This is the most craziest thing that I have heard. He has a short time in office and has done nothing in my eyes to make him a worthy leader.
He does however spend our money well.
We have a Movie Star not a leader.
And America is in deep trouble unless we wake up and shout for change.

These drivers with cargo in the back of their pick ups think it will never happen, until it happens. I had the experience of a trash bucket heading towards my windshield and no choice to avoid it as another car was off to the side of me.It smashed the front of my car. Something needs to be done before more people are injured or killed.

Thousands of pills in blistered sealed packs are destroyed daily they are not expired or close to being expired. This is because the meds have been changed or the patients have died. Medications with high prices and lots of pills are antibiotics that could still be of use as well as other meds.Maybe we should start looking at our daily waste. And start looking more closely on how we waste money and resources. Its time to tighten our belts and that goes for all including our Politicans.

Bartenderfromhell...I agree with you.
People with money want TLC because of who they are and feel that we should know who they are. Too often you hear threats from these people as they say "you don't know who you are dealing with". When we the working class are just trying to do pur jobs.

In response to: Gates Says He Received Bomb, Death Threats
I believe this is more of a money issue here.Gates is rich and people should have known who he is. And as Gates appeared at the Martha's Vineyard Book Festival in support of his 2009 book, "In Search of Our Roots: How 19 Extraordinary African Americans Reclaimed Their Past." The book traces the family trees of black celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey. I would say that he is alittle bias because of his book to jump and call it a racial thing. If the cops had done this to a white man it would not have gotten such blow up press.

In response to: Sales tax be damned
Taxes aren't always the answer in the long run and I agree with bartenderfromhell I will just travel to where it is cheaper. The poliicians need to take a look at their budgets. Today mangeragers are quick to cut the blue collar workers as a means to lessen costs, thus leaving the workers left behind to do the work of two. But yet the mansgement staff continues with their high pay and expenses. And at times lets face it there are more cheifs than indians. And lets just look at the money they spent for mile markers recently that weren't really needed. We could all go on ,but who will listen.

Andyg63....Thanks for your variation..it sound good to me. And to those of you who shutter at the thought of a tomato based chowder, its not bad but its something that I have grown up with. And while I like the milk based chowder I occasionally like the tomato based. Its good and you should all try it when you get the chance. I also tried a Carribean Clam Chowder at Davey's Locker in New Bedford that was extremely good and different. It was made with sweet potatoes, corn, clams and laced with nutmeg and thyme. It's is different from our New England style but very good. Always got to be open to try new things then decide if you like it or not. Happy chowdering.

In response to: It's the Chowdah and Clam Cakes Trail
Hey Excalibur and Dingbat...while the captain isn't bursting with clam bites, it is flavorful. A trait I have yet to find in some of the other stops. Seafood Sam made an attempt at some clam cakes and while that had small bites of clam they lack the flavor goodness and just amounted to bread balls with clams. I have also tried Kate's which has a similar establishment in Orleans Liam's at Nauset Beach. These too are bigger with clams but lack the flavor. Salty's in Yarmouth has some which are good but tend to be alittle too greasy at times. Try Bob's sub and cone, they are bigger and have good noticeable clam bits and are bursting with good clam flavor.

Lets be honest. Its not the bridge's fault. 9 out of 10 times its the drivers who cause the accidents. Its either drinking and driving or driving foolishly.
People have to take responsiblity for their actions. Drive safe your life and the lives of others depends on it.

The problem here is that some doctors aren't listening to their patients in that short routine visit. When someone is complaining on muscle soreness and saying that they are finding that they can't get moving without alot of effort, this should send out a white flag to review meds.I have a friend on Lipitor and it took two visits with the Doctor and finally a visit with the nurse practioner to stop the medicine and realize that this was causing her problem.
We need to listen more to our bodies and report changes. And in turn our healthcare professionals need to listen to us.

But I say they gave it a good try while others may have some different comments.
With the Fall at our door, I offer you a recipe for a Pumpkin Pie Martini.
Try equal parts of Cinnamon Shnapps,Bailey's Irish Cream and Kahlua.
Enjoy

In response to: Lobster Rolls on the Road
It seems that some feel that a good lobster roll comes from home and that's great. I was just wondering if someone had a different take on a recipe or place. Surely it is cheaper to just mix up a batch and seek a peaceful view.

Thanks for remembering.
Often people who aren't involved forget and go about their daily lives. Those with close connections remember and will never forget. It helps to know that there are some people who care as we do.

In response to: Route 6: "Patti Page Highway"?
Great Idea....but not a highway
The song has done alot for Cape Cod and has become a part of its history.
But instead of a highway, try a scenic beach or view point. That's where the real beauty is.

You are right about the Marshside since the new building went up so did the prices. The food is good though the portion aren't big.I don't think they are open for breakfast.Lunch is reasonably priced and good.
So is the Red Cottage good??
I've been to the Northside and their Burgers are great, but the atmosphere is a little dark.
