Great job Frank! A nice change that for once the comments here are PRAISING public servants, as opposed to complaining how they're overpaid, lazy, we don't need them, etc.

Great work Frank and the rest of Harwich/Brewster FDs & PDs on this call!

hey anonymous. come right down to the fire dept and voice your concerns, or are you too scared to talk? like was said before, mr tough guy at the keyboard. The fire went fairly well, meaning no one was seriously hurt. If you got other issues step up and be a man otherwise keep your mouth shut!
05/27/08 @ 7:41 am
I didnt know how much leeway I'd have on here (was thinking a lot worse :)). I bet mr/mrs "anonymous" doesnt want any help from firedepartments if his house goes up and/or his family's lives are in jeopardy
05/26/08 @ 8:43 pm
you got some nerve pal. dink! anonymous-- what, aint got the nards to say your name with your ignorant comment?!

In response to: Kennedy to stay in hospital longer; Tuesday morning update
i dont know about a cover up -- maybe with the seizure risk, they sedated him and intubated him to secure the airway so it was a non-issue.

Now youre thinking, "He's one of 'them'" :)

From the pic on cctimes, it looks as if the Med flight medic is ventilating Kennedy, possibly he was sedated/intubated for the flight to boston. Merely speculation from the picture.

The fire in Orleans was not a 2nd Alarm, only a working fire. It was a fire in a bathroom.
01/21/08 @ 4:53 pm
Thong, you haven't once posted a comment which my first thought was either "What an Idiot," or "Shut the _ up." You constantly are bashing public servants so why do you care about the incidents shown here?? Idiot.
01/09/08 @ 12:19 pm
"I represent the Lollipop FD...and you need to go to the hospital." How bout next time a photo a little closer to the scene(referring to the top)? Sheesh.
01/04/08 @ 8:40 am
The number of bugles is inversely proportional to amount of logic/intelligence. C.H.A.O.S. = Chief Has Arrived On Scene.
01/02/08 @ 7:30 pm
Thong, I'm sure the Cops/FFs in whatever town you live know ALL about you. You're probably one of the jerks at town meeting that can't stand public servants. Don't shoot down the people that have the 'youknowwhats' to deal with what you're scared of....that's right, I'm even defending "Scrod" Ambulance, aka the Nursing home 'Bone.' Just shut your mouth alredy!
12/14/07 @ 9:02 am
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Thong needs to shut up. It's only a matter of time before he/she gets banned!

Thong you really have it in for the FDs...why do you comment on here anyways if you think all Fireguys are lazy bums? If you don't have anything good to say...just keep your mouth shut.
11/14/07 @ 10:10 pm
By the way, is it just me or does 23 seem young for a flight INSTRUCTOR?
11/14/07 @ 10:08 pm
Eb, when you walk in our boots, youll realize you need a little stress relief...even if its a 'childish' prank. I mean, that's all firefighters are, right? Big children. Lighten up
10/15/07 @ 4:13 pm
How close is TOO close for an emergency scene? please, stay safe distances away, let the pros do their jobs
09/24/07 @ 6:43 pm

I am a fulltime FF on Cape - might I remind you of the "JUST KIDDING." Everyone seems a little uptight here.
09/18/07 @ 2:10 pm
Not to mention Chiefs don't do that much work anyways. JUST KIDDING

Im just saying, do we have to show the Pt's face?? It just seems a little odd to be that close and show that much of an injury/trauma. But if the public wants to see that, so be it.

Nice job staying within HIPPA laws. Next time can we get pictures from RIGHT INSIDE the ambulance??

"Tourons" has been a problem ever since the days of our forefathers- when the native Wampanoags had to deal with tourists, aka Pilgrims. I'm sure Squanto couldnt stand those buckle-shoe'd jerks from Europe--they think they own the place! Bumper Sticker from 1600: "I'm not on your Religious Pilgrimage."
08/28/07 @ 3:04 pm
Sorry I don't mean tourists, I mean people from Connecticut, NY, NJ, etc. who drive slow/rude on the Cape and assume everyone who lives here year round is on their vacation.
08/28/07 @ 8:20 am
As for the evacuation - I think the locals should go rt 6, and the tourists should be required to go Rt 28. Then Swim.

08/12/07 @ 7:29 pm
I don't think we're in Eastham any more Tho-Tho. I hope they find the punk(s) that called in the threat.
08/10/07 @ 8:27 pm
Most of the time Medflight is called not only for injuries, but potential for injuries. Medflight is RARELY, if ever(I can only speak for my dept) used for a non-life threatening emergency. I don't know about you, but if one of my family members were in a serious accident, I would want them to have the best possible care, if the mechanism of injury is significant-- and that means going up town on a whirly-bird. Leave it to the people whose salary you pay to make those decisions. (P.S. I think Capt. Farrenkopf is a Harwich Capt.)
