If the economy is in such a mess why are so many throwing big bucks in the direction of a socialist...Hanging with the Clintons puts you in the loser pool as well. I know the parking area very well. Most H-Plates wouldn't park there because of the tiny opening to the old ramp. The front - where the stores are located has a smoother ramp with less effort required. It's hard to believe that "arrogance" was behind the thought pattern of whomever was in that vehicle -especially with signage across it. The right thing to do would be to leave a note or to approach the vehicle operator and let them know that it's an H-Spot. Cape Cod Today has several bloggers, many of which have key concerns to report to the public, I however consider this neither a case of arrogance, nor a story worthy of internet space. Next time - leave a note.

Let me begin by saying i think we all agree its very sad when someone dies and if you were in the police officers shoes you would have done the same thing. The trash, i asume that the recycling comment is directed at the town of Orleans and not at the Sparrow - who at last check has recycling bins inside for customers and should not be expected to gather and labor over the trash of others. The skateboard park argument is weak - the park at the edge of the middle school grounds is a nice area for sidewalk surfers to gather and to hone their skills. Unforntunately for the kids in Olreans there are no all-season gathering spots to hang out and do their thing - The juice bar in its infancy was a failed experiement but my research shows that a new gorup of concerned adults and kids are working to find a suitable location to get it right this time - live and learn at its best - but fortunately for the locals kids - this summer will bring more job opportunities due to the visa fiasco and unlike the real "tough" teens in inner cities - they have ponds , lakes, the bay and the ocean for their downtime playground. Just skate or ride your bikes down and enjoy. The only pirecing sound there are the gulls, the surf vacationers and their laughter.

First of all , let me say that I only frequent the Sparrow on occasion. Two or three times a year. What bothers me most about Brandy's comments is her lack of gathering facts before voicing her opinion.The most important information thats not available here is that the "sound" device, to my understanding is used after hours during the summer mostly to avoid unwanted crowd gathering which may in turn lead to littering at the least and property damage at the most. Unfortunatly for kids at anytime in US history - not all are angels. For instance Brandy, are you aware of the Halloween incident of vandelism (fact) - directed at the Sparrow. Not just another instance of 'kids being kids".
Brandy has the right not to spend any money at the Sparrow or any establishment she doesn't want to and she has the right to voice her opionion , but I just figured that Dan McCullough would most likely agree that the "magic" that todays college students are creating would include fact researching - and that should reveal that these "kids" aren't all in college. And only one spelling error per post would have put me atop the class at good old Wellfleet High.....Oh wait a minute...there is no Wellfleet High...As far as the inbreeding is concerned, look at the history of the town...Did you know that when the 1800's became the 1900's the town of Wellfleet had more twins and triplets than any town in America. They all stuck around and married townies and so on , and so on...Not an insult - just historical fact. I'm willing to bet that the owners of these businesses are looking across the water from their sun splashed living room windows today as they read this latest rain on their parade report. They have money and probably have homes right on the water overlooking the sound.

I've been around the lower cape all of my life with the exception of a few years now and then. #1) Locals in Wellfleet and Townies are two different breeds - Most locals came from off cape and have made enough money to live in town and to spend it....#2 Most townies are uneducated, seasonally employeed because whats the point of getting off the barstool, washing your body, having your teeth attended to so that you have to leave town to find a "going places" job. The Blog says it all...The snakes in the grass are now caught in the jar for the entire world to see. They will fall in both the respect and the financial departments. P.S. The Bomb Shelter is a "Hole" and those that defend its presence as a place for the lower cape/townies to gather in the off season should realize one thing....The drinking problem in this town far outweighs the rest of the cape including P-town. Go get em' state boards.....

If the same sex appreciation party believes they are the majority...they are wrong ! How many votes are cast in P-town, North Hampton, Key West and San Fran ? Do they honestly believe any President with a (D) next to their name would 1) propose same sex marriage countrywide and 2) get the support from the house & senate on such a matter. The majority of the country is Conservative and believes in the Bible, You are neither.
