut it! How did that old saying go? Everyone here is crazy except you and I, but I'm not to sure about you. Maybe the way of Mary may be the best route. Everyone will honor you without a mention of any controversial issues. The good old boy network is slowly being exposed. Now if we can just extend the exposure to Boston. Wait, thats right they were all part of this as well. Oh my, where do we turn from here?

In response to: Manso-so
A Little Disturbing.....too!
Lets see Peter,
Did Costa do anything wrong? I don't Know ask him! Sometimes what you do not do (or participate in) speaks volumes!DNA....DNA....DNA....(That means does not apply)
If there was a shot within 500' and the shot was by the law, lets see, how do you thinks that would work?
Was Manso given a break? Probably not, two wrongs don't make a right!
Planted guns! I think not. Did someone use power and position to re-enter armed with a search warrant with memory of a prior incident stored in a part of thier feeble little mind! I think so..
#5 I'll reserve comment on, somehow with all that is coming out there is probably more to come!
Is Manso an idiot? I don't know , maybe! (Depending on your definition of an idiot) But I'm sure glad I took Gramps' gun off the wall, cause in someones eyes it could look like an AK-47 !!!!
PS. I was just wondering ? Was the DA's permit expired? Does he even have one? I guess that really doesn't matter, does it?
In response to: Charades played while McCowen fate weighed
Can't quite figure you! But it really doesn't matter, at least to me. Anyway, I don't there is anyone that doesn't believe they has sex. And I profess no particular knowledge of the circumstances surrounding the relationship between McCowen, the vivtimm or anyone else Christa knew. But remove your personal feelings for a minute, just a minute capemom, this won't take a tremndous amount of energy and its not an extremely complicated thought process. Now take a deep breath now that your in a tranquil frame of mind and ask yourself this, "Who did the unidentified DNA belong to ?" Doens't this have to be identified or eliminated? What if the other DNA belonged to a big white man that may have testified? Or a big white man that didn't.

Naivete, on your part! Oh, did I get off tract! What was I talking about? I'm confused how could Worthington and Manso's situation possibly be related? How many Costa's are there? Antone, oh no he is not a suspect, I'm not sure how many Costa's there are in Truro!

In response to: My "Democratic Politics"
Very interesting, but Guess What? Want to play? I'm your "huckleberry" ! Don't ever think that youth and ambition are a suitable challenge for the power of old age, experience and treachery! You must have paranoid tendencies to think I am boxing you into a corner, not so. Just use your self proclaimed writing abilities to cover all bases! Imagination ! I love that! Who do you imagine yourself to be?
You must be terribly insecure, I never suggested you were anyone's puppet! Only your own....I sure you pull your own strings! Youth is wonderful, arrogance and youth is offensive. Honesty and originality are qualities that have been long admired by not only our founders but great leaders of our country and others. Keep in mind, these are qualities that are not self-proclaimed, but bestowed on others out of respect, after close examination of a proven track record. God Bless and Happy Holidays!

Someone has to know! Does the public have the right to know? (I would like to) OK, MO, you have an obligation to the voters to let them know! The cops in the coffee shops, the cop you know who is a friend of a friend at a social gathering, the cop on the street that you see from time to time. Time to mmove on, Can't wait for the results of the Highways Killings in New Bedford! What a joke that is, excuse me, the only joke there is the lack of the truth. Peter, a smart person(or DA) never asks a question he or she doesn't already know the answer to, don't forget that. Sometimes a question is asked to solicit responces from people such as you....throw it out there and see what happens. I love how you lumped Hester et al and "Cape Politics or its Law Enforcement" in the same thought. Now you know why the question was asked. Your loyalty is obvious and there is nothing wrong with that. The problem is exactly what you stated. As far as a "jaundiced eye" on campaign funds, your exactly right. When the Office of Campaign Finance states Dinners and related epenses are a gray area they are right. Its the pols that abuse that slush fund from contributions that causes gas for the honest ones. 10X what others spend. Look past the end of your nose.... History repeats itself, why do these people give and continue to give? Research some public documents(court and others) and see who some of the contacts, friends, dinner buddies of some of the players are. It will open your eyes & your mind! Loyality is earned not paid for.
