maverick,

You, of all people, having expressed your thoughts about this medium, should know you are being far too serious and grumpy.

Buzz started a thread, and a very funny and astute one, about the Manson3.

Yes, most people just ignore their hysterical, paranoid rants.

Anyone who could possibly think CM was a decent man, having put the boots to CW with his buddy; and never mind the juror on the panel who worked locally and whose boyfriend was also a murderer...

Go ahead and appeal, and waste more honest, decent taxpayers' dollars...
and then blame le.

Cape Cod Crazy.

But hey, that's how criminal defense attorney's make their big bucks.

'Talk slow, like I'm stupid.'

But not that stupid.

In response to: China goes to Charm School
Those who are silent and hang on to others' every words, are, mmm, the Chinese? Or have been to charm school? I've lived in Asia as well, for many years, and I wasn't impressed by the Americans or the Chinese there. The name of my book, although I hate to self-advertise, is Life of a Geisha, or Wife Number Three.

In response to: I Will Always Love You
The judge in my divorce case didn't use the analogy about men and buses, he said to me, 'There are plenty of pebbles on the beach.'
NK.
He also said, 'Talk slow, like I'm stupid.'
NK.
He's probably right, on both counts.

In response to: Tribe must choose: casino OR sovereignty
the wampanoag may pursue a casino through a federal approval process reserved for Native American tribes-a more arduous route that would allow them to circumvent Patrick's casino licensing system, but could take longer to win approval. scott ferson is the spokesman for the tribe and its outside investors and said the outside casino investors believe that the tribe has already won in middleboro, and that the july town meeting would satisfy Patrick....'what the governor is looking for is the same type of ratification that happened in Middleborough to happen in other locations,' Ferson said. The proposed agreement in middleboro was made public just four days before it was ratified. The selectmen were secretive.
now that's the way to get things done in massachusetts.

so Marshall, Strather, et al. 'think' (and i use the term loosely) like 'whitey's' then, eh? for other racial slurs, in forcing all to accept the sole 'sovereignty' of the wampanoag clan ('sovereignty' sounds so autocratic, elitist, and monarchal and medeival), see comments to dr. lynch's article, 'mashpee: fact or fiction?' reverse racism. all white people are the enemy to the goal of 'sovereignty'
