Thanks for giving proper credit to Peter Kenny..only you and "The Day" have acknowledged his key role in this. I know for a fact that when I first started contacting media last Wednesday, they were no where near where Kenny was in uncovering these things. He and I swapped numerous emails and calls while he fereted out the information no one else has, and it is a shame in too many cases ("Times" "Globe" et al) there are those who try to take credit for what Kenny did and then provided to all.

Slight correction. I authored the language for the "Stolen Valor Act" that was passed by Congress. The excellent book "Stolen Valor" was authored by my personal hero, B.G. "Jug" Burkett who brought such problems to our attention.

This much I can confirm for you. Mr. Marshall DID serve in the Marine Corps, and his total time in Active Duty Service was 23 months. His Primary MOS was 0311 (Rifleman)...the basic PMOS for all Marines. He did NOT carry an 0321 PMOS (Reconnaissance). His rank was E-3 (Lance Corporal).
