The Mashpee Kids Klub preschool was closed down yesterday after a child was diagnosed with the so-called 'superbug.'
According to information provided by René J. Read, Mashpee’s assistant town manager, a student at the preschool on Great Neck Road North was diagnosed with methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), a staph bacteria that is extremely resistant to certain antibiotics.
